The gas actually was much higher than it other stations a half a mile north and south. It is conveniently located at an intersection and with a convenient store attached. However, they used to be the best price in town, and now they're one of the highest prices in town. read more

They are stingy. I bought 3 roiled Monrt jack chicken for 3th time. 2 before time I asked them for mayonnaise but they didn't have. This time he gave me 2 mayonnaise. I said that I have 3 roiled, I you give me 2 mayonnaise, please void on roil. Then he voided one. I work close to there. EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN / EFFICIENT FRIENDLY SERVICE Always busy, it is a miracle that the cashiers don't go crazy. Store personnel deserve many stars because they keep the shelves fully stacked. The hot cases with hot dogs and other hot sandwiches are also fully stacked. Double pluses because they keep the coffee urns full and filled with fresh coffee. No, the coffee is not super premium, but it makes up for that by its freshness and great temperature. The rapid selling of chips and baked items results in fresh items always on the shelves. I like to buy bags of ice here because they are clean and usually not frozen together. No bands playing, but for recreation you can buy lottery tickets. Good parking and the gas pumps always work well. Both outside and inside are brightly lighted at night. read more

Take your basic 7-11 and add a gas station to it. All the convenience of both worlds in a good sized 7-11 fairly inexpensive gas and go. No mechanics so if your car is breaking down that would not be the place to have it towed to. They do have a few automotive essential items like maps, oil, antifreeze etc. Open all night all day all holidays all the time. ATM, lotto tickets, air pump, lots of prepackaged and fully cooked food items. Microwave oven with plenty of instant noodles ramen and other quick fix food to eat on the road. It is fairly clean and best of all it is very safe at night, you won't have to worry about it getting robbed anytime soon cause cops hang out there all the time drinking the coffee and eating donuts. Don't speed around there or it's BIG ticket for you. read more

Never buy gas here, they never make mistakes said the manager, and what you say to them is final per managers sentiments. Here is what happened, parked at pump, got out, paid at cashier told him 40 bucks on 3. Came out, gas not coming out, so I went back inside only to find out gas was put on 4, but while I was doing that 3 cars went by on 4 so I asked for manager and to quote him, we never make mistakes and what you say is what we punch in, end quote. So I said you clearly make one today but manager was adamant and inhumane and I said I am calling the police, he replied go ahead. And I called 911. Police showed up and checked my receipt and played video tape while my pregnant wife wept in the car waiting for gas for over an hour. Police came back told me to gas up and so I did. My take away from this.....a) if manager was human as the afore fake reviews suggest he would have used his discretion put all to an end without the police involved. b) he would not have suggested I chase after all who come to pump 4 in an attempt to stop them from pumping my 40 bucks c) it is not my job to look over the guy who punches numbers in the receipts console to make sure he enters the numbers right instead of being inhuman by assuming that a customer is the one who always makes mistakes d) what happened to customer service, it seems old to me that our busy police force have to called in to settle a dispute between customer and business on custmer relations issues. e) nobody in the right frame of mind takes a son and a pregnant woman to a gas station claims he paid and wait for 1 hour calls police and argue with a business over 40 bucks however ville one may be, its just unhead off....weeping pregnant wife....f) I appeal to a living beings with hearts and sanity to never give any penny to undeserving businessman who have no respect for fellow blooded people especially the 7 eleven store on Frederick ave and Derwood rd..... read more

I went to this 7-11 gas station today to put air in the left front tire of my bimmer but since I've never done it before I asked for help and a female cashier asked an employee named Hussein to help me. Hussein flat out refused to help me! I don't know what Hussein's issue is but he needs serious training in customer service. Thankfully, a very nice young lady who was also a customer did it for me and showed me how to do it. read more

I feel kinda' weird giving a 7-11 a 5-star rating, but it's deserved. The manager makes it for me. This guy is wonderful-- personable, friendly, thoughtful, helpful and funny. Sometimes, I actually drive out if my way to get the coffee there, just so I can give "him" my money. I even drive by Dunkin' Donuts (my favorite coffee!) If I owned 7-11, this manager would be winning all kinds of corporate awards. His staff are okay, much like what you'd find at any other convenience store, but even he gets them to crack smiles once in a while. Nice coffee selection, the pastries are always fresh and the attached gas station is a nice convenience. I also agree with another poster who says he feels safe because of all the police officers. I love that feeling. I've been reading lately about a lot of cases where the police are abusing their power, but I find these officers to be wonderful public servants... so happy to have them around. read more

This is your basic 7-11/gas station combo. Nothing spectacular, nothing to write home about. One of the refrigerator cases was out of order. Good location overall. read more

7 eleven to the rescue! I wouldn't recommend anyone coming to this one especially females since its right on the corner on a highway and is a lil sketchy. Ul find what you need here but drive up a little and go the one near Dunkin donuts and baskin robins (China bistro plaza) it's newer and less sketchy ! The manager here went way above and beyond to help me. He is the greatest convenience store manager I have ever interacted with, and I wish I lived here so I could visit every day. I took an overnight bus to DC, the red line to Shady Grove, only to find out the bus routes had been changed (no more 991, forget what the website says; new number, new times, and no help for me). The woman at the metro station told me to either call a friend for a ride or take an Uber; not only would it have been $70 I don't have to get to Hagerstown, my phone had just died! So I walked out, aimlessly, not knowing the area but having no other options (hitchhike? bus to Germantown then hitchhike??). I was hoping for one of those Starbucks that has phone cords on the tables, but I knew that was a long shot. I fortunately came across this 7-11 and asked the man working if I could charge my phone, who immediately said okay and plugged it in. I bought a coffee and waited a while; he let me into his private bathroom knowing I was in a bad situation (but asking no questions) and didn't mind that I was taking up space. Finally I took my phone and tried to find a way to Hagerstown (this is when I learned it would be way too much for a rideshare..). I had to call a friend for a ride (obviously I didn't want to make a friend drive 2 hours round trip, but so it goes). In my distressed form, I set down my computer and walked off! Waiting in Juanitas restaurant around the corner, I realized my mistake. I sprinted back but it was not there. I left. But came back again wondering if I had left it in the bathroom. As soon as he saw me, he asked if I had forgotten something, went behind the desk, and there was the computer I'm typing on now. I'm here waiting for a ride that I was able to call because of charging my phone, typing on my computer that I need for work but couldn't have easily replaced. All because of the manager at this 7-11 who was working hard at keeping his store stocked, clean, and running smoothly, so much so he barely had a moment to accept my thanks, yet went out of his way to help me. read more

This 7-Eleven is close to my house and on my way to work, my daughter's school, church, etc. which is the only reason I have stopped there on several occasions. It is not exactly the cleanest or nicest place, but certainly it was very convenient. When I can, I prefer to stop at other 7-Elevens where the service is outstanding. Anyway, on my last occasion stopping here, I stopped because I had misplaced my charger chord and needed my phone charged and stopped to get one there. It was early Sunday and not much else was available and I needed the phone charge for the interpretation I do at my church. I was sold a charger wire for the outrageous price of $15, knowing I could get much cheaper online or better quality at the ATT store. I was told I could not return. I said if there is nothing wrong with it why would I return it. As soon as I got to the car, I took it out and began to try to charge it. Nothing happened. I noticed the wire was cut! It was damaged. I immediately took it back and the lady at the counter kept laughing and saying I told you, you could not return it. I said, but you knew it was damaged when you sold it to me or you would not be laughing like that. She continued to laugh and I asked for a manager, but there was none. Her boyfriend who had been flirting with her all this time, told me in no nice terms to get out and suck it up. He keep putting his face in front of mine, and he was a huge guy, and raising his voice and telling me to leave her alone. I left telling her I would call my credit card. She laughed even more telling me they would not do anything. Now, how did she know that? I did call my credit card that Monday morning and was told that they would return the money to me but would do nothing to the 7-Eleven as it would cost them too much to pursue the matter, much more than the $15. So the 7-Eleven staff knew much more than I, that it would not happen. How could she know if she had not already done this before? Is this a usual practice at this store? It left me wondering, but nonetheless, I will not return to a dishonest store and one in which I am even yelled at and threatened. Please beware of what you buy here. I probably should have called the manager, but I tried a few times and she was never there and I stopped trying. I did not care anymore to make things right. This should never have happened in the first place and if the store owner and /or manager had their employees well trained, it would not have happened. read more
