I ordered some gift items online and went to pick them up. One of them had a scratch and I requested a different item. The young man with the puffy hair working at the customer service desk on April 16 at 10:45 was not helpful. He barely spoke to begin with. I had to ask all the questions to get to the point that he could scan my barcode. He was unable to scan the barcode and had to get someone to help him. To top it off he told me where they were located in the store and that I could go get it myself. His directions were confusing. If wanted to go shopping, I would've come to the store to go shopping. I have a bad back and did not feel like walking to the back of the store, but he did not offer any assistance when I asked. Horrible customer service. The girl that was working was the one that was doing all the work and she was doing great. She was also friendly too. While she was getting my items, the desk phone was ringing repeatedly while the guy kept fiddling with his scanner. At one point, I leaned over and looked at the phone and looked at him, but he didn't answer the phone. The girl working in the department with household goods was friendly and helpful as well. read more

Here's the deal -- Target's drive-up is the best in the business. So why have I now had two subpar drive-up experiences that leave me very uninterested in spending any more money at Target? Experience #1: November. I ordered some toys to donate to a toy drive. I wait in a drive-up space for, oh, let's say at least 15 minutes. Someone finally shows up, and only when I ask why I've been left waiting forever do they admit that...they couldn't find my shopped order, so they went and re-shopped it while I was waiting. This of course meant that an item was cancelled because it was out of stock because...it was in the original order that they couldn't find. Did anyone apologize for the inconvenience, the missing item, or the fact that I was left waiting without any indication of what was going on? No. Could I get anyone at the store to answer the phone to discuss this? Also no. Experience #2: Today, March. I ordered a whopping two household cleaning items. I gave the usual notice in the app, parked in one of the front spots, and proceeded to wait while the few cars there were served, as well as several more cars that arrived well after me. I finally saw someone approaching holding my items...who then began walking past my car. I rolled the window down and called them over and said that I was wondering if I had been forgotten. There was no response, other than starting to walk toward the back of my car asking if I still wanted it on the driver's side. News flash -- this is the part where you apologize for the inconvenience. Shockingly, it only took two tries to get someone on the phone, who transferred me to someone else. No one gave their name, but at least the second person apologized and asked for the name on the order so they could look into it. However, it might be too late for Target, as I'm pretty fed up at this point. Why bother waiting around in the drive-up area for rude service when I could just order from Amazon and not leave my house? Hmmmmm, why not indeed. read more

The store is always out of meat and poultry products and when placing an order in the app, it says that they have more than enough of an item because it is not indicated by "the store only has (insert quantity) left" in-fact the item says in stock and they don't have it after all, that happened twice!! Twice now I have gone to pick up a drive up order and have been missing an item. Even though this target is 10 minutes from my house I'm going to start going to the store and Flower Mound and see if I have a better experience because it's just absolutely ridiculous. I've only been going to the store for 8 months because I just moved to Denton and I've had this many problems already. read more

I went to the starbucks and was treated extremely rudely by the staff the only saving grace was Cole. I noticed that the female staff was calling out everyone else's name except for mine and ended up leaving my drink just sitting there at the cold bar without notifying me. I felt like they had a vendetta against me and I did not appreciate the way that I was treated. This Target is always clean. Employees have masks on and they even clean the self checkout registers after each use. This last time I didn't see it happen, but I may have missed it. Their masks for purchase are good quality and have some "stylish" ones. I recently discovered they have Whole30 compliant condiments: Primal Kitchen. What makes this place even better is the Target app! You can find Target Circle deals, online order, drive up pickup options, the target wallet also lets you pay with your phone. The Target Red Card (credit or debit) gives you and extra 5% off. It's not much, but if you're going to pay the same price somewhere else might as well get an extra 5% off. Amirite?? read more

We called in an order so we don't have to go in. They literally never get the order right and here I am again driving home and having to come back AGAIN because they put the wrong thing in my bag. I had several bags I don't have time to CHECK YOUR WORK. THEN, you return the item and NO ONE SAYS "Sorry about that inconvenience". SERIOUSLY. I know you're only 20 and don't care but I'm 55 and we had a sense of responsibility enough to say we were sorry for that and then I still had to hunt it down. At least you could have had someone go get it for me as SOME SORT OF COMPENSATION for screwing the order up. If you made your employees have to go get it for the customer I bet you would start getting it right the first time more often. I can't wait till the other Tate get opens this one is poorly managed. First of all...they never answer phones. I understand they may be helping someone in the store and can't. It's every time I check to see if they have something in stock. I look on the website and it says they have one in stock and I am just calling to verify. Then, the customer (me) has to physically go to the store and find out they don't have it. This is not the first time this has happened. I normally don't give bad reviews but this has to be resolved. Hire someone to assist with checking on things in store. It's that simple! I don't know if this Target changed management? But it feels like an entirely different store in the last month than it was the past few years. The employees have not been kind, there is merchandise all over the place, and I have been there multiple times when they close the fitting rooms several hours before the store closes - I have also over heard the employees joking with each other and cursing about the shoppers inside of the fitting room area when they close it down, laughing about how they just don't want to work. This is truly my first yelp review to ever write, because I am so disappointed in the management of this Target - from now on I will be shopping in Flower Mound. read more

I will give props for this location improving since my last visit and the employees were a lot friendlier than last time too. I felt this visit was more like 3 1/2 stars actually. I don't go to Target too often because they are a bit more expensive than the other mass merchandisers for grocery items, but they have a great home décor section. We actually came here two weeks ago because we had been searching for an item with little luck and had found it on their website. The layout was a lot different than I remembered it, so I felt a little lost. I asked an employee who looked it up and I thought he was spouting bingo numbers at me with B45 and pointing to the other side of the store. We uncertainly made our way to the other side of the store, stopping halfway and asking someone where the B section was. She gave us a little more detail and she was luckily training someone so I was able to find out that the A section started at the immediate right entrance and worked its way to the left, while the numbers were front to back. Okay! It took two more employees to find out that it was actually B53. The home kitchen area was organized by brand instead of item, so it wasn't easy to find, but it was an educational experience nonetheless and we got what we came for. While searching for a few more items, I found their travel section and grocery section to be easier to navigate and the organization made a lot of sense. Unfortunately, there were a lot of empty spots wherever you looked despite the huge number of employees stocking. They got hit hard by the students returning to town is what I was told. I wish Target would have all their employees wearing the uniform shirt instead of just the employees at the registers. A lot of locations just tell their other employees to wear any red shirt. There are a lot of shades of red and I saw customers wearing red too, so I was a little anxious every time I asked for help that I was actually going to ask a customer, lol. Though I didn't use it this time, I did see they have an optical center up front and they had clean restrooms this time as well. read more

This is a nice looking Target store, great looking updates and has a very nice Starbucks inside. My only complaint is they took out the Pizza Hut Express! Why!? I loved that place, and would get a pizza and breadsticks every visit. They replaced it with a boring beer and wine storefront in the front, that has awful selection and makes no logistical sense considering they are right across the street to the vastly superior Total Wine and Specs Stores. read more

The store is always clean and I can usually find things ok. I have STOPPED using their pharmacy though! If they actually have my prescription ready 50% of the time they don't casually pull out the item and ask is this yours? They say really loudly, "Maam Is this your __??" Sometimes what you are picking up can be embarrassing! I had a year prescription to something and every time I would go pick it up this short plump lady with blonde hair would ask, "do you want a rewards card?" No thanks, I don't. " BUT MAAM..." and then goes into her sales pitch. After 6 months i gave in because I was sick of dealing with her. And if i forget the card I have to go through it all over again! I just want to pick up my stuff and go! Also you have to really ride them to get your insurance done! It took them 4 months to verify my insurance on my prescription! The staff has never been exceptionally rude or friendly. But more often than not you get cashiers that can't even read the numbers off the screen and give you the wrong change. They don't even have to calculate it! They just type in that i gave them a 20, then all they have to do is give you back what the computer says they should! It's better than Wal-Mart, very clean, parking lot is clean, but don't use the pharmacy and make sure to watch it when they give you change. read more

CHECK YOUR RECEIPT! A few days ago, I went to target to buy a curtain rod and curtain loops. Two separate items. I get up to the self checkout register and both items ring up $5-6 more than what they are marked in the aisle. I buy a LOT at target. No more. I mainly go there for diapers--I'm now going to look into buying the at Costco or just on amazon. I will not shop here again. Extremely angry to feel like target is trying to cheat me. Had it been one item, I might have written it off as a mistake. 2 separate items? That's a store trying to scam customers. Recently, I happened upon the end cap clearance section of Target. To my surprise, there were several candles of a reasonable price available for purchase. Unfortunately, the candles were a meager excuse for lighting, as well as not pleasing to the senses. I immediately returned them upon this realization. As Targets go, this is a pretty good one! I like that it is a Super Target, meaning that they have groceries on top of the usual Target fare. My girlfriend and I have commented about how friendly the service tends to be here. We find ourselves striking up conversations with our checkout person; much to the chagrin of the customers behind us. The store is generally clean and the pharmacy is run well. Prices can get a bit higher than the competing establishments around town, but you can't argue with the experience. read more

The cashiers are really ditzy. Nice, but ditzy. You can ask for a gift receipt, but check before you leave the stall. The store ran a 10% off promo back at Christmas, and it was supposed to be automatic. Our cashier didn't know to hit a special code, so I had to wait 10 minutes in the customer service area to get my 10% credited. The store staff often doesn't know where things are, and their organization methods are sometimes very odd. Little things like that make shopping here annoying as heck. read more

Clean, organized, well stocked, friendly staff, and short wait times for check out. They have great prices for produce in particular but everything else is pretty inexpensive as well. Their prices are very comparable to the walmart in town and if you happen to have a target debit card or credit card, the 5% off makes them frequently cheaper. read more

My new Target now that I moved to Denton. It's definitely big with plenty of helpful staff. Given the store's size clothing and bedding departments are really small There was a small selection of sweatpants and sweatshirts, and no hoodies at all. Considering cold fall weather just started I expected more inventory of something so basic. The bedding selection was small and at the expensive end - down comforters started at $99.00 and sheet sets at $49. At other Targets I've seen value lines available, down comforters at $49 and some sheet sets for $29. There are usually some cute things in women's clothing but it was a bust here. With all the square footage in that store I still wonder what's taking up so much space. I love Target but I couldn't connect with this one. Still, I'm giving it four stars. It is, after all, a Target. read more
