The Pitt Stop Deli is a small convenience store with a full cold and hot hoagie station serving up all kinds of tasty options. I chatted with Skip, the owner, who mentioned they now accept EBT cards for items like bread, cereal, and milk. Today, I'm heading to the hot side of the grill for a meatball hoagie. Off camera, I asked if the meatballs were homemade, and he explained they come from another establishment--so yes, they're homemade, just not here. This was your classic meatball sub: toasted bun, melted mozzarella, and packed with flavorful, piping-hot meatballs. Even though it's a store, they have a spot where you can sit and enjoy your breakfast, lunch, or dinner if you'd rather eat in than take out. This is the second time I have visited this location. The first time back in June i had a bad…read moreexperience. They have tons of products in a case under checkout counter, these items do not have prices on them. In June the store had a few customers so I understood he was busy and didn't want to answer my pricing questions. He said I'm too busy , please your wasting my time , you buy or don't! Obviously I walked out because he was very ignorant. This morning I stopped in, not a customer in sight besides me. I asked for price on product and asked for 2 of said item. Not cheap items. I then asked for price ​on another item he gave me price but when I asked for price on item next to it he said they all have different prices dont waste my time. I said ok well what are the prices? He then said I'm very busy and would not give me price. There was zero customers in store. So both times I visited this store I was treated very poorly by an ignorant employee ( the same guy both times) . I will never give them business again. I left everything on counter and walked away of what would have been over 100$ in sales. I never write reviews and was so angry by the way I was treated felt it was necessary to let others know of how much of a scumbag this employee was!!
