Terrible pharmacy. I was very sick. My doctor faxed in a prescription for me at 8 am for an antibiotic. I got to the pharmacy at noon and they said there was no prescription there for me and suggested my doctor lied to me. I showed them the email from my dr showing the prescription and time he faxed it in. They treated me like I was crazy. My doctor tried calling the pharmacy to tell them he did in fact fax it in after my visit but was on hold for 20 minutes and had to get to his next patient. So as sick as I was I had to drive 90 minutes round trip to pick up a paper prescription. I took it back to the pharmacy and as the pharmacy tech was entering it into the computer she said oh it actually is there. We did get a fax prescription this morning. So they filled the paper one I had just handed. That night I got a text alert that the fax script had just been filled too. So incompetent and rude. I was visibly sick and had almost lost my voice and was treated extremely rudely and had to make a trip back to the doctor when the script had been there since 8 am. read more

This pharmacy put me on hold for thirty minutes and never answered back. While I was on hold I sent my son to this cvs and he picked up my prescriptions, returned home with the prescriptions and I was still on hold. Way to go cvs. I feel sorry for the elderly that have to deal with cvs. read more

Terrible customer service. Last remodel they made nice white linoleum tile right up to the RX pick. One Person in front of me, so I stand in the white tile waiting. Meantime eight other people decide the lineup in between the cold and the first aid Isles. Then the pharmacy tech has been nice courtesy to tell me I got to go to the back of the line in between all the aisles of merchandise to wait to pick up my prescription. Never mind that I was there before the 8 other people and they saw me standing there on the white tile in line to talk to the pharmacist. WTF. read more

Terrible, terrible, terrible! Customer service is majorly lacking at this location. Employees are extremely rude! Lines are always as long as the store and no sense of urgency from cashiers. They do the bare minimum to get a paycheck. read more

This has got to be one of the smaller CVS's around. I guess that I'm just used to the bigger, better, brighter, new CVS's that have sprung up in recent years. This one is just soooo small and a little dingy but it gets the job done when I'm desperate. read more

Nice place, nice location, but the store manager has no customer service. I was waiting to have a picture for passport for more that 30 minutes because the cashier doesn't know how to work with machine and he call the store manager for help he didn't come after call him many times he came out from the office in a rude and high tone tell cashier that he is busy, because I needed that picture I wait there for more than one hour to have it read more

There is plenty of parking at this location. The staff do a good job in making sure to greet customers as they come into the store. For the most part, the store is well organized. The coupon machine is also a price checker which is useful, especially if you want to check seasonal sale items (you can sometimes find some good deals!) I've gone to the pharmacy and asked to wait for my item. There is usually a 20 minute wait. Sometimes they forget to notify you that it's ready...which is annoying but I typically shop around the store and then hang out by the pharmacy checkout. read more

Ugh, be prepared to wait an eternity for prescription services, there is never enough staff so even a small line can take forever to get through. The employees are obviously working as fast as they can and I'm sure some impatient customers aren't too kind to them, so I hope they don't take the blame for poor management. They need a better "system" and more employees working the pharmacy. Prescription services should be a quick errand, not an all-afternoon chore. read more

I take medicine that has drastic side affects when missing dosage. The Script was called in by doc on Friday (in front of me). On Monday they informed me they had not received the script. Ran out on Monday, went back on Tuesday and was told they still didn't have it (staff was very rude). Called my doc and they called CVS to be told that the order was processed on Friday but they didn't have it in stock. Went back Tuesday night to be told they had run out, explained situation to clerk and she was told to tell me to come back because she (pharmacist) was too busy to talk. After night of vertigo, extreme high blood pressure, sweats I called doc. He said that the pharmacist should have know that these were common withdraw affects and no pharmacist should say they are too busy. Went back, forced the pharmacist to listen and was told "since you ordered a 90 script, we don't like to fill those." The pharmacist & desk staff became very rude and said it wasn't their problem how I felt. I immediately called parent company (Caremark) in front of the pharmacist, was told that they will fill it and the pharmacist will give two pills till I get my meds. When Caremark called, the pharmacist yelled fine, slammed the phone down and after 5 minutes my script was filled. The staff continued to be rude and dreaded picking up my order on Thursday, which was filled but even with different staff, are very rude. read more

It's a smaller store in need of updating. Shelves are often half-empty; I keep expecting that the location will close. Picking up at the pharmacy can take FOREVER--don't go right after work, there's always a huge line. Prices are high and I find I can usually do better at the Giant. Last time I was there I bought face wash and the price I was charged at the register was $1.50 more than the price on the shelf. I talked to the manager and she said there was nothing she could do--the price on the shelf hadn't been updated. Even at Giant they give you your item free if the price listed on the shelf is wrong. I didn't expect to get my face wash for free but it would've been nice if they could at least honor the price on the shelf. read more

This CVS NEVER has what I need - If I am out to buy more than one item I usually just by-pass it altogether ( even though I LIVE in Derwood) I drive all the way to the Gohsen CVS. Shelves are NOT stocked -- Certain items -- popular items too - the shelves are sometimes BARE of product unless you want the CVS brand. i.e. went in today for Noxema skin cream - the ENTIRE Noxema section was bare - empty shelves - only CVS brand creams -- 3 shelves were like EMPTY. Previously went for TUMS -- same thing -- shelf where Tums are supposed to be COMPLETELY EMPTY. Sale items are NEVER marked on shelves and OLD sale signs are not taken down. Was in there once and there were all these Coke sale signs so I loaded up -- got up to the counter and they told me that was LAST weeks sale. By the time they put up the sale signs, the sale is over. read more

MISSING SCRIPTS, LYING, INCOMPETENCE, PISSING OFF MY DOCTORS, & YEARS OF ARGUING. Make simple refills difficult.. This pharmacy is a joke. I seriously can't believe it exists! I live very close to it but for 5 years, never used it because friends and family all passionately swore me away from it, telling of horror stories that made them all eventually drive farther away for a competent pharmacy. I figured it's been years, they must have their crap together by now so I switched all my scripts to it for convenience a couple years ago. Since then, it's been nothing but uncomprehensible drama...I mean this place is a freaking circus. I could go all day with examples of stuff, most of it so ridiculous it's almost unbelievable; but I'm just going to shorten it to just 3 of the smaller, easily explainable ones to save time. there's some stories that you would think I was lying about bc they're so absurd. I kept noticing my refills were going too fast. I thought it was just me. A friend told me about how they kept loosing her prescriptions and refills so I asked for a print out, did the math, found out that there were countless refills that just disappeared into thin air. I brought it to their attention.. they couldn't deny it bc it was documented but just literally shrugged their shoulders. Said it wouldn't happen again and called my doc for a few extra'refills to make up for the disappeared ones that they lost for one of the scripts. Guess what, 2 months later, MORE have disappeared. They argued on the phone saying i Was wrong, until I came inside asked for a print out and yet again, showed them documented proof. They kept running out of the med I needed. I would hand them the paper, come back 3 hours later to be told it wasn't in stock (again). I'd ask for the script paper back and would be told I couldn't have it back so would have to wait for a week or so for the med to be delivered, meanwhile going through rebound/withdrawal syndrome because you can't stop taking that med all of the sudden. After this happened like 5-10 times, EVERY time I would have a talk with them about keeping meds in stock like expected & they'd assure me from now on they will.... Needless to say after over a year, I switched that script to another pharmacy Bc they never got it together (geniuses). I had a script for ibuprofen (it was a higher dose so required script) and they said it was forged and called the doctors office to verify it like I was asking for morphine or something. My doctors office many times have made jokes about the "clowns" at this CVS pharmacy because they constantly send digitally & FAX scripts over and they are the only ones that contiguously claim they never received them. The employees constantly lie to me... They have been caught in so many lies that it's mind boggling. They even lie to contradict another employees lie. Filling scripts is not rocket science And I'm easy to please. I gave that place SO many chaces (more than most) thinkin it wasn't humanly possible to get any worse...but it did. I should have listened to all my friends and family & saved myself the aggravation. I transferred all my scripts to another pharmacy. The other pharmacy had to go through hell to get it all transferred over & said that they made an obvious attempt at making it difficult (like saying they faxed it all over when they didn't, then claiming I didn't have refills of birth control that I could prove I had 3.6 of..etc). After a year at the new place, it's AMAZING! I call in the refill, pick it up that day, am greeted with a smile, my refills aren't disappearing, everything is in stock, no drama or lying or anything, I leave quick and happy with to date not one complaint or issue at all. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS CVS PHARMACY. YOU KEEP THINKING THEY WILL GET IT TOGETHER BUT THEY NEVER DO AND WILL CONTINUE TO BLOW YOUR MIND WITH STUPIDITY! The only thing I miss is getting to watch the show (every single time I was in there I usually got free entertainment by watching the person before me arguing with them.). This CVS store is conveniently located and usually has most of what I need. However, the pharmacy is sub-par. Without fail, they do not hold my prescriptions in stock,. If they do, they can only partially fill the prescription, requiring me to come back at a later date for the balance. The pharmacist has relayed misinformed drug information to me. When I and another pharmacist respectfully challenged her misrepresentation with the facts, she was argumentative and unapologetic. A monthly prescription requires a monthly blood test and registration on a data base, in order for the prescription to be filled. Received a voice mail message from CVS stating they had the prescription, but were awaiting confirmation by the doctor on the data base. Doctor left message stating confirmation on database was complete and prescription should be ready to be picked-up. Called CVS twice and was told, both times, they did not receive the prescription. Called CVS, replayed their own message for them. No apologies were offered, only the excuse that the pharmacist wrote a note and nobody saw it. At this point they confirmed receipt of prescription, but was told doctor confirmation on database was not appearing. Informed them doctor had stated confirmation was complete. Was told to call doctor myself. This happens every month. They put the burden back on me to communicate and do THEIR job. Called CVS yesterday to check on script. Was told they could only partially fill script. This happens EVERY MONTH. It is a regular exercise in frustration. Will never have a script filled at this pharmacy again. read more
