Buyer beware on the Minute Clinic side. Went in for a simple ear wax removal. Everything online said this is a simple procedure and should've been about $25-40 out of pocket with insurance. Since I do have insurance and haven't been in to a minute clinic in over 2 years they gouged me for $339.00. (New client - since it was over 2 years) and (extended visit - because apparently it was both ears) mind you the whole visit was 15-20 minutes tops. And since I am healthy with insurance and haven't met anything on my deductible, they are billing it ALL to me. If you had no insurance at all the bill would've still been about $110. No wonder people hate everything about healthcare in this country. I'm grateful I can afford this, but many out there living paycheck to paycheck may want to heed this warning. read more

Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. The pharmacist, Mitch, is confrontational and unhelpful nor does he understand that not all patients fit into the perfect box of evidence based practice. Even my doctor refused to speak with him and sent my prescriptions elsewhere. On another issue with a prescription, staff on a phone call had the gall to tell me I should choose a doctor that is covered by my insurance if I don't want to have problems with my prescriptions. For reference: the doctor I was seeing was for a car accident so he was covered by my car insurance and not my medical insurance. read more

Got to the drive thru. 2 cars in front of me, kinda slow but nothing unexpected. When I got up to the window I Sat at it unacknowledged for, no exaggeration, 30+ minutes while a line of cars grew behind me & their drivers started yelling at me as if it was my fault. I hadn't even been spoken to by anyone working! Watched the staff help a handful of people at the counter inside the entire time, no clue what they were doing. I'm sure this experience had more to do with the dismal state of "healthcare" in this country overall, rather than any incompetence on the part of the staff, but still quite frustrating. Will be looking into switching to a nearby mom & pop pharmacy & highly recommend anyone reading does the same. read more

The WEBsite for this store is absolute garbage. And getting worse!! Difficult to use., riddled with errors. CVS pushes you to use online access that does not work!! Perscriptions disappear. Missing Rx from Oct 2024, talked to store, they say it there, just does not show. Next month same thing. Store does not know how to fix it? Will have to have doctor rewrite it for Walgreens this time!!. If logged into WEBsite, it offen crashes, can not login after crash Message "We can't sign you in right now ...Sorry, we're having some technical problems." Not accectable. Being forced by insurance to deal with CVS is beyond annoying. After two years they have yet to fill a prescription the same way twice. Either the generic manufacturers change often (meaning the pill sizes and colors change for the same meds which is confusing) or the bottles they use wildly vary. Some months I get 90 pills in one CVS bottle, sometimes I get three bottles of 30 pills sealed in the manufacturer bottles with labels slapped on. Sometimes my script for 90 pills will suddenly get filled as 30 and it requires another trip to pick up the remaining 60. We, too, have had the unpleasant experience of showing up on a weekend evening only to find the pharmacy closed. After decades of a 24-hour Walgreens in walking distance, it's hard to remember CVS closes its pharmacy early on weekends. So when I picked up the additional 60 pills, they were not the same as the ones I usually get. Called the pharmacy, described the pills, and was told the tech gave me 10mg instead of 5mg pills. I can cut them in half, but this is sloppy, sloppy dispensing. read more

Received text my prescription was ready around 9/29/24. Went to pick it up 10/3/24. They said my Dr. cancelled the prescription. No way he did that I said. The pharmacy manager said it was ready 2 weeks ago and I did not pick it up. I had no idea of that and made no sense as just ran out on 10/3/24. Manager was very rude to me and did not care at all that I had a medication that could be life threatening if I did not get it. Offered no help or concern. I said I am done with this store (CVS Eden Prairie on Columbine Rd). He said I hope you don't come back. I drove to urgent care at my Drs. clinic. They had NO record of Dr. cancelling my prescription. This is the 3rd time I have had problems with this store. Awhile back they had a 3 month prescription ready for me. It was way more than I usually pay. I said why so much, they said they don't know and did not offer any help. Found out myself I hit the donut hole with insurance. You would have thought they would have had some knowledge of this but again, took no initiative to try to help and just felt because I asked I was complaining. This place just does not seem to care and that starts with the management right down to the employees in the pharmacy. I have changed pharmacies of course. read more

Finally a pharmacy in the central part of Eden Prairie. Good selection in the front of store. Pharmacy is friendly and timely. I would like to see them expand to 24/7 for the pharmacy. That would make it more accessible for me. read more

The pharmacy tech was super helpful finding me the best deal for a prescription when my insurance wouldn't cover it.

This is the worse pharmacy ever!!!!! I wish I did not have to get my prescriptions filled here but my health insurance requires it. One should be able to call and get a prescription refilled easily over the phone with a simple use of an automated phone call, entering your prescription number on the keypad, etc. Their automated phone service is not working, and keeps interrupting itself and and saying "sorry" then going on and completely skipping options, etc. It has been this way for months! How does anyone even get a prescription filled? There is no option for talking to the pharmacist! Also, when you drive up to the drive up window, you have to press the button to get them to come over to help you at the window! THEY SEE YOU, but they will not acknowledge you until you press the button. Why else would I be in the drive up if I did not want help! Also, I absolutely hate being bombarded with their texts advertising their crap! I just want a text that says "you prescription is ready". I don't want texts telling me the depends are on sale or or a text telling me I should really get a shingles vaccine! I hate CVS!!!! read more

Get your Covid testing anywhere but a CVS Minute Clinic. I made an appointment, took the Covid test and waited for my results. Then I got a message from CVS that I was a "No Show" for my appointment. I have spent the last two days on the phone being transferred from my pharmacy to the Minute Clinic back to the pharmacy to customer service to a supervisor, etc., etc., etc. and no one can tell me why I received this message or connect me with the person who sent the message in the first place. I'm just left hanging--I don't know if I will be getting test results or not. CVS has managed to take a situation that is all ready extremely stressful and unnecessarily doubled the stress! This is the most unresponsive customer service I have ever experienced, ever! This is the first negative review I have every posted and I've experienced some pretty crappy service in my 70 years. I finally gave up and scheduled another Covid test through a hospital, after wasting 7 days with CVS Minute Clinic. read more

The store is clean and well located. Unfortunately I have had a terrible experience with it, as well as CVS as a whole. After I received a call from CVS that my prescription drug was ready at the Eden Prairie Minnesota store, I went there on a Sunday evening at 6:20 p.m. to pick it up. The drive-thru window appeared to be closed, however there was an outside Bell to ring for service. I did that and instead of a human, got a recording to call 1 800-shop-CVS. Thinking that by chance the pharmacy was open inside, I parked my car and went inside, only to discover that the pharmacy was also closed inside, even though the store was open. There was only one clerk at the front desk who said that there was another CVS pharmacy open in Apple Valley, MN, about 25 miles away. She gave me its phone number and address. I called that store and a helpful gentleman told me that there was another CVS Pharmacy open, closer to me, in Plymouth, MN, about 18 miles away. He gave me the address and I promptly drove up there, only to be told that my prescription could not be filled because it was "locked" at the Eden Prairie store, whatever that means. All in all, a terrible experience. A lot of time was lost, and lots of miles were driven for naught. It was impossible to speak to a human on their 800 line and the people I spoke to in the stores seems about as empathetic as a brick wall. read more
