I've been using this CVS for many years and have had some experiences of long wait time occasionally but overall I am very pleased with their professionalism, thoroughness and courtesy. I recently had an experience where the pharmacist took the initiative to research alternatives on a prescription and how my insurance would cover the alternatives. As a result, he switched me from a generic to a name brand and saved me $140 on the refill. Not many pharmacies would think or bother to do that for you. read more

I've been using this CVS for convenience to home. Rx are always same, generic, maintenance drugs. Stopped to pick up 2 of the regulars, and after all the "newbie mistakes", young girl finally turns her back on the drive thru and calls for help. No explanation, no I'm sorry, etc. Totally ignored! Well, Pharmacist shows up later and asks what the problem is. I tell her this Rx is always $4.25 (Medicare). She tells me this IS the generic price $118 !! I asked her to check my records 90 days earlier to see the correct price. She doesn't want to hear it ‍ Just tells me it is $118. I tell her I am not going to sit in the drive thru and debate this; just refund my money. Well that was another can of worms ..... duh, we're good at taking money, but don't know how to give it back My refund came through and they lost three customers in my household alone !! Expect a very long wait if you plan to use the drive thru for prescription pick up. When calling sometimes you can expect the same, a long wait. read more

I downloaded the Yelp app just so that I can make this review. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. The pharmacist and her assistant were so rude and disrespectful. Might as well tear this CVS down and put up something more useful because this is the most useless CVS I have ever been to. read more

The pharmacist at the Spout Springs Flowery Branch location is very rude and condescending. I went in this morning to pick up a refill and it was not ready. They asked me to come back after 2, which I did and it was still not ready. The pharmacist claims it had already been filled somewhere else, which it had not. He proceeds to tell me to calm down when I told him I had not filled it any where else. Needless to say, I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

The womens bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Poop on floor and the trash can was overflowing. The toilet was clogged with poop that looked like it had been there for days. This is absolutely disgusting. I had to use mens restroom. Clean the bathroom! read more

I have been trying this CVS for a year and they are always short staffed, they consistently make mistakes about when prescription will be ready, medication isles are a mess and this location has been under construction for months. The staff tries to be friendly despite stressful working conditions. Be prepared with a lot of time and patience if you get prescriptions filled here. read more

I'm not impressed with this pharmacy! I recently had to transfer pharmacies because RX no longer approves Kroger. :/ CVS kept saying that my daughters insurance wasn't valid. I called her insurance to make sure there was no errors on my end by mistake never know it happens. Insurance Rep had to call them directly because she said they still have no record of them processing the prescription. Rep was hung up while trying to get this processed and had to call back. Needlessly to say I will be finding a new location. This took them two days to fill an inhaler, when there is two other pharmacies across the street. I called in about a prescription that was on back order and was told that they were unable to transfer the prescription to another location. The reason given was that it was against the law. I researched and determined that the law has changed and it is legal to transfer prescriptions of a level two controlled substance between pharmacies provided that the pharmacies are both registered with the DEA, it is a one time physical transfer, or can be done multiple times if done so electronically. I called the pharmacy again, Attempted to speak with the pharmacist, but was cut off and unable to even read the regulation and told that it was the wrong regulation and they must follow federal not state, whichever is stricter. Karen, the pharmacist told me multiple times that it could not be done and would hardly allow me to speak. Offered no help only to call my doctor and have them resend. My doctor is unavailable today and I need the medication. The regulations clearly state the legality, and have been in place well over a year, giving ample time to be trained and informed on the legality of what I assume has to be a common practice of transferring a prescription. Title 21, section 1306.25 of DEA Regulations is clear about this: As posted in the preambles of the NPRM and the IFR, an unfilled original EPCS prescription can be forwarded from one DEA registered retail pharmacy to another DEA registered retail pharmacy, and this includes Schedule II controlled substances. I do not appreciate the shortness and attitude when calling in, remaining calm, respectful, and most of all, correct. read more

Hey.. its CVS. Nice staff and stock is ok considering within 3 miles is a Kroger Pharm, Public Pharm, Rite Aid, Walgreens another Publix... so only go for Rx... Company makes me use CVS so have to go. Clean, does have good supply, seems pretty busy. What else can you say about CVS. Industry standard. read more

It is almost impossible to get to the pharmacy when you call. My friend joked that their message is almost as long as their receipt. All this stuff about Covid should be discussed by pushing a number as all other things are by number. To have to listen to several minutes of Covid messages is stupid - if people do not know about Covid by now ....they are living in a cave. But to have to deal with all this stuff to find out if your prescription is ready or to ask the pharmacist a question is annoying for the customer. About time they think of the customer and not waste our time. Prescriptions are done well. read more
