I've been receiving my prescriptions here for over 5 years now and the staff has always been helpful and kind.

I find the personnel very helpful, especially their manager. The pharmacy has always been very polite and helpful.

This CVS Pharmacy is conveniently located in the Cedar Lee district of Cleveland Heights. It's close to the main attractions on Lee Rd and the local Cleveland Heights High School. I am a frequent visitor at this store and will attest to the fact that's it's a complete mess! Service: The service is generally friendly. I feel that it improved in the last few months. Still, it's very challenging to find help at checkout (not well staffed) or on the sales floor. I always opt in to self checkout. Local Inventory: You can purchase Cleveland or Cleveland Heights specific inventory - Cleveland Heights Tigers and John Carroll merch, and Cleveland Magazine. Issues at this store: - The refrigerators are frequently out of commission. Remain mindful of this when purchasing any frozen foods or ice cream. They just threw away all ice cream a few days ago due to broken refrigerator. It seemed to be broken for weeks. - The inventory replenishment at this store is never ending. There are constantly empty shelves, boxes in the aisles, and things obstructing the aisles. - There are significant loss prevention issues/remediations at this store. A lot of the items are locked and require assistance. This makes the shopping experience a pain. Even shopping totes are loss prevention secured. - Parking lot experience is terrible. The parking lot is not well lit at night and feels very sketchy. I dread going here late in the evening. The parking lot is also frequently not available because neighboring businesses utilize all parking spots. It's such a problem that even the local city group has this as a hot topic. It's terrible. It's also complex to enter and exit the parking lot during heavy traffic hours or restricted turn times (onto Lee Road). - Cleanliness and safety are a concern at this store. There is are a lot of folks asking for money at this store (even inside the store doors). The store is unclean and outdated. The doors are constantly broken. It just doesn't look up to the CVS standard in any way. The only positives are the location of this store and late night hours (not sure if 24 hours or midnight, they are fluid). It's quick to drop in for bare necessities. Other than that, I'm looking for other options for drugstores. If you stop in, I highly recommend checking the store out during the day. read more

Always receive the best of service at this pharmacy and front end. Head pharmacist Beth is amazing. If her pharmacy doesn't have it she makes sure she can assist in finding a cvs that does. I the CVS Pharmacy located at 2179 Lee Road in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. The pharmacist was extremely helpful when a senior family member contracted COVD and insurance wouldn't cover the antiviral PAXLOVID. After a few diligent calls, she got the approval. One of the managers was extremely helpful getting me an advertised item that the app showed was in stock, but hadn't made it to the shelf. He ent out of his way to retrieve it from the back room. Like many retailers, staff shortages are a problem. But I've learned that the self checkout terminals are easy to use. I'm grateful for this convenience & service. read more

Feels like a neighborhood pharmacy, and it is. Pharmacists always helpful and caring. Techs are kind and engaging.

I don't love this CVS. I fill my prescriptions here regularly because of its proximity, but if it weren't the closest pharmacy to me, I would be avoiding it. I refill a medication regularly that requires a couple of days notice to refill, and numerous times, I've been told, somewhat discourteously, "You'll have to wait a couple of days." Usually, I say, "Sounds great. I'll see you in a couple of days." Because I get it. Being a pharm tech takes patience; guests aren't always kind. But then, invariably, when I return to CVS, now familiar with how things work, I let them know where my prescription is (they always store big bags in one particular place) and the pharm tech simply doesn't believe me and spends several minutes looking for it everywhere but where I mentioned it would be. I think capping it all off, as another poster mentioned, is the numerous text messages you get from the store. This may be a systemic CVS issue, but it bothers me immensely to be texted 10 times in a week to be told my prescription is ready. I've asked them to turn off these text reminders, and no one has acquiesced. I'll return here, but reluctantly. read more

I don't understand how CVS on Lee Rd could have anything but great reviews. I've been going there to pick up from the pharmacy a few times a month for three years. The pharmacy staff are always helpful, knowledgeable and they are nice (to everyone). Same goes for the front end folks and the manager too. I take care of a family member and the pharmacists have even consulted with us to prevent a negative drug interaction. 5 stars. read more

Positives: Good selection of salon hair care products. Small parking lot on the side. I have never seen it full. The people working here are generally friendly and competent. This is somewhat different from other CVS's I have been to in other cities. Convenient location--right at the Cedar/Lee intersection. Very approachable from Cedar Rd. Negatives: A little sketchy at night! Though it's not hard to find a space in the parking lot, there are a lot of bad/weird drivers that linger. read more

This pharmacy is the worst. The staff is so rude, short and unhelpful. They will not go out of their way to help you find discounts for medication. It's like pulling teeth when you need help with these people. They make you feel bad for asking for help. It seems like everything is a hassle for them. They have gotten my medication wrong on numerous accounts. I have even heard a staff member talking about me as if I did not hear her conversation. read more

The pharmacy is a nightmare! They leave your prescription meds on the counter where all the others customers can see them- MAJOR HIPAA violation is going on right here. I had a customer waiting behind me (older dude) making a comment about my meds. On top of that, the price of my meds was off, so I said before paying that they need to apply my insurance. The girl working pushed the story that the price is correct without even checking. I got on the phone with my previous CVS pharmacist who said right away to go back because they didn't apply my insurance. When I mention that to the manager, the answer was just "OK"! Nothing more! I will go out of my way to avoid this place. read more

Yeah....so I know I'm the Duchess and everything but only because it's literally around the corner from my house and - what can I say - a girl sometimes needs some pantyhose in a pinch......or Doritos. But anyway, this place pretty much sucks. The only reason it doesn't get 1 star is that the pharmacy actually is kind of fast and decent, although I've only filled things there a couple of times. Also, they do have most everything you'd need. Greeting card selection is decent and If you've ever been dying for a hula hoop at 4am, they've got 'em! The line is almost always long with too few people checking out. This CVS definitely has a sketch-factor to it as well, especially at night and after the high school lets out. They usually have a cop stationed in the store on school afternoons, if that tells you anything. Usually can find a guy trying to hide a 2X4 of Colt 45 or the like under his shirt, that sort of thing. Park here at your own risk. Small parking lot with people driving criss-cross it, and you're lucky if you get out without getting hit by somebody. Overall, if you are in the area and need something, they'll likely have it. But nobody would ever go in this store if there were another option close-by. read more

Terrible experience while filling a prescription!! First of all, I don't need 10 text messages a day, saying YOUR PHARMACIST HAS FILLED YOUR PRESCRIPTION. That's all it says in big caps. Seriously, 1 text is all that's needed for a reminder. Sometimes life happens and I can't get our there to pick up the same day. Second, the pharmacy staff is extremely rude. The snotty attitude, the eye rolling. Seriously? They most unprofessional staff I've ever come across. I had a question about a medication and it's effects it would have with something else I'm taking and the they blew me off. I had to call my doctor to find out I couldn't take it. BECAUSE I WOULD DIE! I'll be switching pharmacies. Avoid this one if you can. read more

I really like the sales, but normally the prices are too high. Service is pretty good. Sometime the customers are a little ill. (Yeah, they be illin' sometimes in this joint) I saw a woman eyeball a grandma for trying to teach her kid to do right. Grandma was right. The woman should have thanked her. read more

They're open 24 hours. Never underestimate the importance of a drugstore that's open 24 hours...especially when every other store near Case closes by 10PM! However, I think the management underestimates the importance of speedy customer service. There was a great woman in the pharmacy who was super competent and organized. However, I surmise that she made all of the rest of the staff look bad and they subsequently conspired to have her rendered to one of the CIA's secret prisons or something, because she's no longer at this location. Every now and then, the service is good (such as when the staff helped us print out a small picture for $0.69 rather than charging us $7.00 for a passport pic), but most of the time, the lines are long and there is rarely more than one cashier up front. I go to Walgreens most of the time now--their service isn't much better, but at least their prices are lower! Plus, trying to find a spot in the parking lot is trying to play dodge-em with real cars. It's gotten to the point where I prefer to park across the street whenever possible. read more

My receipt says "helped by" Marisa but in reality I was not helped at all. Not only was I not greeted upon entering. I noticed shortly after I was being watched by multiple associates as I was shopping the aisle where the textured hair products are kept. Which also happens to be in clear eye sight from the cashier area and is right next to the door. Once I made my purchase as intended I asked the cashier if the have a LP issue considering they were watching me. I never in my life have experienced anything like this. The customer service was terrible. Maybe instead of stalking me and watching me and pretending to clean up the shelves how about you ask next time if I'm doing okay? If I need help finding anything rather than making me feel completely uncomfortable. read more

Came to get a flu shot and waited an hour. I promptly completed the paperwork but had to wait an hour! Not sure why they have no respect for my time! I recommend going elsewhere! read more

A full 15 minutes waiting on the phone to confirm if they received my doctors orders. That's a harsh thing to do to a sick person. They must be very understaffed. read more

I avoid this CVS like the plague. Nighttime cashier screws around too much with his boys, waiting time in line are 15-20 minutes while you stand there like an idiot because loverboy has to flirt with all his homegirls. Stood in line with beer once for 20 minutes to get to the counter for loverboy to tell me he couldn't sell to me. Average checkout time at the register is 54 seconds per guest so that means if there are 5 people in line you WILL WAIT about 5 minutes to checkout. Shelves are bare at night and gravely understocked. Just a complete waste of my time and a waste of life that works in there. Then they try to sell you on the CVS bonus bucks. Who cares? Rite -Aid is so much better. So is Walgreens. Don't bother with this ghetto place. read more

This is a really busy location, open 24 hours. Often difficult to find parking. That being said, this location functions almost as a convenience store for the neighborhood. It has a good selection of soft drinks, beer, wine, ice cream and some limited frozen foods. It has a nice selection of hair care, and over the counter drugs. Nice sales on a weekly basis. Usually well stocked. Also, nice seasonal department that changes. Good location to get things you need to get through the week. read more

I have been going to this CVS for the past 4 years, and I consistently get poor service from the pharmacy. My questions and concerns are usually met with rudeness and incompetence. I often drive an extra 10-15 minutes to go to other CVS stores in the area. read more

I LOVE CVS. I have no idea why, but I'm a CVS addict and I usually get things for fairly low prices with their sales, coupons, and ExtraBucks. The reason for the 2? Even though this is my most frequented location, I hate coming here. 1. The sliding doors wait until the last minute to open. Weird complaint, I know. But when I'm in a rush, they just. won't. move. 2. There are a bunch of signs all over the doors that make me feel unsafe from the get-go. 3. Cashiers are always distracted. One time, I wanted to switch my payment method and the older woman at the register was completely in another world, yelling at hooligans to understand what I was saying. Then, when she snapped out of it, she just told me she knew what was going on and my payment went through on the wrong debit card, despite what I was trying to say to her. Frustrating! 4. The parking lot is a catastrophe! Getting in there is fine, and hopefully you find a parking spot that isn't partially taken up by another vehicle, doesn't have garbage in it, and isn't being loitered in or by. Once you try to back out of a spot, the threat of hitting someone or something increases largely and then, you have to find a way to turn onto either Lee or Cedar, which can get ugly quickly. 5. Boxes are rarely unpacked. Maybe this is just bad timing on my part, but I have to try to climb around stock to get to the shelves. Meanwhile, staff members are yelling at hooligans (read: #3), wandering around eyeballing customers, or sassing each other. I come so often because: 1. It's close! Anyways, regardless of the hassles I have to put up with for some nail polish or Funyuns, I still keep coming back. read more

just had a horrible experience and I'm never going back. Their automated system called to say my prescription was ready in the morning, when I go 4 hours later I still have to wait for them to fill it. Then they wind up giving me only a portion of it. I go right back in and tell them and instead of giving me the rest they say it'll be a few minutes. Well, apparently a few minutes means 60. Literally an hour I had to stand there waiting. Man, this place is the pits and cvs is one of my favorite stores. They are a bit pricey but it balances out especially with all their coupons and bonus savings if you have a cvs card. Anyhoo, this one in particular is always filthy. From the outside parking lot to the entry doors. Nine times out of ten the trash can at the door is full or overflowing with trash, who wants to spend their hard earned money at a place like this? I know there is a lot of traffic here and also a high school nearby.. So hire one or two of those teenagers to keep this place clean. Sheesh. I only patronize this particular cvs because they are 24hrs and sometimes the only store open in the area. However, I will honestly try not to visit this location any more. read more

This pharmacy is a nightmare. I have never had a good experience filling a script. After painful back surgery, I had a legitimate prescription for pain medications and they treated me like I was a criminal. They are always rude and the costumer service is awful. They try to ring up multiple costumers at once, so privacy is not protected and no one is making eye contact and it's impossible to get anyone's attention. The wait is always horrendous. Another time I had an out of state prescription, and when I brought it they said they did not have it in stock so it would be a few days. When I came back, I had to wait an hour for them to fill and they stamped that they had filled it, but then they called me over and told me they did not fill out of state prescription and handed me back a prescription that had a stamp that said "filled" on it without any medication. Of course, when I was there a few days prior, the prescription was also out of state. It was also out of state before I waiting an hour for them not to fill it. So at that point I was completely out of medication and I had to drive all over Ohio to find someone to fill the prescription that said "filled" and who didn't mind it was out of state. They were extremely rude and unapologetic about the situation. Go to Walgreen's on Mayfield. They are so much nicer and competent. read more
