Today, once again, the new owner, Kumar, messed up on a prescription that clearly had 2 refills left and he told my new pharmacy that I didn't have those refills. So that leaves more work for me again, to have to take a photo of my prescription and call the doctor to send a new script to my new pharmacy. I believe this incident today, was initiated by Kumar because I left and went to another pharmacy because of his constant mistakes. Long behold, my doctor said I did INDEED have the 2 refills and he send them to the new pharmacy. My friend had his credit card charged for three times the amount of a prescription that could have been given to him generically. Kumar is trying to make as much money as he can off of his customers, rather than do the work of searching for the cheaper prices, as Mark used to do. Mark was wonderful. My friend had to go down there and correct the situation. This same friend had pills missing from a prescription and when he called Kumar, Kumar got testy with my friend. My friend had to go down there to straighten that out as well. About a month ago or so, Kumar at Gary's gave my brother the wrong medication in the right bottle- thank GOD my brother checked because he could have died with his heart condition. Kumar also shorted my brother 20 pills on another prescription and tried to blame one of the other pharmacists when my mom asked what happened. Do yourself a favor and do NOT go to this pharmacy. It is a crying shame because when Mark owned it - you had a wonderful old-fashioned mom and pop place. I miss it so much. It is now nothing but an unorganized horrific nightmare.

I was asked a few standard questions by the pharmacist and by the time I was done answering them my prescription was filled. There was no have a seat and it will be X amount of minutes. It was that fast. The people working here are so nice and helpful. Plus my prescription that I need to take every day was way cheaper than what I was usually paying for it. I am so happy that I made the switch to All Star Pharmacy and I will now be a regular customer. I definitely recommend this place.

The personal touch is what makes the difference here. The staff are helpful and kind. If you come down with something, rest assured you can find any remedies you could possibly need in this store. Their selection of greeting cards, small gifts, etc. for an occasion is also very convenient. I always shop here for my cards and have since I was young. It blows CVS out of the water. Recently, my physician introduced me to Middle Village Pharmacy where I picked up a new script that very same day. Since that time, I've made several visits to Middle Village and have found ownership and staff to be very communicative and helpful, providing a personable, one-on-one relationship, making all of my transactions pleasant ones. I now perceive Middle Village Pharmacy like a country store, where all one's needs are under one roof. Staff and ownership address me my name and are always eager to help with answering my questions. Frankly, it is a pleasure to interact with Middle Village Pharmacy as they do not keep you waiting if they are on the phone or, in the process of filling scripts for other customers. Now, I actually look forward to conducting my health care needs with Middle Village Pharmacy and feel welcomed as a part of their "family" as I'm confident you will as well.

DON'T KNOW HOW TO EDIT MY ORIGINAL REVIEW, BUT AFTER TRYING TO TRANSFER MY RX's elsewhere, I have…read moreto rate The Medicine Shoppe only a 1! They denied having refills for my medications to transfer that I found out later from my doctors was NOT true! They wasted my time (at least 3 calls to the new pharmacy to determine status of transfer and the new pharmacy trying to access my Rx's by falsing stating they had no refills when the doctors had recently called them in on multiple Rx's.) Found them rigid and difficult to coordinate multiple medications. Asked them to stop automatic refills so I could time my medications so I could pick up all/most of them at one time, but they would continue to automatically fill and I would have medications waiting weeks on end because of it. I would get reminder calls to pick up and tell them I wanted to wait a week to pick up all when they were all ready to avoid multiple pick up dates and I'd get another reminder call the next week about the waiting medications. This happened multiple times. Was given misinformation several times, telling me to call my physician for refills they already had or that a refill was holding up an order when it was actually the timing of the next refill. I felt I spent a lot of time trying to coordinate my medications with them and just couldn't get a system down that worked. The fact that they don't have online access made it particularly dificult in my case where I have a lot of medications to coordinate and the only way to know what was what was to have to call the pharmacy each time (and in my cases as mentioned I was given the wrong information several times)
