After our hometown CVS, this is the backup CVS for us. Over the years it has gone thru many renovation and looks really slick and organized as it stands currently. Just got whole parking lot paved recently too. Pretty much as all CVS good, aisles are clearly visible and aisle marking can be seen right from entrance. They have photo printing section too. Checkout has two fully functional self checkout. We buy lots of children medicine, cold and flu meds, first aid items, shower products from CVS. During this visit, I saw a lot of products on discount and having deals. The pharmacy here is also very good. I came for couple of vaccine appointments. My Experience Has Always Been Excellent I've been using the CVS pharmacy in Cresskill for about six years now, and I honestly only have great things to say. The pharmacy team always greets me by name, and they've consistently treated me with kindness and respect. My prescriptions are always ready on time, they communicate well, and they never make me feel rushed. I even switched from Walgreens to this CVS because I felt so much more comfortable here. After my surgery a couple of months ago, they would check in and ask how I was doing every time I came in -- that meant a lot. They truly care, and it shows. I know there are some negative reviews, but my personal experience has been the complete opposite. The pharmacy staff here has always been friendly, helpful, and professional. This CVS consistently has EXPIRED Food! I ordered through DoorDash and two Skinnypop Popcorns had expired in December. It is now the end of March. Poppycock Popcorn expired in February. Where is the health department? You would think they would at least check their own brand, Gold Label for expirations but their nuts are expired very often as well. If you wear glasses don't forget them or you'll get home and have to return anything edible. read more

This CVS has a Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM). Yesterday the PBM tried to charge me full cost. She falsely stated that "none of your prescriptions are covered by your insurance company". This is a common ploy and it is illegal. I submitted a formal complaint against her. read more

The local CVS is the second biggest in the area, right behind the Dumont one next to the train tracks. They're always clean, fully stocked, and has a nice staff. Prices and deals are always in line with over CVS's and they even have an ATM. Parking lot is a good size for this place too 100% recommend coming here for any drug or retail need, they won't disappoint you read more

A friend ordered a special print of my father who passed away earlier this week. When I arrived to pick up the image for the ceremony they said they had tried to call (they were lying, they didn't) and they were out of the foam backing and the website shouldn't have taken it and blah blah blah. Sorry, sometimes failure is unacceptable. Your customer service was horrific and your execution was even worse. You should be out of business for your incompetence. FAIL. read more

The woman in the pharmacy (not sure she was the Pharmacist, although I would hope not considering her awful attitude) - her name was Jamilla or Jalilla or something - absolutely rude and dismissive when I approached the counter simply asking if they had any OTC covid tests available. The worst part was the 2-3 people working around her seemed unphased which tells me she is naturally this rude to all the customers. I worked at CVS for years and I would have never gotten away with treating my customers like that but I also have common human decency so I just dont treat people that way anyway... read more

The Tenafly CVS store, though not huge, is well-stocked, neat and clean. Employees are considerate, friendly and efficient, including those in the pharmacy department. CVS's system of alerting customers to the status of medications ready for refill and pickup (via text or phone call, at customer's choice) is excellent. read more

This CVS has the nastiest employees I have ever had to deal with and it has been an issue since the store opened a few years ago. If you need a manager, the cashier often has to run outside to bring someone in from their smoke break. Today I was told I could not return items because they were on sale, even though my receipt clearly said "Returns with receipt thru 10/26/2014. The rude woman at the counter just basically told me tough. When I asked to speak to a manager she wandered to the back of the store and came back and told me he also says no. When I asked her to call him the register he came up and said it's their policy but it is not posted anywhere. When I called the customer service number they also told me tough luck. read more

Well stocked store but there was no manager in site when the checkout line grew to over 7 customers who were waiting. There were 4 additional registers available but they said they didn't have any paper to run them. Looks like the management was doing their job!!! Totally unacceptable & inexcusable!!! read more

Pharmacy -- terrible service. I waited 20 minutes while the pharmacist gave medical advice that she is absolutely not qualified to give to some woman. Then instead of helping me she wandered off to help some other random people. I'm sure she,s bored putting pills in bottles, but she should have worked harder in school if she didn't want to end up behind the counter in CVS. I don't know what's worse, having to depend on CVS to give customer service training to a bunch of second rate pharmacists or the idea that someone who couldn't qualify for medical school is dispensing superficial medical advice to someone who may have a real problem. The idiot who wasn't able to figure out how to take a prescription was a young Indian American woman. Avoid her. She should be waiting tables. read more
