Never got our post surgery questions answered. This is a terrible and dangerous way to run a business. Management should be fired for such a half-assed, impersonal healthcare system. This is the best minute clinic/pharmacy in the area. Dr. Guzman, who I have seen twice now, is a sweetheart and understands that I know my body (specifically my awful sinuses) and listens to me, while getting me in and out of the clinic as fast as possible. The pharmacy works at lightning speed, I had my prescription 5 minutes after she sent it over. All friendly, kind employees and the store is super clean as well. read more

Any Drugstore or Convenience Store is only as good as the people who work there and at this CVS the sales staff is anything but. First rule of checking out any customer should be gaining the customer's rewards card or phone number in order to save them money on sales items. At my last visit the guy forgot to ask and in all this Covid-19 confusion with the folding tables between the counter and the customers it made for a hectic shituation. Anyway near the end of the transaction I said "hey, you never asked for my phone number." He then tells me that it's too late and that they can't "return" merchandise during the Pandemic. I'm like "Return?" "I'm Not Returning Anything, I just want My savings on sale items?" The guy looked at the store manager [who sucks btw] and she said "Nope, too bad, we can't return Any merchandise!" "Hahahaha, you people are a freaking joke" I said. And I left all my stuff there. Came here for the first time a few weeks when I was able to book a booster a few days in advance. I absolutely loved the nurse - I wish I got her name. She was extremely gentle and gave insight on how to potentially minimize side effects. She also spoke about her granddaughter and in general, was great at distracting from the situation. Completely loved her and would come back for future shots just for her! I've been back to this location since it's bigger than my closest location. I like the deals, and so far, have been mostly satisfied with the customer service of the people there. By no means is anyone too friendly, but they help properly when asked and I appreciate that. read more

Had a scrip emailed in here from a nearby urgent care center. When I arrived, I Let them know I was there waiting. The tech made sure they had received the scrip and said it would be a few minutes. They called my name for my scrip before Id even selected my otc wound care topical. They were very busy - phone calls, drive through, counter. Don't know why the address hasn't been changed for this CVS yet, but this location is in Denville. Anyway, I've had to buy medicine in some pretty crappy places, but this isn't one of them. This CVS is very clean, the pharmacy staff are very helpful, the medicine is usually very well-stocked, and the location is pretty convenient for me. On the negative side, we've had numerous problems with the photo lab in this place. This review is in regards to my experience at this location after 10PM on 9-16-2018. I went in to purchase a phone cable for my iPhone as my old cable decided to stop working. Finding the phone cables was a little bit of a challenge as they were hidden in a corner. (They were also incredibly overpriced when I did manage to find one). When I went to pay, I placed my items on the counter (the phone cable and a package of dental floss). Naturally, I placed the items on the center of the counter. The cashier, Bernie, could not be bothered to reach a few inches to a foot across the counter to pick up the items. He needed me to push the items all the way towards him. He scanned my items, but never asked me about my ExtraCare card. So, I told him I had a phone number to insert. He made a snide remark that the price would stay the same. (This was the case this time, but it's not necessarily true. Even if the items aren't on sale, it doesn't mean I do not have coupons or Extra Care Bucks loaded onto my card). I swiped my card at the terminal, entered my PIN, and then waited. The screen read "Processing.... Please wait." Bernie made a comment about how I need to pay. I told him it was processing. Thinking the terminal was frozen, I started pushing buttons. It beeped, but did not respond. It sounded like Bernie said that I already paid, so I told him I was waiting for my receipt. Turns out, he was mumbling that I still needed to pay for my purchase. At that point, I turned the card reader around to show him that it said the transaction was processing. (Note: I have worked at multiple retail establishments. Typically, when the terminal is stuck on "Processing....Please Wait" it is because the CASHIER needs to press a button on the register.) At no point did Bernie apologize for the transaction taking so long. He blamed me. The transaction was either taking so long due to technical difficulties (in which case, a manager should have been called over for help, or I should have been moved to an empty register) OR, which was more likely the case, it was taking longer than necessary because the cashier was not doing his job properly. Bernie was incredibly rude.This was, by far, one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. read more

The check in was easy and I did not wait long; she sent my RX over to the pharmacy and it was done within three minutes. I leave this place infuriated every time. If I could get paid for all the time I've wasted here, that'd be awesome! Every single time I come here, there is an issue with my prescriptions. They can't find it, or I've received the call that it's ready but it's not, or my name is spelled wrong and they can't find me, or there's a random problem with insurance, or I'm told 5 different stories to follow up on, or I'm waiting on the line for 20 minutes and then I'm sent to another line to wait for another 20 minutes. Very disappointing service. It's a 24 hours CVS. My complaint isn't for the pharmacy like the other reviewers, it's for the front registers. I bought some stuff that should've used coupons that were attached to my CVS card. After the transaction was done, I asked why they weren't applied. The guy who checked me out was not there but his shift supervisor, Bob, was there and said he could not help me with my "superfluous questions that waste his time". Me and my friend who are both teenagers walked into CVS for about 30 seconds, shopping for a makeup brush that she were PLANNING TO BUY. Like 5 seconds later, an angry blonde female manager walked up to her and accused her of trying to steal it. We literally only came there for the brush and we're going to buy it??? Her evidence was that she "thought she was gonna put it in her bag" but she did not? And she threatened to CALL THE POLICE. She said that she was going to put it in her bag, but also, false information. The accusation was with no evidence and she could've just literally seen us go up and buy it because we were going to. And we told her we were planning to buy the brush and she just would not let us buy it. She was so absolutely nasty and so so angry for no reason and it was so upsetting. If I could give this zero stars, I would! First of all, I have never had to WAIT SO LONG for a prescription in my entire life! The people that work at this pharmacy aren't too nice to you either. On top of that, they embarrass people by shouting out "WHAT'S YOUR DATE OF BIRTH" "WHAT'S YOUR ADDRESS" while you are waiting and if you don't give it to them, they get nasty and tell you they can't give you your prescription (that you've been waiting for!!) I don't want to verbally relay all of my personal information to anyone in a public setting. I've had identity theft in the past and it's a horrible thing to go through!This is the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Who do they think they are?!! This CVS is sorta like a gambling game. I've gotten people who are super helpful and nice and other times I've gotten people who don't care and give you very little attention. I find that the drive through can be the quickest way to get your meds. I usually wait for 5-20 minutes to pick up my meds if there's a car or 2 in front of me. Otherwise they are pretty quick if there's not a long line. Inside there's not really an order or urgency so I find they help the customers in cars better. The cashiers here are average. The prices are typical of CVS; expensive and limited products. You're much better getting your stuff from the ACME that's right around the corner from the CVS for any of your needs if you're going for your meds. read more

I have never been so dissatisfied with a place that is supposed to help and serve the customer as I have been with this place. Attempted to use the minute clinic last night for my daughter. Tried to sign in at 6:45pm, 45 minutes before scheduled close of the clinic, and was told that because there were two people in front of me my daughter most likely would not be seen. I could wait and see but if the medical "professional" was not done with both patients by 7:15 my daughter would not be seen. Not only was this version of their policy not stated anywhere but they refused to adhere to the posted policy of no sign ins after 7:15 and rather refused me at 6:45pm. If they can't get through two patients in 45 minutes I'm not so sure I want to see them. I was so disappointed in their poor business practices and poor customer service as well as their lack of compassion as a service for those who are ill. Every pharmacist at this store gives you a different song and dance. They employ only one competent pharmacist. If he is not working your prescriptions probably will not be processed correctly. Only 3 were run thru insurance. If I didn't question the high price I would have paid as if I didn't have insurance. If I could go any place else to fill Rx I would run from here. This pharmacy and minute clinic are totally overwhelmed. No longer 24 hours anymore either. The pharmacy is okay if your doctor can send prescription over and then you drive through. Otherwise you will wait FOREVER. Their phones are overwhelmed. Worst of all is the Minute Clinic. There is NO separate process for just an immunization so you wait behind everyone else in the world with an ailment. You cannot schedule ahead. You log into PC and the wait times are insane half the time or totally innacurate - quote 90 minutes and ready in 30. Walgreens in Denville lets you book immunization on line, fill out form ahead of time and you do NOT wait behind Minute Clinic ill people. read more

It's hard to explain how bad they are. Hung up after 25 minutes and then on hold for an additional two occasions both times for 20 minutes. If you do get through, you will wait in line up to 30 minutes to pick up your prescription. They are just terrible and I have switched my pharmacy even though my prescriptions are slightly more. This is a review for the minute clinic. I actually had a great experience there. I had a terrible cold, and was looking to be seen ASAP. I used the sign-in feature online, and then checked-in at the kiosk when I arrived. No wait! The APRN, Kristen, was amazing! It was honestly the best 'urgent care' experience I've ever had. She was extremely thorough, had a wonderful bedside manner, and explained everything about what she was seeing and what she was doing.
