Don't waste your time, or money, on CVS Minute Clinic. I recently scheduled an appointment with George Silvosa. I told George that I had violent coughing spells, that kept me awake at night, and were impacting my ability to perform job related functions. George's solution, an over the counter allergy medication, a prescription nasal spray, and an antibiotic that I shouldn't take for 3 to 5 days if my cough does not improve. Since the visit, my cough has gotten worse. I'm actually coughing up blood now. So after paying CVS $85, and another $35 for medication, I will need to schedule another appointment to get a real exam. I'm cannot continue to lose sleep and have issues at work because I cannot stop coughing. read more

I was feeling under the weather (teacher) in the time of illnesses and sicknesses. Tested negative to covid, strep, rsv, etc, but was still given prescriptions from my doctor just to help ease the side effects of feeling awful. I went in this past Saturday and it took this specific location ONE WEEK to fill my prescriptions. These were not hard to grt prescriptions either....We will be doing business with Walgreens or some other location in the future. I went to print out a few photos. When they were ready, I approached the check out counter and they guy, his name tag said Jackson, was behind me and took his sweet time to go get me the photos to check out, even when I noticed that he clearly knew I was there for the photos. When he finally got there, he didn't say a word to me. I said "hi" he didn't reply, not even acknowledge me. He said the total and that's it. The receipt says my cashier was Kanaan, but his name tag said Jackson, maybe he has 2 names. First off they don't fill "high dollar" scripts without you approving it, which would be fine if they called or messaged, but they don't so you have to call but they also don't answer the phone so you can only leave messages. Second, I called to give them discount card info ahead so I could pick it up through the drive thru and they refused to take it over the phone. When I arrived, it was a fiasco of standing in line multiple times (I'm disabled and standing is painful) only for the pharmacist to tell me he didn't like my attitude and I could go elsewhere. I asked the pharmacist why they don't answer their phones. I quote her response, "We are too busy" She also suggested I use the CVS app for everything else. I explained to her that the app does not let you make all changes to your prescriptions and since they do not answer their phones, it makes it difficult to make a minor change on something that would have taken less time by phone. Therefore, creating more work for themselves since I can't call them and will not drive to tell them that some of the prescriptions they are trying to order, I will not be picking up. My doctor decided not to have me take the prescriptions anymore. They are causing more work for themselves by not being able to answer customer phone calls. It will not let me cancel the prescriptions on the app. read more

Many likely don't know that CVS was once called Consumer Value Store. Not really and "values" here as most items are far above that of their chief competitor. However, in a pinch, they are decent for the pharmacy services. Pharmacy tech today offered to look up coupons on his phone to save a little bit of cash. Tried to call the pharmacy phone number several times this evening; absolutely no answer, not even an automated response saying the store is closed. I used the phone number on the prescription label, which is the same phone number that is listed on Yelp. Most of these pharmacies have a phone system that allows one to order a prescription renewal using their automated system, 24 hours a day. Not this one. read more

I came to this Minute Clinic when my son broke out in a rash from head to toe. The physician assistant that was working there that day quickly diagnosed it as contact dermatitis. She asked a slew of questions and we finally figured out the source was his shampoo. He took Benadryl and hydrocortisone cream and it cleared up in 24 hours. read more

Excessive waiting!!! I came in with plenty of time before their 1:30pm lunch. The nurse sat around in their clinic office for 15mins before lunch started and after their last appointment before mine. Then the nurse promptly left for lunch at 1:30pm. I was told to wait until 2:30, after lunch. When lunch time ended, the next patient was seen before me. When I stuck around, I was finally called in afterward. The scheduling was blamed by the nurse. That may be the root issue, but not every minute clinic has these problems. My appointment did not take 15mins and could easily have been fit in before lunch, had the effort been there. Instead, I had to wait around for another hour and a half. read more

It's almost comical how annoyed the "customer service" is in the pharmacy. It very clear that these guys have no urgency and really don't want to be there. I have honestly not walked into pharmacy where the staff seems like they hate their jobs. This cvs also seems to be out of like just basic stock items and have a limited selection of diabetic supplies. I only use CVS for the convenience of the app and transferring my prescriptions around--- but truly the customer service at the Walmart pharmacy and Walgreens down the street is at the very least more pleasant. read more

The pharmacy department is definitely one of the worst I've dealt with in answering telephone calls. I called today after being sick and needing a vital medication and was on hold for 40 minutes with no acknowledgement whatsoever! I then called the store to see if they could assist with getting me some help in the pharmacy, I was told there were 5 people working back there transferred back to pharmacy and was on hold for another 10 minutes!!! I then called back to speak with the store manager and was on hold for 5 minutes with no acknowledgement so I called the cvs corporate office. Really!!!!! My boyfriend then just drove there to get assistance instead of staying with me after heart surgery! Ridiculous...guess the 1 Star review is warranted!!!! read more

I wouldn't use this pharmacy unless there was one closer or my insurance didn't make me use CVS. Nearest after this locale is Denton or Little Elm, both are a ways from me. Every single chronic script I have brought to this pharmacy has been delayed, mixed up (tablet vs capsule) and once told me a medication I had been taking for three months already didn't even exist!!! I had to physically go to my old Walgreens and bring back the Rx number for the CVS guy to find it in the computer. Apparently he wasn't allowed to call it in. Occasionally I'll also get a text saying my meds are ready, but when I go to pick them up they are not. Pharmacists are nice but everything gets mixed up and it's such a headache. The Crossroads, Texas CVS pharmacy team has the worst customer relation skills I've ever seen in a pharmacy! You can stand at the pickup counter for 10 mins and no one will acknowledge your presence. So, clear your throat to garner attention and someone will walk over, ask name, go get your script and never speak to you again. Not one word. They act like their customers have Ebola or something disgusting. On the other hand - the cashiers in the front of the store are always super friendly and helpful. In the year and a half that I've been using this CVS I have not once had my prescription be ready when they said that it would. When you ask to wait for a prescription they say it will take an hour, and even then an hour turns into two or three. You can set a pick up time, show up, and they don't start filling your medication until you show up to get it. I had a prescription called in 4 hours ago and have been here waiting to pick it up for 40 minutes while my sick baby screams. Ridiculous. Worst service ever. The store itself is clean and has great staff, so it's a shame that the pharmacy is so terrible. read more

Very poor service in Pharmacy dept. Has been for years-- I put up with it because it is the closet pharmacy to me. No more! Each time I call and ask no one knows the answer. If I could give zero stars, I would..This cvs is consistently awful, inefficient, and slow. They never have things ready. I even called an HOUR before I went and they said "oooh sure, we are just wrapping it up. Just a few minutes." So an hour later, I went by. Not only did I sit in the right lane while 3 cars came and went in the left lane, once she finally got to me I had waited about 20 minutes only to find the pharmacist need to "verify something with the prescription"... It was just amoxicillin. Finally I got my prescription with a half hearted apology for the wait. It's every single time. They never text when something is ready and they tell me is ready when it's not all the time. It's annoying and the service in general is lazy and apathetic. Each person I have encountered in this store has been helpful, from the cashiers/clerks to the manager. *NOTE: I have not used the pharmacy here.* This store does not always have what I need, however, coming here to shop is generally pleasant and there is a pretty good range of items like personal care products (skin care, cosmetics, etc.) They are a little lacking in the home repairs section, which is not that surprising given that the store isn't huge. They never have mt prescriptions ready even after 48 hour waits and automated calls telling me to come get the medications. They always have reasons but no solutions. Complaints are ignored. The car line was 10 deep so I went in where I was about 10 deep in line. When it was finally my turn only one script was ready even though I got the text message yesterday that both were waiting on me. When I asked what happened the glazed eyed person at the register just said"I don't know. We are still behind on scripts from a week ago. The Pharmacy customer service could be better. Pro: they're friendly, smile and use your name. Con: Slow. Waited 15 minutes before I was approached (in the store). During that time three cars pulled into the drive-up and were greeted and served. Seems someone is assigned to the drive-up, but not the pick-up desk inside. This is not the first time they've been very slow, but it's the only CVS in the area. Walmart is across 380 and I'd advise you to take your business there. read more
