The pharmacy has a new system where customers type their name in. When it was time to pick up my medication, the technician walked up without speaking, greeting, or identifying herself, and announced, "Whoever is at this register, your medicine is ready." I had to confirm that she was referring to me. When I addressed the issue, she attempted to justify calling me "whoever." That is dismissive and unprofessional, especially in a healthcare setting. New systems do not replace basic customer service, courtesy, or respect. Staff should properly address patients and wear identification. Please do better. read more

Go to any other pharmacy unless you want the poorest customer service and treatment in Columbia. Had doctor send a prescription to this location because I was staying there during the day with a hospital patient. They did not see the prescription in their system, went back just before closing and they still did not see it and seemed not to care. The prescription was for a common antibiotic and I showed them in MyChart that the doctor had input it as well as the doctor's name. No concern they would not do anything. I asked for one pill for the evening as prescribed and the problem could be resolved in the morning. No to doing that. Had it been a narcotic they certainly should not do it but no excuse for not doing it with all the information available. CVS culture is not what it use to be. read more

The store as a whole is great. The pharmacy, however, is severely understaffed to be in a downtown area near a university. There's is always a ridiculous line (30 min at least). The scripts take forever to get and you frequently have to wait on the phone for another hour. The people are nice, but CVS is failing their pharmacy staff by not giving them help. When i call the pharmacy, they are rude. I know you're busy, but so am i. I don't want to call you either. I wouldn't have if it weren't absolutley necessary. I have to call you because you have the WORST website in the world. You are always auto-refilling my stuff even tho i set it to not do that, then you fill it and stalk me with texts to pick it up. look elsewhere. so many other pharmacies to chose from without absurd wait times. this has to be the busiest (or most understaffed) pharmacy i've ever been to. i've been coming here the past 2 years and have never waited fewer than 30 mins to receive a service. it's usually more like 45 min - hour wait. even if you call, you should expect to be put on hold for at least 30 minutes. repeat after me: "if i come to this pharmacy, i accept the fact that i will be burning an hour of my busy life waiting. if i come to this pharmacy, i acknowledge the fact that i may be turned away because it is too busy. if i come to this store, i acknowledge the fact that there are several other pharmacies in my area that will have me in and out with my medication in fewer than 10 minutes." that is all. thank you. read more

Pharmacist is nice and helpful but the people at the counter like to list out your drugs so half the store can hear. Then act like your weird for caring. I will call or use the drive thru no long use their inside counter. read more

Everything is always well-stocked and organized. Great store. Has all the basics- even some grocery items, birthday cards, seasonal items. I docked one star for being pricey. Definitely need to shop the sales. The pharmacy employees are friendly and efficient. read more

I've not yet had any problems with this pharmacy. All of my prescriptions have gone through and are prepared in a timely manner. Prices are a bit on the high end, but that's campus CVS for ya. Worth it to save gas money. read more

After being a loyal customer of this CVS for years, spending hundreds of dollars a month here, my recent interaction with the customer service is making me rethink patronizing this store. The manager was condescending and belittling towards me, and caused a scene over a concern that I brought to her attention. Never in my life have I been spoken to so poorly, to the extend that her employees were mouthing "I'm sorry" to me, as their manager was raising her voice at me... over my concerns. read more

You know it really sucks when you are an avid and devoted customer to cvs in general but especially this one on assembly. I had prescriptions there and regularly bought supplies from this particular store. So to my surprise no mater how good of a customer you are you still are not treated well. Yes I understand that I'm not supposed to park in the cvs if I'm not going to cvs. Funny thing was I was going to but I decided to pull my prescriptions and all business I had with this store. The shuttle for my apartment complex was full and I had no other of getting to school. I was going to grab some groceries from the cvs after my 50 minute class but when I got back my car was gone. Instead of giving this cvs my business I had to go get my car from a towing company in LEXINGTON. Not to mention that the towing was extremely rude to me, but honestly when aren't they rude. To wrap this up, I will never give my business to this particular store again and try my best to not even use a cvs. They show no care for valued and frequent customers and I hope people can realize that. read more
