Sheetz in Wyoming PA's All New BIG Glizzy - 7.5.2026 (The Coney Dog - Chili & Cheese)…read moreWelcome to today's Sunday Funday Food Review! We're Hot Doggin' NEPA Style, checking out Sheetz's all-new big glizzy Nathan's all-beef footlong chili and shredded cheese hot dog. We don't rate hot dogs--we celebrate them with great toppings, like in this case, chili and cheese. Big shoutout to the Sheetz in Wyoming, PA, and to Kate, Kenzie, and the two Zachs--awesome folks who make sure you have a great experience at this location. I didn't modify the dog at all; just had it as it came. The bun was soft and felt steamed, the all-beef dog was delicious, and the chili tasted the same as on their regular dogs--no difference I could detect. This dog was the bomb! I also tried the broccoli and cheddar bites--five per order--served hot and packed with, of course, broccoli and cheese. A great side item. My drink was a vanilla milkshake that tasted like French vanilla--rich, tasty, and delicious. Thanks for joining as we tried another Sheetz menu item. Be blessed, stay safe, and have a great week! Today's visit was a positive and welcoming experience. They still have the table full of hoagies like before, I did find out whatever is left goes in the cooler for people who come in the next day at opening. This time I was able to order a fresh one, now just to let you all know if you ask how, it comes its only meat and cheese, so if you want LTO you have to ask. Definitely redeemed themselves and this time was a great experience. As in my other Sheetz reviews, I can't say enough about their amazingly delicious fresh ground and brewed coffee with the cool touch screens. Why anyone would pay for Starbucks is beyond me... The food was good, just took a little while to get because it was very busy and there seemed to be fewer people in the kitchen than there should have been-typical these days and probably no one's fault, just circumstances during a labor shortage. Typical breakfast sandwiches for the ride home was just the fuel I needed in addition to the gas for the car. If in the area and needing a coffee or fuel, this is the right place for good quality and value.

I'm…read morenever sad to see a Sheetz and with me getting into town a bit earlier than I expected it was a welcome place to kill some time. With this being a new location it has the current Sheetz them with the canopy over the pumps having that slanted look. Newer building complete with a drive thru. When looking at this place, you know they knew what they were doing. Go back through street view on Google and you will see that this spot was a competitor's gas station. They just moved in, razed it, and built brand new. And with the proximity to the mall (meh) and VA hospital, they really knew that there would be a constant stream of customers coming and going. Inside, I went to use the facilities, super clean, and attempted to grab an iced tea only to find that they switched the way they dispense it now. Have I really been gone that long for them to switch to a system that isn't just fresh brewed tea and sugar? I guess so. I ended up getting some bottled water and snacks anyway, as this is my usual order of things to do when I come into town. Nice spot and it is always busy.
