If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the worst cvs I have ever been to and hate that my insurance only covers my meds through here. Rude employees and always have a line damn near to the street. Dont get me started on how my medication is never ready EVERY TIME I COME!!! The app is not accurate "Your prescription is ready for pick up and will be held until the 18th." Comes on the 11th just for it to be non existent and sent waaayyyy back to the back of the line to wait another 20-30 minutes. (Atleast I can use that time to write this nasty a** review.) The store refused to fill my prescriptions because I don't have insurance this month. Way to treat regular working class people. Just because you can't overcharge an insurance company for drugs that cost cents to make, you deny my ability to get my medication. I'll never shop at their store again. If I could leave a negative star for Customer Service, I would. I had an unpleasant experience with the pharmacy drive-thru employee whose manner was abrupt, hurried, and totally disinterested. I took her name and called to speak to her supervisor...not there. I spoke to a pharmacist instead, and apparently she had the same customer service training...she was also abrupt and interrupted me continually, saying the words OK, OK, OK while I was trying to explain my complaint about the tech. She was so busy talking over me that I knew she didn't understand that I wanted CVS to stop refilling my scripts because I had cancelled them twice before. I vowed last October to never be their customer when they refused to fill my prescription from my doctor that they had been filling for years. However, I was forced again to go back because of their policy of auto-refilling. The lack of customer service skills can be summed up in the pharmacist's last words she said as she hung up on me, "I'm glad you're not staying with us." Pharmacies are bad these days, but find another one if you're a CVS customer. You might find yourself without a much needed prescription because their pharmacist decides, on his own volition, not to fill it ...AFTER your insurance approved it...at the window...on a Friday evening... AFTER your doctor's office is closed. Worst PHARMA chain ever. read more

Wish I had looked at reviews before wasting my time at CVS. The pharmacy manager is rude. I was told I had to get out of line because I wanted to use my GoodRX coupon. 30 seconds later they text me my prescription was ready then had to wait in line behind 3 other cars again. asking for a manager was no help. read more

Today I called to ask for advice from the pharmacist about one of my prescriptions. He was disrespectful and talked over me many times. When I brought to his attention that his tone of voice was condescending, he told me that he was sorry I felt that way but it's the tone he uses with everyone. I asked him to speak to me respectfully, considering he was in customer service, and he responded, "that's where you're wrong. I'm not in customer service, I'm in the medical profession, and this is the tone I use with everyone". I asked him if he was the only pharmacist at that location, because it would be a shame if he caused the whole store to lose business because of his attitude. He said that he was the "managing pharmacist" and he was in control of all business there. When I told him that it was unfortunate that I had used that location for three years and due to one conversation with him I would no longer be using them, he told me, "no it's unfortunate that you believe that". This call took place around 9am on a Saturday. read more

I have been coming to CVS for years never had an issue. Yesterday I try to pick up my three kids prescription. I told the technician I had three kids prescriptions to pick up and once I said the third kid's date of birth and name, she rolled her eyes and made a half noise like she was annoyed. I then got upset and told her what her issue was that this was her job and she got even more upset road rise in my face I confronted her ask her I needed to speak to the pharmacist. Pharmacist got to the window and apologized without me even letting him know what happened. Once I told him what happened, then he just said OK thanks for letting me know. I've never seen this tech before her named Ariana completely rude and disrespectful. read more

All pharmacists and techs are rude. One trip, we witness them giving the wrong orders to the wrong people them yelling at each other for mistakes. We had a prescription written another way then the previous. They said the insurance denied it. We called ourselves, it was never denied. They just refused to called their customer service to veify the insurance. Both of us ended up in a yelling match with the tech who refuse to turn to a manager for help. They also tell you 15 mins for a wait time, their 15 mins is an hour. Avoid the pharmacy, if you and your loves one value your health. They could of took my child with costly mistakes. read more

I have been using cvs many years. The last several years have been horrible service. The pharmacist is rude. He told me I needed to find a better doctor. "I told him no, I will find a better pharmacist. "And I had my prescriptions transferred across the street to Walgreens where they will refill the prescription with the correct prescription. Cvs keeps calling me telling me my prescription is ready for pick up even after months of not using them and transfer. They keep faxing scripts for refills to my dr. Office after transferring. I called them and told them To cancel all refills as I have transferred them. They are still calling and texting me. It's a nightmare at this Deer Park CVS. They need a new pharmacist whom behaves as a professional... needs some training in how to interact with clients. That is if they want to remain in business. You know the first time i came here they lost my prescription. Then they made me get another one instead of them handling it. I know that things can get busy n lets face it stuff happens. 2 weeks later i gave them a second chance and i still not satisfied. The service at this location could not be any worst. From urgent prescriptions not being filled until the 3rd visit 5 hours later we took our prescription across the street to Walgreens, to rude staff. Employees are frustrated. Their Minute clinic is a joke. Ignore whatever wait time they give you. I made an online appointment at 10 which told me to be there by 12:11. I was there by noon. After checking I'm it was another hour and 40 minute waIt. We sat there for over an hour, and she only saw 2 people (one of which was in there before we arrived). This has happened every time we go. The only thing the "doctor" was on time for was her lunch break. read more

In fact, one of the "managers" was so busy taking a personal call on her cell phone, that she couldn't help me. This was after no one could help me because they were coloring a cardboard castle display. I hope they sell a bunch of those castles to make up for the money I will no longer spend in that store. I went to this pharmacy for the first time and went to get a prescription filled. The tech went to ask the pharmacist, Mario, a question about the prescription and he told me very rudely that the town the dr is in isn't within range. The tech quietly said within 50 miles. I told the pharmacist that it's within that 50 mile radius. He then tells me in an even uglier tone that he's not filling it. Either he just wanted to be an outright asshole or he didn't want to help a white woman. The way he talked to me really made me feel like it was a race issue and I am not the type of person who is known to pull the race card. So I went across the street to Walgreens and they didn't even bat an eye. read more

By far the worst pharmacy in the area. Every time I try to pick up a prescription quickly, it turns into an hour ordeal- even through the drive thru. The pick up times they give are never accurate so I'm always asked to circle back to the back of the line. On one occasion I was told to do this 3 times by a technician before I went inside and found a resolution. The drop off lane is usually closed so even if you simply need to fill something to pick it up later, you have to wait 20 minutes. read more

This place is ridiculous. I have been doing business at CVS for years and the store has been declining. Today I took my girlfriend in the Deer Park location and they refused to fill her prescription due to the doctor being too far away. The pharmacy assistant said it was a 50 mile radius and the doctor in question was 43 miles away. The pharmacist did not even allow us to show him that it was well within the radius told to us. We went across the street to Walgreens and they had no problem with it whatsoever. This pharmacist (Mario) was the rudest I've ever met. I will be taking all of my business as well as my girlfriend's to Walgreens and will direct anyone I come across to do the same. Save yourself some grief and just go straight to Walgreens. I mean it's across the street for god sakes. read more

I cannot speak on behalf of the pharmacy however, I have been to plenty of other CVS locations nationally and could compliment this location on it's cleanliness and staff. Granted, it is rather busy and notably understaffed but if you factor in the location surrounded by clusters of neighborhoods and little competitors, you'll appreciate the staff could only handle so much. read more

This is a terrible pharmacy. We are in the middle of the covid pandemic so things are difficult which I understand. However, I went through the drive thru to pick up medication. The car in front of me waited and drove away without being helped. I pulled up to the window and was also ignored. There were three techs and a pharmacist standing at the counter. Not one person could be polite enough to open the window and say they were closed or offer to help. There was not a sign posted on the drive thru window stating they were closed either. In addition, the staff called my doctor to request a prescription refill on a medication I have not taken in over a year. I also haven't been to this doctor in 9 months. When I called to complain I was hung up on. These people are rude and disrespectful. Oh how I miss Walgreens. Hopefully the school district I teach at will change our insurance so that I can go back to Walgreens again. Maybe CVS could train the pharmacy department better? A little respect goes a long way toward customer loyalty. read more

The worst service I have ever got from a pharmacy. Sat in line for over 30 minutes to get up to the front for them to tell me it would be another 30 minutes from the original 2 1/2 hours they quoted me in the beginning. Poor pharmacy service at this store. They fail to contact Doctors when they say they will. My wife's Rx have been wrong on several occasions. Poor and uncaring management. The last time I complained to a manger about the poor pharmacy service, he said he was new to the job so it wasn't his problem. Waited on them for 4 days to get authorization for a prescription that my wife was going to need on our vacation, they never got it. Went to Mrytle beach, NC and the CVS pharmacy there got it filled in 24 hours. read more
