Actually check to see if script is there before saying you don't have it. My doctor did send it. I have the confirmation of Escribe receipt in MyChart. I should have read the reviews before asking my usual pharmacy to send the script they couldn't fill to the one on Springdale Rd. This place is terrible. Busy as balls - prob because of this crummy time of the year but I still only waited maybe 5 minutes to talk to the pharmacist about his recommendation for an OTC med for my hurting ears & head. I went on the CVS website to schedule an appointment for the shingles vaccine. I arrived on time, but I had to wait awhile- but no big deal- that is not the reason for the bad review. A month after receiving the shot, I got a bill in the mail for $179, in spite of the fact that I had given them my insurance info, and the shot should have been fully covered. A call to my insurance company revealed that CVS had incorrectly coded the visit, and that they had denied payment due to the mistake. CVS coded the entire bill as a medical expense, but it should have been coded under prescription coverage @ $153, and medical for administering the shot @ $26. I phoned CVS and asked them to resubmit the bill with the correct coding, but they refused. I called the Minute Clinic directly, and they also refused to resubmit the bill with correct coding. So I am out $179. The problem seems to stem from the fact that the "Minute Clinic" is actually a separete company, billing as "Minute Clinic Diagnostic of New Jersey LLC", which is apparently run by a nurse practitioner named Sejal Desai. CVS seems to have no control over her, and no desire to get involved. Very aggravating since the appointment was mad on the CVS website. I did not know that the service was being provided by a different company. It leaves me wondering if the handling of the vaccine (temperature of storage, dilution protocal, etc) is similarly haphazard at the Minute Clinic. From now on I will be using a different pharmacy where the vaccines are administered by the Pharmasist and billed by them as well. read more

I went to this walk in clinic with an ear infection and was asked if I had an appointment. I told the lady that the website said you do walk ins. The lady told me they only do walk ins if they aren't booked with appointments. What a crock. There wasn't a soul in the waiting area or in any of the exam rooms. The doors were all open and empty. Today we had a child with pink eye and we went here to fill the prescription. The pediatrician (Cooper Pediatrics) took a really long time to send the prescription over. I had to go to the minute clinic this morning because I needed a vaccine for my job. I went to the M.C. area and signed in easy peezy. I don't think I waited longer than 2 minutes before I was called in. I explained what I needed and also that I have an unbelievable fear of needles. Ann took such good care of me. She could not have been more kind or empathetic to my phobia & to be honest the needle didn't hurt at all. The Minute Clinic was clean, Ann was warm & gentle, I was in and out in less than 15 minute & best of all - my insurance took care of 100% of it. Overall, I think this is one of the better CVS stores in the area. It is big, well stocked, the staff both at the front and in the pharmacy are friendly and quick. read more

We ultimately switched to a different cvs. Had to go there at midnight because the other was closed for the night. Problem: a script filled that same day was defective - seal was broken (prepackaged item in a box was peeling apart inside). Dude on staff refused to replace it because it wasn't from his cvs. Acted completely unfamiliar with concept of a product defect and concept of using different store to exchange it. So much for "patients first". Zero stars if I could give one. Now my wife gotta go 24 more hours in pain before relief starts. And a trip tomorrow (on Christmas eve) to the other cvs. So much for having a 24/7 store. Oh it gets better. Get this! Next day my wife went to the initial cvs. Not only did they switch it, they didn't hesitate, didn't check the computer, didn't even ask for my wife's name! This is for the store, not the pharmacy (which seems to have its own issues). Whenever I stop by, it appears dirty and in disarray. When I tried to buy two lipsticks at 50 % off, a sale clearly marked on rack, the manager said because I did not have a card I could not buy them at half price. This is fine, but he did not even bother to explain what had to be done to get a CVS card. I don't like the feeling of this whole store the several times I've been in and only use it at times due to location. It needs a major overhaul and an renewed focus on customer service. read more

I absolutely hate this pharmacy and store. The pharmacy never has my medication, and they are ridiculously rude. The one guy told me he's doing me a favor filling my script since I don't like in cherry hill. I live 5 minutes from the place and since when is that a rule???? The CVS store NEVER has what I'm looking for in stock. Every time I step in there I kick myself for even bothering. I had to run there before work one day and two employees were assist ONE customer and had me waiting at the register for 5 minutes. They knew I was there. The pharmacy staff here at this location borders on incompetence. They continue to fail at checking messages for new prescriptions and refills being called in by doctors and as a result often are unable to assist people in a timely fashion. I regularly receive phone calls stating my prescriptions are ready for pickup, only to arrive and be told they aren't filled yet and it will be a 30-45minute wait time. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague if you need meds (thats putting it nicely). read more

Absolutely PATHETIC (Pharmacy!) such a joke but I am not laughing. Arrived at Holly Ravine Plaza Cherry Hill NJ, 1:30 pm on monday 062219. I thought it would be a good idea to pickup a prescription phoned in one month earlier..especially since CVS had already billed my insurance company. I told the "gentleman" at the counter and showed him the insurance company receipt with the drug name and quanity on it. The gentleman says there is no drug name here. I should have walked out at that point. I made the presumption that someone working in pharmacy could read. He said it will be about 15 minutes. About 5 or 6 people came and went during the 45 minutes I waited. Turns out the medication was a prepackaged liquid , requiring selecting it from stock? In the mean time I told the "manager " that he had a problem. My solution was simple don't come back. I also advised him to view the security tape and see the ridiculous problems the "gentleman " had with other customers (doubt that happedned) I also made a point of telling the gentlemen that regardless of what he was paid, it was way too much. He also made sure that a girl rang me up (not to leave name?) In summary if you want an outfit that cheats insurance companies, has employees who lye and you have a lot of time to waste while picking up you medications, this is the place to go! read more

I had a terrible experience with this pharmacy when my mother was at the end of her life and I was caring for her at home with the help of hospice nursing. As I understand it, the pharmacy has an agreement with Samaritan Hospice (who by the way provide excellent, professional and compassionate care) to provide a particular medication that is crucial for easing pain in dying patients. When I took precious time away from my mother's bedside to pick up the medication, I was told they were out of it. No expression of regret at not being able to provide something so important to someone at the end of their life. No compassion for a family member suffering the loss of their loved one. No help finding another pharmacy who could provide the medication. My sister got more help and concern from calling the Haddonfield CVS on the phone. Awful. read more

After four, five, maybe six times of being told that my medication is ready, only to show up and find out it's not, I'm changing pharmacies - which is a pain, because this CVS is by far the closest to my house, but the staff and their lack of honesty and professionalism is just too much to deal with. Check all the other reviews here before you commit to a pharmacy. Note that they'll never tell you your order isn't ready - they'll say they "don't see it under the patient's name" and will ask for the name of the medication. This is their way of avoiding responsibility for their constant, systematic errors and trying to trick you so they can make it on the spot. Unfortunately, the medication I take needs a doctor's prescription before refills - something Holly Ravine's automated system confirms they will do, and by a certain date - so the staff try to be sneaky by asking if they can "fax over the request". Not going to help on a Saturday afternoon on Memorial Day weekend. My doctor's office staff isn't waiting around to fill these requests. I've tried ordering in advance and giving them 1-2 extra days after they confirm the order is ready, but it never makes a difference. I know I'm not alone by the amount of angry customers that always fill their cramped waiting area. Stay away. These people are incompetent, corrupt, and unapologetic. read more

24 hour CVS. Went in with the Mrs. to pickup prescriptions. Typically, it isn't very crowded. However, with this change in weather, it brought everybody to the pharmacy to pick up prescriptions. Had to wait to pick up the prescriptions we had to pick up so we decided to do some shopping and kill some time. Always a good thing when receive CVS coupons and bucks from purchases. There is always something to find and purchase when we are in there. This time was no exception to what we all know, when in CVS, we always find something to purchase. read more

Shoprite closed their pharmacy and sent me across the street to this third world drug dealer called cvs. I called two weeks before my prescription for a life saving drug needed a refill. They said no problem - give us a day or two. I gave them three. I called and was on hold 22 minutes before hanging up. Day 4 I call again - 27 minutes of hold and no answer. Day 6 I go in person and after 15 minutes they said they needed to talk to the doc. So I called the next day - 20 minutes on hold with no answer. Same thing day 8 and 9. Day 10 I go again in person begging for this medicine to keep me alive. They responded with "we will call the doc, call us tomorrow". I called day 11 and 12 - on hold and no answer. I split the meds in half to get some benefit. Called day 13 and finally on day 14 I spoke to a human who tells me "the doc wants to see you. We can't help you." I asked if they were going to let me know and they rudely responded "it's not our responsibility". Their apathy caused me pain and suffering and threatened my life. AVOID THIS PLACE. read more

This review is for the CVS Pharmacy at Holly Ravine Plaza, Store # 1146. I have been a regular CVS customer for both the pharmacy and the retail store. Their employees are always courteous in the retail part of the store. However, at the pharmacy side, some of their staff could use a little bedside manor and the place is always understaffed. I understand that when they are understaffed, they get very busy and cannot provide the best service to their customers. I never complaint or gave it a thought when I had to wait in line for 15 minutes to get my medication. However, on November 24, 2014 was the worse experience that I ever had in that location and one that I would consider changing pharmacies. It was 6:00 p.m. and I waited in line for 15 minutes. There was one pharmacist on staff and 2 employees serving the customers. One employee was on the consultation side, and the other employee was on the side where you pick up your medications. This was my 4th time visiting the pharmacy to pick up a product that the pharmacy did not order the previous 3 times. Actually this product was a return due to particles in the product that should not have been in the product. When I finally reached the counter, the young man working there was annoyed with me because the product that I requested was not listed in the computer under my name. I told him that I was told the day before that the product had been delivered to them and that I should stop at the pharmacy to pick it up. I knew the product was stored in the back side where the pharmacist is located. This gentleman refused to listen and told me to go the the consultation side to talk to the lady who was managing that side. This was very unusual, because I always picked up that particular product from the pharmacy register. The other problem was that I would have to wait, for another 15 minutes on the consultation side. Since I had no choice, I did wait the additional 15 minute. The lady did go back in the pharmacist's area and picked up the product. To make matters worst, waiting for 30 minutes was the worst thing that could have happen to me. I have a medical condition which makes it very hard for me to stand up for that length of time. It is unfortunate that this gentleman could not provide a better experience for me. Bottom line is that their employees must be better trained, and also, this pharmacy needs to be better prepared to service their clientele. If there were 0 stars to give to the pharmacy I would have given them 0 stars. Not just for the incident described above, but for the many years of putting up with their understaffing and rudeness of some of their employees in the Pharmacy side. read more

My family of 4 have been getting our prescription medicines here for years. It is a 24 h pharmacy which is convenient. Customer service have been deteriorating year after year... Unfortunately, I reached the point when I have to switch pharmacies. Prescriptions are never filled on time, you always end up waiting even when they are not busy. Half of the time they do not have medication that you need and they have to order it. They fill generic when prescription says brand name and people are rude and have no customer service skills. Worst drug store ever! They take forever to fill prescriptions and the staff are rude. The line is always long because they are so slow at filling prescriptions. Today I called before going about my daughter's ear drops because she has an ear infection. The pharmacist response was," Your doctor called it over but I didn't fill it yet," I asked how long would it take and she responded," At least an hour or so." This CVS is open 24 hours. Great for getting meds or essentials after hours. Only downside is they get so busy during peak hours.

Do not use the pharmacy at this store. They never get your prescription correct. Most of the time they say they never received anything to fill. It is another way to tell you they don't have it in stock. The employees are rude (only in Pharmacy) and do not have any solutions to your questions. Normally, The CVS Pharmacy at Holly Ravine has been very good and attentive to my prescription needs. but today was a doozy! Worst experience ever at any pharmacy. I believe the pharmacist's name was Ranuka. She was not only rude, but apparently was in such a hurry to leave,that she gave me misinformation, saying that I had no insurance coverage and they were out of the medication I needed. So I left the store, sat in my car and called the insurance company. They told me I was completely insured. Then they referred me to the prescription plan, Caremark, where I spoke to John who also told me I was insured. John proceeded to call and speak to the pharmacist on duty who promptly filled my prescription, in the professional manner as always, unlike earlier in the day with Ranuka. A big thank you to John!Ranuka, on the other hand, needs some training in how to treat people respectfully as well as how to confirm a person's insurance and how to check the stock! She should observe how her colleagues do all of the above--everyone else does a very good job there! read more
