Worst pharmacy team I've ever encountered....they constantly will tell you your meds are filled then miraculously they disappear. They all act as if they don't work together and have no idea what's going on. The main Pharmacist shouldn't even be in the medical field with her lack of empathy, comprehension, and blatant disregard for human well-being. DO NOT FILL MEDS HERE- the team willingly sent me to the ER because they "didn't know where my medications were sent", they ended up refilling my medication IN FLORIDA!!! It would be laughable how bad this pharmacy is, if they weren't willingly killing their customers. read more

On 11-7-25, I found out that a prescription was left unfilled and had to make a second trip. When I received a return call after leaving a message, the woman told me their computer only shows filled prescriptions. It's a matter of time before CVS goes under. read more

Stop locking the products, the intercom yelling to unlock the deodorant 3 times just for the manager to rush me. Now I have deodorant that smells bad because of this system that researchers have proven decrease sales. I will not be back. read more

CVS pharmacist RAHID at 3033 N Broadway in Chicago has the worst customer service. The ER doctor prescribed NEEDED medication early in the morning, 7 pm came and my prescription was still delayed, so I went to the store and complaint. RAHID informed me that I can take my business elsewhere since I complaint and asked me if I heard her. Yes! I heard you loud and clear. Maybe Rahid does not realize that I do not have to go to CVS. Mariano's is directly across the street and Walgreens is a couple blocks away. I was not the only person complaining about medication not being filled in a timely manner. STAY AWAY FROM CVS LAKEVIEW. I was having my prescription of oxycodone filled today. It took awhile but I eventually found out they have it in stock. I received a message from Rush that the scrip was sent at 2:43 however, CVS claimed they didn't have it and to check back in an hour. I received a call and another message that the script was sent at 2:43 and 3:20. I checked with the pharmacist and he said it would not be available until after 6:00 pm. I told him about the terrible pain I was having from my spinal surgery and that I had been without if for over a day because Walgreen's didn't have it in stock. Mr Tada had no sympathy for someone in pain and it was like speaking the an automaton. I will be going to the pharmacy at 6:00 pm and in great hope it will be ready. Just a note, Mr Tada has no boss as I had asked to speak with someone in charge. I can't recommend them as a pharmacy I would want to use and I'm sure after this spreads on Facebook quite a few people will feel the same way I do. They are only after a fast buck and could care less about their clients. Don't use them! read more

There is no private lot or drive through for an extremely busy area even though online it says it has both. Impossible to find parking. If you can't walk here, use a different CVS. read more

Walgreen's watch out. Granted a little smaller compared to other CVS pharmacy, however, you can find everything you are looking for at a great price. From the time you walk into this clean store... that's right.. clean store, you are greeted by someone. The majority of the staff members are great! There's always just that one but anyways....The flooring is carpeted so you don't hear any loud or squeaky foot traffic. The layout of the store is great. The aisles are nice and wide and are clearly marked so you can find your item with ease. Checking out is great. The store still has the standard check out agents who are very helpfull. There are also four (4) kiosk machines for the patrons who are in a hurry. Generally, no waiting. The pharmacists have been very helpful with various medications. Keep up the great job CVS Pharmacy. read more

I have NEVER been treated so rudely by the customer service lady who answered the phone at this pharmacy. I see many similar complaints in this store's review section. How on earth does this lady still have her job?! Any smart manager would fire such a rude person like that immediately. She refused to answer any of my questions about my medication. This has been my pharmacy for the past five years. I'll take this CVS over the Walgreens at Belmont & Broadway any day. I am consistently met with friendly service at this CVS. Never very crowded with minimal wait times, and the self check outs don't usually give me any problems. It's a smaller store but they have just what I need. Items are marked up but with my rolls of coupons from my ExtraCare savings card I'm definitely saving money or at least paying what I would at a discount store. Jeanie Kim the head pharmacist is one of the nicest pharmacists in the city and even though I don't have many prescriptions I feel she always remembers me. I hope this location can survive the shuttering of many stores that CVS is planning! read more

Quality in terms of response time, being placed on hold indefinitely and obviously meddling by head office in this pharmacy's operations has lowered the level of service. Where the staff used to be attentive and caring it is now trying it's best to kick people out as fast as they can with precoached responses. It is sad to see a junior pharmacist kick someone out in a wheelchair without helping, referring her to a website that does not work. Sad indeed. I've just had surgery and I can't reach them. When I do all they say is call your doctor and then leave me on hold forever when I want to speak to the manager. I'm so disappointed. This is your typical CVS pharmacy just a tad bit smaller. I came in here searching for a rest room (had a long day of chocolate touring planned and needed to start off right). I walked in, asked the cashier and she directed me to the restroom in the back of the store by the pharmacy. The restroom was surprisingly clean. Before leaving, I grabbed a chapstick and some water and quickly checked out. Friendly people who are eager to help. I would love to live closer to this CVS. Not that my CVS isn't just as awesome but I like that this one is small and efficient. read more

Wow. I never thought I'd write a glowing review for a pharmacy, but here I am! These folks are incredible. They're not only warm and friendly, but they also go way above and beyond. I had an expensive new prescription, and my insurance company was being extremely difficult.Rather than shrug at me and tell me I had no coverage (which is what it initially looked like in the system, and which would have cost me $700) or lazily stick me with a huge coinsurance bill (what they found when they finally got my insurance company to admit that I have coverage), they *both* told me about a discount card that was available from the manufacturer and *also* kept pressing my insurance company for *several days* to see if there was any way to lower the price further. When all else failed, they scrounged up a $10 discount card to help lower the price a bit further. Having worked in medical offices and dealt with insurance companies, I know how easy and tempting it would have been for these awesome folks to shrug at me and stick me with a huge bill. Instead, they pulled out all the stops, and I didn't even have to ask them -- they happily did this on their own! I've gone to four different pharmacies in the last two years because of a cross-country move, and there's just no comparison. No more rude and grumpy pharmacists for me! I'm going to write a note to the store/pharmacy manager as soon as I get a chance, as these folks deserve recognition for offering stellar customer service in a world where merely decent customer service has become a rarity. read more

This review is for the pharmacy only. I really recommend going anywhere BUT here. Generally - I find that the pharmacists and the pharmacy technicians all speak at very loud volumes about whatever medication you're receiving so that half the store can hear your entire medication history. Additionally, the pharmacy is quite disorganized - my doctor called in a prescription for me, but it was never filled because the pharmacist wrote it on a post-it and forgot to put it in the computer. When they finally fixed their errors and I went to pick up the prescription, the pharmacy staff was literally running around the pharmacy and juggling multiple tasks at once. Overall it just seemed like a recipe for disaster. I walk everywhere and so proximity is a big pull for me, but I would gladly go 10-15 minutes out of my way to never use this place again. read more

This CVS is great - the service is always really friendly - I also recently learned that through Kodak Photo Gallery online - I can go ahead and pick up my pictures here instead of waiting for them to arrive through the mail. Also - I saw something in a circular here but the store didn't have it - well, the store manager went out of his way and called all these stores - found one 45 minutes away and had it delivered there the next day -t alk about great customer service! read more

I am officially NEVER going to another pharmacy ever again! The pharmacist, Kelly, is an absolute ROCKSTAR and was so helpful, kind and patient with me today while aiding me in getting a prescription transferred. Not only that, but I'm uninsured and found out that the $35 price difference I was seeing in the exact same medicine between CVS and Walgreens (CVS being cheaper) was due to the fact that the pharmacy staff was kind enough to take the time to apply a discount card to my account. There are about 4 other CVS stores more convenient to my home and work, but I will be going a little farther out of my way from now on to visit this location! read more

The pharmacists and staff are always helpful, knowledgable, and most importantly.. patient with my many many questions. Just this morning, I had an issue with a generic that gave me a bad reaction and Kelly (not sure if she's a tech or a pharmacist) was very helpful and patient when I called in panicked and distressed over my stupid meds - that just made my morning! this is a view for the store - the African American female cashier has always been rude and today was absolutely rude when I requested help in the self-checkout as I was trying to apply a coupon. she was saying that now she will have to redo the transaction because I didn't apply the coupon to my card. haven't seen such rude staff anywhere at least in this neighborhood read more

This is the best pharmacy in the area. There are a bunch of neighboring Walgreens but all of them have a problem -- either its hard to find parking or long lines. But CVS has its own convenient parking lot and its never crowded. The service here is great and I prefer it any day over Walgreens. read more

I hate this CVS the people that work there are extremely ignorant. They don't greet their customers, they have a tantrum and follow you when u don't answer their question. They always ask u what do u want and have an attiutude y e u here. They also have 1 cashier with an attitude problem and no name tag and very poor customer service like Barry regent cleaners and walgreens at Broadway, Clark and diversey. I hope they close this location and rather go to the one in the loop at wells and Washington off the brown line gives good service. read more

I went into CVS specifically to use a $5 coupon that was expiring that day. Of course the soap I needed was locked up so Victoria kindly helped unlock it. I went to the self check out and had trouble accessing my coupon on my phone so Victoria helped cancel the transaction and said she can help me at the counter. She was so friendly and happy. After we left the store both my boyfriend and I mentioned how kind Victoria was as a worker. She brightened my day- I'll go out of my way to go to this CVS now. read more

What is normally a nice experience at this CVS was was not this morning. For over two years I have used their pharmacy with paying over $400 a month in prescriptions. Today a new young lady was their. I gave her my last name and date of birth, she then asked for my first name and how to spell it, then my date of birth again which I gave her, she then asked for my name again, then my date of birth...,.i said to her, " for the third time...." at which time she snapped at me saying " you are first to give me your name then date of birth!" This was so insulting to me I left. I was shocked at this rude treatment from an employee let alone someone in a pharmacy. I will not use this location again unless I receive an apology. read more

I've been going to this CVS since it opened, but no more. Last Friday I went to pick a my prescription and the woman behind the counter was engaged in a personal conversation with the one other person in the line. I gave my name to the pharmacist and he said someone would be with me in a moment. When she finally finished her conversation Kelly got my prescription. I told Kelly that I did not think customers should have to wait for personal conversations to get their prescriptions. Kelly told me that since I felt that way, she would be "happy to transfer my prescription to some other store". I have contacted their corporate office. I think they need to "transfer" Kelly's tail and attitude to the curb. read more

This is a great pharmacy to go to if you want to be treated with a smile and with great customer service! I have been in here a few times now and every time I walk in the staff greets me and is very helpful. I have noticed that this location is also very clean. I have been to other pharmacies in the area and I always feel the staff is overworked and not really enjoying their jobs, and the stores just feel filthy. Is it the over-bright fluorescent lights? Is it the fact that they are so busy that they don't have time to say hello? Or put items back on the shelves in an ordering manner? Or clean? Whatever it is, CVS has similar offerings and is just as close to me, and I will be spending my time and my dollars here. read more

The pharmacists here are fantastic. I often do not have great experiences working with health care companies/health insurance/etc, but the pharmacists at this CVS always make my life so much easier. I feel like everytime I've lined up at the register, there's a line 6 people deep and one register open. And 3 employees at the Kodak booth kind of chit chatting and shooing away customers and only opening up new registers when more customers started lining up. Maybe I just pick the days or time frame where the people that are working are sorta off. This place is SO much nicer than the walgreens across the street. It's bright, clearly labeled, and clean. I'm surprised the walgreens across the street hasn't picked up their game. read more

I've been getting my prescriptions at this location for 6 years, and I've always been very impressed. Staff is very organized and efficient. They are very quick in getting MD refills faxed, keeping track of automatic refills, etc. There have been several occasions when I have needed to refill a prescription at another location, and all of the logistics are always worked out within 24hrs. They even know me by name when I come to pick up my prescriptions. The pharmacist has gone as far as recommending me a doctor. Love the text reminders when the scripts are ready! This is the most rudest staff I have ever came across yet . When you shop here they ask you can I help over 4 times even though I say Im fine thanks they come back and check on me and RE-ASK several times , I mean if I wanted that much assistance I would make Peapod shop for me . They followed me from aisle to aisle but I was waiting for my brothers medication from the pharmacy so I strolled around to pass those 3-5 minutes until the prescription was filled , I never knew CVS had a time frame limit to hurry and leave the store the minute you are done or not finding whats needed. Its like go in, get it, get out or they assume something is off with your behavior by taking your time or that you might have other intentions. I actually have no issues here. The staff is nice and they always get me an answer I need. Yes, the line is most always long but this is an unbelievably and incredibly busy location. I never spend more than a couple of minutes in line and I plan to do so it is never an issue for me. read more

I love this CVS! My boyfriend and I had to fill a prescription and went to the walgreens down the street where we were told it was $60 and after a rude employee mocking us for not having health insurance we left and came here. Not only was the price a DRASTIC DIFFERENCE and I mean Drastic the price came out to $27. The pharmacist noticed that the directions for his medicine made no sense and went out of his way to call the doctor and make sure we had the correct instructions. We were extremely pleased and will definitely be returning soon. read more

Went there to buy an electric toothbrush and this employee (a manager maybe since he wasn't wearing the typical uniform) was just super weird!! First off, he was at the entrance just making his presence super known, watching everyone who came in. Then I unfortunately had to ask him to unlock the cabinet and he was like "oh I have one of these up front" and I was thinking cool, I'll grab it and finish my shopping. But this guy decided to start the checkout process for me and I was like "I actually have more shopping to do..." and he was like "OK I'll keep the box back here". Did he think I was going to steal it or what?? Why couldn't I hold the toothbrush I was going to buy? And I wanted to do self checkout (because it's better for my anxiety and social distancing!) but he was holding the toothbrush hostage unless I checked out with him! He kept walking around the store finding me to see what I was doing. Seriously??! I will NOT be returning to this location! I have bought the same item at other locations in the past and have NEVER had this problem before. Made me so uncomfortable. read more
