DETAILS I see old reviews here. Unfortunately, all too often people only submit reviews when they have something to complain about. Not me. As someone who travels frequently I have interacted with at least a dozen different CVS pharmacies over the last five years in different cities and states. I've had consistently good service at all of them. As for the specific location in Cocoa, I've been going here since May, 2021 and have received excellent service over the phone, in the drive-through lane, and inside at the pharmacy itself. Oh, and I received my COVID booster from here as well just last week. I have never had a problem with this location despite their having to also deal with my consolidating Rx orders from other CVS locations where I'd previously had my meds filled in other cities. They are aces!

I've noticed since the pandemic that this location has been slowly declining. The pharmacists and some of the staff are just not helpful and have attitudes when trying to get issues resolved. They used to have an amazing pharmacist and he apparently was transferred out. Today's visit has caused me to transfer all of prescriptions from CVS. I have new insurance for me and my son. I've used this insurance for my own meds within the past month. Today I was told that it wasn't working for my son and they didn't have time to deal with insurance stuff. Really? I was told that I needed to call my insurance company to see what the deal was. Well, I took the same insurance over to Walgreens and everything worked fine. Buyer beware.

A female pharmacist told my roommate that she would fill it right away, but DAVIN - a male pharmacist - snapped, "NO!" I called the store the next day and spoke to a manager (Janice) and explained that my phone was not compatible with the CVS app so that I couldn't request Delivery (the pharmacy staff said I could request delivery on their app) and that I had no way to get there. The manager said she would try to get it delivered for me and would call me back. Three hours later, I looked online and saw that they had not even gotten the prescription ready yet and they would be closing soon. I called the manager again and she said that the prescription could not be delivered because it is a controlled substance. IT IS A VERY MILD SLEEPING PILL THAT I NEED DESPERATELY FOR INSOMNIA. THEY DRAG THEIR FEET EVERY MONTH FILLING IT. I WILL BE TAKING MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!

These medications were recommended by Mr. Miller, and he also wrote down the names of the medications for me. At the CVS store, I encountered a very young and enthusiastic male employee. He not only helped me find the over-the-counter medications I needed but also provided detailed information about which flavors were better and how to use them. Due to my urgency to get home and relieve my daughter's symptoms, I didn't ask for the young gentleman's name at that moment. However, I am very grateful for his friendly and attentive service. I hope that CVS continues to have more employees like him, as not every CVS employee is as outstanding.

I called the CVS that was close to our Airbnb and we have figured out a way to go ahead and refill the medicine and which if it wasn't for then my cruise would've been a horrible experience. They would call me and the medications would be ready and waiting for me at the time they said it would be ready. Staff in the front of the store and in the pharmacy were always friendly, smiling, said hello or some nice greeting. People seemed to enjoy their jobs. Over the last two years, service has been spotty. I have begun to just use the drive-thru. Certain pharmacy staff act like they are forced to be there and to serve you. Instead of a smile, you are often greeted with a big sigh as they shuffle slowly to the counter. They say the words, but there is no feeling of any sincerity behind the words. Now, my meds are not on automatic scheduling and the excuse is, "the system is old and sometimes just plain broken." I have a regular medication that is renewed monthly through CVScaremark pharmacy and every month it is not in stock and needs to be specially ordered. It is just not the pleasant professional experience it used to be. I pick up medications at the Wal-Mart pharmacy for a woman I take care of and they are dramatically more professional in their customer service and explanations.
