Good luck trying to speak to a live human being!!! The number one prerequisite to be employed at this store is to be as rude and obnoxious. No one is willing to pick up a phone and engage with customers, answer questions, show any signs of interest in being of assistance. Never seen anything like it in my life. CVS CLAWSON MI. I ordered Vitamins to be delivered to me, it was advertised as BOGO free. I hit the quantity as 1. When it was delivered it only had 1 bottle of Vitamin D! I called customer support and was told because I didn't put 2 quantity I didn't get the offer. I called Customer Service and was told because I didn't enter quantity 2 I was basically out of luck. I feel the offer was misrepresentative. He refused to send me the free bottle! So I lost out of the opportunity! I'm a Senior Citizen ripped off by CVS!! Uneducated pharmacy personnel, inept, inexcusable medication lengths of time for refills. For those of us who require 18 gauge size syringe needles, and have been purchasing them from CVS....they now say they cannot get them from their supplier. Be advised that Amazon sells a box of 100, delivered to your doorstep within 3 days for less than fifteen bucks. read more

This is the closest CVS to me so I come here frequently, mostly to pick up prescriptions. I had been using Meijer until they didn't have prescriptions in for multiple months, but CVS rarely is out of mine :). My only complaint about this CVS is that the corner it's on (Crooks/14) is very busy, so sometimes it's hard to get out (and don't even think about taking a left onto 14 during rush hour, lol). It is so exhausting that this pharmacy can not get a single prescription ready efficiently. First, their new app was refilling my prescriptions too early and my insurance was having a fit. Second, and very disconcerting, is that every single time we need antibiotics - you almost have to call before you go to pick it up unless you want to wait 30 minutes. Doesn't matter if the prescription was called A whole day earlier, they will first tell you they either did not get it or that they just received the order (again, even if it was called in a day earlier). I've literally had it up to my eyeballs with the ineptitude and I'm looking for a new pharmacy ASAP. read more

They have a problem with their frozen foods refrigeration and this is the fourth half-gallon of ice cream that I bought that's been melted and then refrozen and it's all icy and hard even on the bottom. I keep going back to the CVS because this is where my prescriptions are, but I'm going to transfer them across the street to Rite Aid because I want to be able to buy a half-gallon of ice cream when I want it and not have a tub of melted ice --wasted money! read more

Worst CVS I've ever been to. I order photos online and went to pick them up the next day. They tried to charge me $8 more than my online receipt stated. Finally after about ten minutes they figured it out and charged me the correct amount. Drive thru is VERY slow. I recommend going to another drug store. read more

I'm shaking, I am so furious with this store! They are typically a 3 star store, today they are sub zero. It pains me to award them one star after the spectacle I witnessed just a few minutes ago. They were out of stock on my shampoo, so I was only picking up some pepsi. I stood in a normal line of people (typical here!) to checkout at the one register that was open. The nasty old lady cashier was checking out a man buying grocery items and paying with his food stamp debit card. In typical CVS fashion things weren't ringing up properly causing the man's out of pocket cost to rise to $26. The man pointed out the mistakes and the cashier started getting extremely rude. You could tell the man was embarrassed and as the line continued to grow, the evil attitude of the cashier and now the manager began to really come out. I'm embarrassed for the way those women treated that man. I would hope that if they were in a similar circumstance, they would be treated with more compassion. They should be ashamed. Rite Aid is right across the street. read more

Called pharmacy with a question about a Pharmacy Savings Card I was given in my physician's office today. After being on hold for over 13+ minutes and repeatedly hearing "Generic Harry' come on about every 10 seconds repeating that a pharmacist would be with me "momentarily", I hung up! I have gotten my prescriptions at Kroger for over 15 years and a pharmacist or tech has always answered. read more

The pharmacy drive thru has 2 lanes. I pulled into the second lane and the automated greeting says someone will be right with you. I then waited almost 15 minutes and watched as the pharmacy guy serviced 3 other cars and never even once acknowledged that I was there. I even pressed the call button and got no response. Hey, CVS, what's the point of 2 lanes if you aren't going to service them properly. There was no sign indicating the second lane was out of service. I ended up driving away. Easily the slowest and most inefficient CVS pharmacy I've ever been to. They look to be consistently understaffed and constantly overwhelmed by walk-ins, drive-thru, and phone calls. They even have to have customers in the drive thru lane come back 10 minutes later or ask them to come into the store to wait in line. Easy-in, easy-out, convenient parking since it's on the corner, away from the more heavy-traffic shops in the strip mall. The staff here is the friendliest of any CVS I use, and they do have a bottle-return machine at this location. My normal go-to CVS even though there's one right down the street from my house. read more

This has been my primary pharmacy for a while and as of late I have had nothing but issues. Most recently I had to drop off a prescription for 2 kinds of insulin in order to control my gestational diabetes. Something that is already quite daunting for someone who is 8 months pregnant trying to make sure her child is healthy. I received a vm from them requesting for me to callback about the prescription. When calling back I got one of the pharmacy assistants who proceeded to tell me that the system wasn't noted with the specifics of what the pharmacist wanted to tell me about the supplies that were part of my prescription so they probably were not covered, also that they had prescription 1, but prescription 2 would. It be available till 5 the next day. Ok, fine, no problem. So the. I asked if I could speak with the pharmacist that had left the voicemail to clarify what was wrong with the supply part of it, and she copped an attitude and said " if the system isn't noted then they're not covered". So again I had to ask to speak with the pharmacist, then she finally got him. Come to find out, he just needed to clarify the size of syringe I needed! Next day rolls around and I go to the drive through to pick up my prescription, and a scrawny teenage looking boy comes to the window and opens it the slightest crack and basically whispers without making any eye contact asking me if it's a pick up. He then comes back with 2 bags and I pay, but then notice that I only got one kind of insulin, and if you'll remember back to the beginning of this long review, I was prescribed 2. So I press the call button, and scrawny boy comes back. I tell him my prescription was for two kinds of insulin and he had only provided me one. He then goes to the computer and comes back to tell me that the prescription had only one on it. Which I know is not true since I has paper written prescriptions that were provided and they had told me the day before that they only had one in stock. So I tell him that, and he proceeds to say "I gave you two." At which point I'm getting really mad bc that's lie number two. To my face kid, really??? So I say "no, you have me one and a box of syringes." He then goes back to the computer and brings the pharmacist, then comes back and says "we don't have that in stock". Ok so we went from, "you don't have a script for that", to "I gave it to you.", to "we don't have that here" Now I'm really pissed, so I ask if they were going to tell me that, and he proceeds to tell me I can come back tomorrow but he doesn't know when they will get it. So I ask if he can give me a ballpark, and he says I can text them and ask Monday. So which is it, tomorrow or Monday! Then I ask to speak to someone else because his scrawny brace faced acne ass apparently can't come up with any straight answers. Then the pharmacist comes to the window and tells me that she can find it at a different location if I wait a moment. She finds it down the street and I go on my merry way. Having to ask to speak with someone else after dealing with two completely rude and incompetent children is absolutely unacceptable when it comes to medication and the health of my unborn child, I refuse to use this pharmacy ever again. read more
