I have a couponing addiction with CVS! So many great deals here. The staff is super friendly and helpful whenever I need something they have been super attentive. This particular CVS seems more organized than others that I have been to. The pharmacy does tend to get back up here, and I have had to wait a couple days for certain meds to refill but I just consider that when filling my prescription now. read more

Aweful service. They're slow. If there's a problem with insurance billing you have to go to another window and wait, get it fixed, then back to the first window to get the rx. Pharmacist doesn't care, just says "sorry about that" and moves on. Absolutely zero interest in the issue or how they can improve. Absolutely disappointed. I live about 400 miles away, and I called on the evening of 10/5/22 for a prescription refill. I spoke with a lady. The employee sounded competent, and even said that they didn't have the medicine on the shelf, and would order it, with it arriving on 10/7. I asked them to contact my doctor to authorize the refill. I arrived on 10/7, and I was told by an employee that no one contacted my doctor. They cannot refill my prescription, and they told me to call my own doctor. As it was 4:45 pm, my doc had left the office. Down in Fullerton, my CVS has great customer service. I hope that the staff up here receives adequate training. This went from one star to three star because of Ali. He helped me, after I helped myself. I successfully got my dr office to call in the prescription after they closed. Ali called me and told me that the prescription is in, but this location has none on the shelf. So, he told me the closest pharmacy that does have it in stock. read more

I seriously hate this pharmacy so much. Even though it's less than a mile from my house and is almost always empty, the potential convenience is not worth the incredibly horrible customer service. I say "potential" because it's a concept that is never actually realized. Literally every time I try to pick up a prescription that was called in days or even *weeks* earlier, they act confused and tell me they don't have it. Then begins the never-ending back-and-forth with my doctor's office playing, "Whose Fault Is It?" and it's 100 percent up to *me* to referee between the two entities, each one insisting the other party is at fault. Meanwhile, I will literally go for weeks without my meds because the people managing this pharmacy either don't understand English or they think that obfuscation and intransigence is written into their job description. Had new medications sent in by my doctor for a surgery. Never have taken these medications, but I knew one was missing. The women working at the pharmacy said unless I knew the exact name of my medication they couldn't look it up in the system. I know that's absolute nonsense. Unfortunately Medicare says CVS coverage is best for me. I had surgery today. Surgeon called in prescription at 12:15p. Cruised by CVS around 3p and were told it would be an hour. Pray tell, why want it ready already? They'd already had almost three hours to count out 12 pills for someone who had just had surgery that morning. Hubs went back in 45 min later and they tried to tell him it wouldn't be ready until THE NEXT DAY!! I'm convinced Ed they weren't happy with his demeanor and were holding it to be spiteful. Just when I was extremely pleased with how well this store was being managed, and stocked, they go and change the hours to an asinine 7pm closing time! I have chronic pain, drove all the way down here on a Monday night expecting NORMAL CVS hours, and tried to go shopping, only to be told I had to leave in 10 minutes. That wasn't going to be enough time for me. You have no idea how hard it was to come down here, let alone get out of my car & go into the store. All for no reason. What kind of stupid store closes at 7pm. Especially one in a small town without many other places to shop? Really really not cool. I just tried to make it to the store by 6, got there at 6:20, because that was the EARLIEST possible time I could, and started shopping, until at 6:40, it was announced that I had to check out! WHAT?! I thought I might at least have time to get the shopping I've needed to do for several days done, but once again, forced to leave, wasted all my time, energy, and caused me physical pain for NO reason. Pharmacist didn't fill my husband's prescription, he said the doctor's office didn't indicate the mg. I went to pick it up Friday, found out it wasn't done & couldn't get hold of my doctor until Monday. Just spoke with them, they insist they DID give all info. Regardless, why couldn't the pharmacist call me? I bought a Covid test at the front desk & was told to keep my receipt in case I have to return it. When I tried to return it the next day the manager working the register told me I cannot return it, even though her staff said I could. She suggested I contact the manufacturer. .After giving them my business for years and sucking up to the rude staff at pharmacy, taking it and giving benefit of the doubt, I finally transferred all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy. When trying to get support, and consult from Pharmacist about my new prescriptions, I was made to feel like I had a problem with inquiring in the first place. They also had been regularly violating confidentiality laws for patient protections when announcing my medications out loud in front of other customers. I would not even like to give 1 star. Quality of service seems to be going down at the Felton branch (unfortunately). Front line staff seem bored and partially engaged. In my latest interaction I had to repeat my person information twice. I explained I had an emergency situation and needed to refill diabetes meds that had been stolen on holiday. The staff person told me I had no refills and to call my doctor. I explained I did try this but it is the weekend and the office was closed. The staff person repeated there was nothing she could do to refill the meds. note: I had a similar situation a couple years where I lost meds and I was out of refills. The previous pharmacist provided a smaller dose of the meds in consideration of the emergency to allow me to contact my doctor for refills so I know it's possible and thus why I was asking now... She asked if I wanted to speak to the pharmacist and I said yes please. I explained the situation again to the pharmacist and was offered the following option. - The pharmacist would give me a small dose of one of the meds (the one not as important to me). -The pharmacist would NOT give me a small dose of the primary insulin replacement I use because she didn't want to "split up a box". I get it...splitting up a box of life giving meds might screw with their paperwork and inventory. I toootally get it...and I would hate to cause a situation with my request for life giving meds that would result in a slight increase in the blood pressure of a staff member who would have to deal with this unsatisfactory inventory glitch ("...and open box!...How inconvenient!!"). So dear readers... as a final note and warning. If you are looking for help and humanitarian aide and consideration..go elsewhere and leave Felton CVS behind you. And for this reason I am offering this 1 star "runaway people" review... P.S. This store used to be ok, but has gone downhill with poor, arrogant management. Pharmacy management is rude and acts like he is doing you a favor to serve you. Front-end is hit and miss. Bullying customers to use self checkout. They claim it is Corporate Policy. Also, there are some outdated shelf tags. Avoid the Felton CVS. To add insult to injury, I am a CVS stockholder. Bottom line: Shop at CVS Scotts Valley or Walgreens Scotts Valley. They are professional, courteous, and welcoming. They do not force or manipulate people into doing self-checkout. read more

No concept of the fact that prescriptions are important. Sat on my prescription for a week. They told me if there were any issues they'd let me know but didn't. Instead they literally did nothing. I wouldn't have known if we didn't go back after a week to ask what's going on. I could've called the dr if I had known there was a problem. This is a nice CVS store, in fact way better than any one I have near me back home in Texas. This place is HUGE, for one thing. It's practically a mini Walmart. Plus it has ALCOHOL! Busy people need to be able to pick up their booze with the prescriptions, right? There is also a photo center. Tons of personal hygiene and beauty stuff. Food, snacks, medical supplies, baby care products, toys, candy and more. The location is easy to get in an out of and has a huge parking lot that is big enough for even RVs or trucks and trailers to park in (rare in these parts). Across the street is the lovely covered bridge park if you have some time to kill waiting on the Rx to get filled. Also a restaurant and coffee/donut shop in same shopping strip. read more

Horrible customer service. went in with a few friends and were immediately watched just for being younger looking teens. went into a few isles, got what we wanted, and went to check out. the lady at the register asked us "got everything you needed from isle 9?" which was a weird question because we had only been in that isle for a pass through once. we bought the stuff and left. noticing we forgot something, we came back in a few minutes later and upon entry the same women at the register told us "you're not allowed in here you were stealing" so we called one of our dads to come help us. we went in with him, demanding camera footage or some type of proof that we stole anything, which of course, they couldn't provide. the women was now talking were nervously with her voice shaking, and pacing back and forward noticing she had been wrong. but, she never admitted it, and further said we were to be banned permanently from this store and the one in scott's valley. still hasn't been resolved and this was several months back. even when things get cleared up, i'm never shopping here again until she is gone. read more

I didn't get her name, but the woman with blonde hair working at the front was so kind and helpful! I came in to get my passport photo taken and she was the only one there but was extremely efficient and helpful to everyone there! I had to wait a couple of minutes while she helped the people at the front, but she was quick to get back to helping me and was so apologetic about the wait. read more

The service at this particular CVS has deteriorated significantly over the past few years. There seldom is anyone around to ask questions of, and when you do, you're often made to feel like it's a major inconvenience. Even the manager is rude and often displays characteristics of a egomaniacal bully. Cash registers are rarely staffed, basically forcing everyone to use the self checkout stations, which more often than not lengthens the time one has to stand in line. The woman answering the phone in the pharmacy was so incredibly rude. My prescription was supposed to be filled and when I called to ask why it was taking over two days I got talked down to. She didn't offer me any help at all and basically said it wasn't her problem. I'm assuming these people are overworked and understaffed but I wasn't being rude. I got hung up on. Ya' know we don't live in the "city" for a reason. That includes a slower pace and probably not all the choices we saw on the shelves at CVS in SoCal in a city of 100K. For the last 10 years CVS in Felton has been my drug store. From time to time they seem to fill the pharmacy with trainees and things bog down. I get blank stares, and the cooperation I'm used to gets hard to find. That includes the new(?) manager-with-attitude in the last few months. I'm waiting for her to get trained and transferred - good riddance. I trust all my old clerk-friends will get back on the schedule and we'll perk along just fine. If you hate lines don't go in there at noon or 5pm - 6 pm. It's rare to find more that 2 people in line other times in my experience. I'm in there as many as 4 times a month. Love the new carpet and paint - and more spacious isles! read more

They used to be ok, lately terrible. First they texted me at midday stating that its the last day to get my medication, when I showed up 3 hours later they said my medication was put back and was no longer available. Then they rudely told me that I don't have insurance when I do. After I called my insurance and had them call the pharmacy they never apologized for the trouble, instead they said that I still could not pick up my prescription because now the pharmacist left "for lunch" and I had to wait. I came back the next day and my prescription was again "put back"! Its just absurd. read more

What a horrible change. After frequenting Longs Drugs for my entire 50 years, from the Central Valley and Bay Area, to the Felton store, which has been open for a few short years, I am heartbroken to see what has become of Longs. I have never been a Rite Aid or K-Mart fan. I have enjoyed the clean, well lit, Longs stores. The stores were always different, depending on the particular area, which was nice. They each had specialty items, which were locally focused. Well, no more. What I see at CVS is a bare bones, low end drug store. On the shelves where imported jams, interesting snack foods, and condiments once were, are now cheap plastic flip flops and dollar store type items. The two items I was looking for, were not even stocked at CVS. I left the store with nothing, walked next store to Safeway, and purchased them there, along with a few other things. (I don't even shop at Safeway usually). I also ran into a couple of local co-workers while I was in the Felton CVS. They were frustrated with the store also, saying they will not return. I don't know when this big change began, but it is in its last phase now. We have the choice to frequent CVS or not. I will choose not, thank you. What I won't do, is declare the people of a certain small town to be less than myself, then claim the people there to be rude. To do so, would be just plain nasty. read more

CVS pharmacy in Felton has gone way downhill in the past few months. Today, for example, I was finally able to reach a pharmacist on the phone to ask why the medication prescribed 5 days ago by my cardiologist has yet to be filled. This was the fourth time I have tried to reach the pharmacy by phone in the last four days, which I finally succeeded in doing by calling the minute they opened in the morning. I learned that my insurance doesn't cover the prescription and that they had contacted the cardiologist about it. They never contacted me to convey this information. Had they done so, I would have taken steps to solve the problem, given that my health was on the line. CVS is now owned by Aetna, an insurance company. It is clear that CVS is aligned with big pharma, not with the customer. read more
