This CVS is at a great location right on the main road. They have a pretty big parking lot. the actual store was well kept and clean. There was a huge line at the front register, not sure why they didn't open a second one. Absolutely the worst pharmacy in the area, I'm surprised corporate is not all over this location asking questions. Pharmacy runs out of meds all the time, and good luck getting your prescription from the drive through in under 30 minutes, even if you are second in line. I absolutely abhor this pharmacy! They are always out of medication and they do not run efficiently. There is always a line for medication and then they bounce you to another line . There are at least 4-5 people behind the counter (often moving at snail like paces). They absolutely enjoy working together because they pay more attention to their enjoyment versus doing their jobs well. It's sad -the closest pharmacy with the better operation closed (those 3 people rocked it). I will be moving my medication online or to WM. I can understand why today's pharmacies have closed. Imagine going to CVS with your child to get their first passport picture taken and having a unpleasant experience. Dear Monica, Mam if you don't like your job please find another. Customer service is not for you. You seem Miserable. With your fake smile and your condescending tone. You need training!!! I spoke to the manager . And will be following up with corporate. With all the CVS stores closing, you'd think they would manage to train employees. In fact the NJ department of labor is offering training courses for employees. I've never had so many problems with a pharmacy in my life. The only reason I stayed after the first few incidents was because it's close to my house. Everytime I mean everytime you speak to someone you get a different story. I'm transferring all my prescriptions for me and my family and I will not be returning . Unless you need meds for it, I would avoid this location like the plague. Don't bother using the automated voice message system to refill your prescription because when you arrive, the first pharmacist will dismissively send you to the second pharmacist who will then tell you to wait 20 minutes. After you wait 20 minutes and visibly sit in a chair for another 10 and stand up and ask if your prescription is ready, that pharmacist will tell you that its been ready but you need to move to the back of the long line of patient souls. And then you'll need to leave because you have to go to work and actually do your job. read more

I wish I could give negative stars... Been coming here for years.... I'm a diabetic and after waiting for a week for my prescription to be filled it was wrong. My husband got home with it and I called right away... after being on hold for 45 minute I called the manager who said the pharmacy was busy... I was put on hold again. The girl I spoke to next told me that my doctor sent the wrong script which I know wasn't true because last time I picked it up it was correct and this was a refill on that same script. This review is strictly about the Pharmacy Department. The Pharmacist at this store are a new level Ignorant. One that I have truly never seen before. On numerous occasions they have refused to follow doctors orders by not filling my prescriptions. It was never because it to soon to fill. They simply practice medicine by deciding when or if they fill you prescriptions. The final straw with the store was yesterday. My husbands inhaler did not work. It was out of propellant with at least 50 doses left on the meter. 5 times I had to say this to the Pharmacist. Each time the Pharmacist replied your not using it right. You have to shake it first. So I shook it and showed her it did not work. Next it was you have to wash the inhaler out. I showed her it was a new holder. Long story short she insisted it was fine and he was using it wrong instead of replacing the life saving inhaler. Please do yourself a favor and stay FAR AWAY FROM THIS CVS on Maple Ave in Pennsauken, NJ. Your life is to important to depend on these incompetent & careless Pharmacist. read more

Went to Urgent Care yesterday morning (Sat.) and they sent in a script for "Cough Medicine" I called back to see if it was ready yet. After their "automatron" dude told me it would be ready on WEDNESDAY at 12:00 pm. Then the auto asked me "Is there something else I can help you with? If no, you can press #2 or simply hang up. I know this place is awful because my wife had all her meds sent to Costco but I thought that this place is much closer and really how bad could they screw this up? 5 days and a couple of hours worth I guess. read more

WORST CVS I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. Pharmacy is always awful. They told me that they needed a card with an Rx on it and it is clearly stated and the woman behind the counter refused to fill it. Then, on a separate occasion, they had a problem with my insurance, made me wait 10 minutes then told me that they needed to re-enter everything and it would be another 15 minutes. Called my name and refused to take me to pay so I had to wait behind EIGHT PEOPLE. Worst service ever!!!! Then for Christmas I ordered my Christmas cards through them, huge mistake. I go in over a day after I got an email that it was ready and the manager told me that their printer has been down for four days. Yet I never got a call. I call customer service while I'm still in the store tiger my money back and the manager is calling me to tell me that the printer has been down for four days. If I can give this place negative stars, I would! I came here to have my passport photos taken. I waited in line just like everybody else for the photo assistant to get to me. He was helping an older woman print her photos. It was taking a while, but I figured hey, I'm next, so no big deal. When the store assistant finished with the older woman, he walked right by me without asking if I needed any help, and proceeded to prepare to take the next customer at the register. I got his attention to ask to have my photos taken. His reply was "we are too busy to do that right now." He then turned to another person behind the counter to ask if he should help her with her line rather than help me. She apparently said yes he shouldn't help me but should proceed to take care of all the customers who came after me. The line was maybe 5 or 6 people deep, and there were already 2 cashiers taking care of the line. SO WHY WASN'T I HELPED?!?!? Does CVS only help the customers that they feel like helping? Does it have anything to do with the fact that I am Asian? I don't know if that was the case, but I would really like to know. The employee then said that maybe if I came back later, he'll be able to help me. EXCUSE ME?? Does the fact that I waited in line just like everyone else not matter? Does CVS offer passport photo service or not?? If not, then please do not advertise that they do, or if they only offer that service during "non-busy hours" (whenever that is), then please clarify that and stop misleading your customers! I work in the corporate office right down the street and many of my co-workers shop here, as well as my friends and family in the area. I will make sure that all of my co-workers, friends and family in this area never step foot in this particular location again! If you like waiting in long lines after getting a text that your prescriptions are ready, to learn how "funny" it is that you got that text because your very common generic prescription is on out of stock, I highly recommend this place to seriously LOL! If you work in a customer-facing service industry, or better yet, manage one, this place is the ultimate resource for learning new, creative ways to inform a customer that any issue is "not my fault." Don't worry tho, the favorites such as "someone called out" are still in rotation! Other major advantages of using this pharmacy are the promise of hearing real-life employee accounts on how it feels to be "backed up" and/or "short staffed." The techs are always so comfortable to interact with that you can even exchange physical yawns (I recommend 6pm and after for this experience). OH! If you end up a regular, you may even earn the privilege of overhearing the staff and management gossip about a customer that just walked away!!! You cannot get this anywhere else!!! All this awesomeness aside, since I only just need my medications filled, prefer that they're actually waiting for me when I get that hilarious text, and tho I kind of wish it's ME as the subject of who is getting high on meds that aren't needed, I use Walgreens instead.
