I truly never like to give a one star to a business but this CVS truly deserve it. This is only for the Pharmacy side as i only get my medicine from here. The people working in the Pharmacy are rude and have zero patience. I see them get frustrated and rude with people on a daily base when i visit. Zero customer service skills at all in a customer facing position. I called today and waited for 10 minutes to get through after all the prompts. they had called me earlier to call them back at 3pm. I was driving at the time so my phone was connected to bluetooth. A lady picked up and said excuse me am i on speaker phone. I said sorry i'm driving and you are on my car phone. She immediately said take me off speaker. I let her know i'm driving and to give me a second. She immediately hung up the phone. I called back and got the same person. I asked her why did she hung up on me. She said oh i didn't hang up on you there's 20 people working here. Then she asked me a weird question, saying where you here during lunch time. I responded to her no because i haven't been into CVS. Beside this a person told me that they would put in my prescription on Monday. Then i called back Tuesday to check and they said sorry we will put it in today. Now here we are on Thursday and the prescription just got put in. I would avoid this place at all cost. CVS Pharmacy - Waiting in drive thru going on 30 minutes - Drugstores Near Me - Charlotte, North Carolina

Just moved back from out of state and I'm pretty sure I'm sick because of that. (I mean it could be literally anything- I went to a bar, I've seen family, climate change...) So I started feeling sick Monday night with a super scratchy throat. Tried to self-treat Tuesday and Wednesday with cough drops, mucinex, lemon ginger tea, and nothings really helped except the advil to reduce my fever. Anyway, I have to start a new job on Monday so I wanted to get checked out to see if I had bronchitis or something that would prevent me from going to work. Luckily the minute clinic is SUPPOSED to do walk ins! So I got there AT 8:30 on the dot so I could be the first one in and not around too many people. I tried to check in and their kiosk only gave me the option to schedule an appointment. I asked the lady in the white coat why I couldn't just do a walk in and she said "if the 9 AM appointment doesn't come in then we can take you." Im sorry... what? What is the purpose of a walk in then? We could've spent that half hour before that appointment checking me out but no. I asked a nurse-man why they opened at 8:30 then and he said "it's so we can set up". I'm sorry, but that is NOT MY PROBLEM. If it says your open then you are open, it is a huge inconvenience to any client who needs assistance. If you didn't get things done in the time allotted before you open, it sounds like you need to manage your time better. So I walk out bawling my eyes out because Im sweating, I'm flustered, and I'm sick and just want help. My husband goes in and (unknowingly) scheduled me an appt for the next day. So we go back a few hours later for my "appointment" at 10:40 and of course it's not there, so I just ask "can you guys take a walk in now or no?", they say yes and ask for my ID and ins. card. I have Tricare insurance thru the military, but I don't have a card. So I guess that meant they just could not help me because I simply didn't have a physical card and said I'd have to do out of pocket which is like $140 plus whatever else they want to add on for testing and crap. This is NOT the first time I've had issues with CVS' in the past, this is not the worst one I've seen, but needless to say, ALL CVS SUCKS and the minute clinic at this one is incredibly unhelpful. Went to the Fast med down the street and got care much faster and much quicker. read more

I had a scheduled visit for a bad sore throat at this location and I still had to wait an extra half an hour to get in, therefore scheduling ahead is meaningless at this location. The healthcare provider checked me and suggested 3 tests to determine a diagnosis. I questioned one of them and she gave me false information about it (I am no sure if intentionally or because of her lack of knowledge). Upon getting the results she did not offer me any treatment advice. I left the same I came in but of course had to pay not only for the visit but also for the unnecessary and useless tests, which did not help determine any treatment option for me. This Minute Clinic is not only understaffed, but staffed with incompetent people who's only purpose is to charge as much as they can for each and every patient visit. Please, do not trust this clinic, find a better place for your medical care needs! read more

There's no sugar coating it, this place is always busy and understaffed but they do the best they can with the hand they were dealt. There have been times where I walk in and the line is almost to the door but the staff are always nice even on their worst days. You can't blame the individuals at the counter for not having enough staff when just about every industry out there is experiencing staffing issues. People who take out their frustrations on these employees just just trying to do their best (and probably not getting paid enough to do it) are no friends of mine. Is it annoying that your medication is taking a while to be filled, sure, but it would be way longer of a wait and way more annoying if you treated the employees poorly and they quit. Just be nice to people. If the waits are that big of an issue for you, ask to have your prescription transferred to a new pharmacy but I would bet that they're just as backed up and understaffed as this location. read more

If I could give them a negative star. I WOULD! I just went to cvs pharmacy for the 2st since switching from walmart pharmacy because of insurance. I received an alert that my medicine was ready for pickup. I walked up and was greeted rudely by one lady and then I stood there and waited for someone to help. But the lady continues to hold her "personal" conversation. She decided to acknowledge me by asking me my name, but the kicker is, she continued her conversation. Maybe she thought she could multi-task, but she couldn't because she had to ask me my name again. If that wasn't bad enough. I received 2 subscriptions, but I knew I had 3. She said that was it. I left the store but decided to check the app before I left the parking lot and saw the 3rd subscription was ready. I went back in and had her scan the barcode and guess what, my epi-pen was there. She didn't apologize or anything about not finding it the 1st time, of course she didn't because she never looked for it. Because customer service is so bad and to let me know, she could careless she was rude. She started back up talking to her co-worker. Now I wish I knew her name but she was logged in as Evan, which was on the receipt. White lady with a nose ring that seemed to tan way to much because she was orange and very thin. This pharmacy is atrocious.... On one occasion, I was in the drive through and someone came to put the cone out to let me know I was the last one in line.... Then I was told that it was lunchtime after waiting 20 min. Another time I received two different stories concerning whether or not my prescription was in stock. These people don't know whether they're coming or going. If I had my choice..... let's put it this way, I will consider having another pharmacy handle my prescriptions. read more

Answers the phone while I'm walking up to counter and told at least another hour for an antibiotic that was called in almost two hours ago. CVS' Minute Clinic should be renamed. I have found it to be significantly less convenient than making an appointment with my doctor. Due to my employer's requirement to get a wellness screening for insurance purposes, I have found myself signing in to the minute clinic on 5 separate occasions. Each sign in requires enough info that it takes 5 minutes just to sign in. Only then are you informed how long the wait will be. I have tried 2 different CVSs at varying times throughout the day (from 8 am to 4 pm) and the wait has never been less than 2 hrs. If you have the option to go elsewhere, save yourself the headache of eternal wait times and do so. read more

Something about locking up soap makes me wonder how safe this place is. This is a sketchy location and I don't feel safe here. Got a text to come back and they had used a discount prescription card instead of our insurance on file. The young lady at the window couldn't stop texting enough to be of any use. Now they say 30 minutes more because they have to type a new label. How slow are the people that work here that it takes 30 minutes to type a label? Do not use this pharmacy. I grew up with CVS being the go-to drugstore. I am still a fan to this day. The store is always clean and well stocked. The staff here is friendly. You are usually greeted at the door and if you ever need help finding something, they are happy to help. My favorite is the CVS brand (gold emblem) candy. Whenever I have a sweet tooth craving for gummy bears, swedish fish, sour patch kids, or sour watermelons I will stop at CVS. Regularly it is $0.99 but often on sale for $0.88 with your CVS loyalty card. The prices for everything else here is usually higher than what you'll find at Walmart or Target - but when items are on sale the prices can be lower. It is definitely worth taking a look at their weekly ads online or if you get the Sunday paper. read more

I arrived at 6:45 at the "Minute Clinic" and attempted to check in to see the nurse. I received a message on the Kiosk that I could not check in because they were booked until closing at 7:30. However, there was no one else checked in at the Kiosk and only one patient in the room with the nurse "see my screen shot of the kiosk verifying this. I waited until the nurse comes out at 7:03 and ask her. She states she can not see me because I didn't check in before 7:00. I explained to her what the kiosk said and she basically apologized and acknowledged this happens all the time and its a problem with the kiosk, but she can't help me. So basically, even though they close at 7:30, there are no more patients for her to see from 7:03 on she can't see me? This makes no sense. I will never go back to Minute Clinic. read more

Every time I've been to this store I've been acknowledged and greeted. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pharmacy as a whole is always helpful and courteous. I've had several issues with my sons medications d/t insurance reasons, and staff has always gone above and beyond to help figure out the problem, whether it gets solved or not, at least they make all efforts on my behalf. I've seen reviews about the store being outdated, but what most important to me is having what I need and providing great customer service. This store has that. I visit this location for my prescription and so far I am pretty happy with it. I recently visited this location for passport size pictures. Store was clean however employee needs to be little friendly with customers. The doctor was very friendly at this store but the employee who took picture was not friendly at all. It really felt like he didn't wanted to work and I think that's really negative vibe for any business. I had to wait few minutes for my pictures and I noticed that he was treating all customer he helped/checked out like "why are you here, go away" read more

The last two times we've had to pick up prescriptions, we have been told a time they would be ready and have arrived promptly expecting things to go quickly and smoothly. However, the last two times they have lied and we have spent over an hour each time waiting for things to be done that they claimed were already done or would be done in 5 mins, 10 mins, 15 mins, etc etc (but never were and always ended up around 1 hour mark). I've been to this CVS many times for both the minute clinic (a great feature btw) as well as the pharmacy itself. I've never seen such a great group of tech's and pharmacists working together - they seem to all really enjoy what they are doing and working together, which is hard to find anywhere! The pharmacist that has assisted me had my scripts done before I could walk from the minute clinic over to the pharmacy window - that's what I call service! I pulled up to the drive-through window the lady working there look at me and," ask me what do I want"! As if I was knocking on a door or something this store is very unprofessional. I usually go to Walgreens, but we just moved here from TN and needed a place to get medication since my spouse has digestive problems. She is lucky my spouse is a good man because I am not. She should not be working with people that need help, let alone anything to do with customer service. read more

Was told by one employee in the pharmacy I needed to wait 10 minutes for my prescription, after about 25 I asked if my medication was ready, only to be told I have to drop it off first? The first person i spoke with assured me that they already had my forms. Then when I went to drop off my prescription the lady behind the counter was extremely rude and unsympathetic.
