I wish i coukd give negative stars.. Iwent to Love's to get two drive tires. I arrived at 7am and left at 1245p. The reason is because the tech there has no clue of what he was doing. First off, why are you wearing shades when it is dark outside and driving around with them on around the parking lot? Second, he guided me into the bay from the back of my tractor lol smh.. then he continued to wear shades in the bay while attempting to change the tires. Not only did he put the new tires separate from each other but he put my chrome rim on the inside which made him have to take the tires back off the rim and start over.. During this whole process he kept stopping to talk and text on his phone.. So with him holding me up for unnecessary reasons i missed out on delivering my load. If not for Gary, the manager from Newberry that was helping them out I might still be there.. So to Gary, thank you so much for your help and professionalism because apparently the tech and the manager inside the truck stop were no help at all to you or the business. Three drivers came and left because of the techs. And the restroom at the shop was horrible. Very aweful experience.. read more

What is there to say, great food, clean and numerous bathrooms. Plenty of places to walk my dog, including a small dog run, and plenty of gas pumps... we always stop at Love's if we need a stop. Having McDonalds there is a plus. read more

Nowadays alot of people have fell on hard times and living their life the best way possible. I just moved back to SC and unfortunately I'm currently staying in my car on days that the money doesn't add up for me to get a hotel room. I choose this local truck stop as my end of the day stop. In a month's time, maybe even a little longer I have spent countless amount of money with this particular company and tonight ended that. The night shift worker with the curly hair has the worse ATTITUDE POSSIBLE..she straight out mean and nasty. And to not only be told that this is not a hotel and to watch her wake up countless amount of people that she doesn't know their reasons why they are parked either, threatening to have people towed because someone decided they just needed a safe place to park for the night is disturbing. For the most part, she was aware of my existence because I had to wait damn near an hour for yet another shower I paid for. So there was ample time to make it known there was an issue with us parking over night. But again, this ain't our first night. But trust me, I won't spend another dime in Love's because tonight's action was Uncalled for. If people aren't causing an issue to the business, there is no reason to be that way towards regulars. Sometimes there is actual families, people with kids out there. To know that a person would "ticket and tow" you not knowing your circumstances is sad. Especially a paying customer(s) that don't bother nobody. We don't leave no mess. And there is NO SIGN up that says they only allow an hour parking. Unjustice don't prosper and you wonder why Noone wants to work night shift. Who really wants to be around a person like that..she barely speaks but always on the phone carrying on. Face always tight and down right unapproachable. But this is your idea of customer service? Let's work on happier approachable people, cleaner bathrooms, and as much as she clean that drink and grill area, the fountain machine still nasty and most of the drinks are always flat and the microwave is still not the cleanest. read more

Extremely poor customer service given by employee Hector from this location at 2015 Bluff Rd. After waiting for over 10 minutes at the propane tank to get a refill. Hector finally came out To fill my propane tank. After taking him about five minutes to hook the hose up to my propane tank. He turned on the machine and said that it was going extremely slow and wasn't filling because he didn't have the "right tool". Rather than apologizing, For The inconvenience of keeping a customer waiting for about 20 minutes total and not being able to fill the customer request, Hector Got an attitude and got verbally rude. Highly recommend loves administration take a look at any video recordings they may have of this ( Oct. 14th 4:45 pm) Experience was so bad I will not do business with this truck stop again. I stop here all the time and get food at Chesters chicken. This time 5/19 at 5:30pm. We were the only ones there. I orders the chicken snack and the lady said it will be 15 minutes we don't have dark. I told her that was fine I will wait. She then said it will take 25 minutes. (Remember she told me 15 minutes) I said well can i get two pieces of the white meat she said very rudely "White doesn't come in that snack. I told her i know its fine. She then told me they were out of white meat. I then ask "can i get two apples pies to take home to my wife? " yep!!! You guessed it there were out of apple pie. I like Love's. This one was consistent with the brand. Very easy access with no sharp turns or major intersections. It's ideal if you're towing or pulling a large trailer. The pump area is spacious and has a very high cover. It's busy but it's still clean. Oh, and the gas is cheap. I did not need to go into the convenience store today. After spending time in Charlotte, we stopped by on our way returning south to Florida. A rest to stretch our legs after filling up the tank was also necessary. There's a tall electronic sign advertising the diesel and unleaded fuel prices was too tempting right after the Memorial Day holiday to pass up - unleaded gasoline was twenty cents a gallon cheaper than any other station. The restrooms were clean and the truck stop had lots of cold drinks and snacks were displayed strategically around the interior. However the prices were outrageous - $3 for a small yogurt? Not for me. Guess they needed to make up for the cheap gas. read more

The shower that I was assigned to was clean, BUT there was no towel, wash cloth, or floor mate in there. I had to go to the desk clerk to ask her for those items. Check your camera ! Had the pleasure of dealing with COLBY this morning. I guess he started out mad because after waiting a couple of minutes at the counter with nobody to help me, I calmly said "HELLO" to let someone know I was there - I get it, it's 3:30AM. Here's my issue though - I walked in with $9 in cash. I asked for Marlboro Light 100's. He tells me they are $7 and change. I hand him $8 and He hands me a pack of "Gold Label" 100s and I told him this was the wrong pack. He tells me the pack "has been redesigned." I repeated - no, that's a different pack. He continues to argue and I tell him to just give me a refund and I'll go somewhere else - no biggie. He does NOT like that. He angrily processes the refund (getting more and more frustrated because he can't get the POS to work), hands me $8 in one's back and snatches my extra $1 out of my hands. When I ask him to give me my other dollar back that he took from me, he tells me to get out of the store and that I can come back and deal with the manager! I literally stop here every day to buy the SAME pack of cigarettes. I am honestly shocked - but I guess I'm just glad I'm not Colby lol. I'll be back in the AM to see your manager, boo! read more

Men's restroom toilets were full of sh---t. The most unkempt Love's restroom I have ever been in. Two cashiers seemed most uninterested to call a manager or to say "sorry, we will take care of the problem, thanks for keeping us informed." Man I love this place. They have quite the assortment of random things, from pimp canes, to a suit of armor. It's a fun place to stop, and just look at all the strange items. They have good prices too. Next time you're in the area grab a bite and a Baja hoodie. They also have run of the mill gas station stuff too, and there's McDonald's, Chester's Chicken, and great snacks. read more

Love's is a great spot to make a pit stop. The gas prices are comparable to other places in the area. The store is large and well lit. The aisles are large and well organized. They have plenty of souvenirs, college hats, and travel essentials. The restroom is large and clean. read more

Literally was copped an attitude by the jerk clerk because she didn't smoke and know what Marlboro light regulars were? I don't smoke... she scoffed telling me I don't know how to order them? Not in 30 years have I had an issue buying cigarettes until bon qui qui came into my life. ha ha ha. She was a skinny African American girl with black skinny wide framed glasses. I always stop here it's really busy but the there's lots of parking and you can get gas and something to eat at the same time. The coffees always fresh and they have 2 all beef hotdogs for $3.00. The place is clean and big bathrooms. Also McDonalds and Chester's is attached. read more

5/15 8:20am. The person behind the main counter is most likely the most rude person I've come across at this Love's. I probably stop here 4-5 times per week and normally get at least a friendly response from the people working. When asked about the price of an item, first she looked me up and down and then called a manager to say "this guy is questioning the price". The " Manager" says well it's $68. When I pointed out the sign right behind her she said well that's the wrong item. The First Lady say well that's what you asked for. There are 2 other gas stations on that corner.
