It does get incredibly busy in the afternoons, and sometimes there are going to be a pump or two out of service. I'd write that off to the fact that it such a high traffic gas station that things are going to wear and tear faster than most places. Regardless, every time I've been inside I've found relatively clean facilities and stocked shelves of the travel essentials and snacks. Clean floors, clean coffee counter, and someone's always behind the register. I've even got a donut a time or two here. It's not anything to write home about (definitely not my first choice for a donut, or second for that matter), but it's cheap and passable if you really need someone to keep you going. My station of choice is always going to be a QT (since the closest Sheetz is up in Troutman), but the University area only has the one near the Music Pavilion, so this Circle K is more than enough for when I'm around here. I can't speak on the Subway, but it's pretty slammed around lunchtime as well. Their sanitation store was in the high-90's if that helps you. Other than the mentions above, I've never felt unsafe when I stop here. I'm normally in and out in less than five minutes with my gas or drink from inside the store. It definitely does what it's supposed to deliver on as far as I'm concerned.

I was in and out in under 10 minutes. It took a little longer than I expected because the pharmacy was so busy I had to locate it on my own. But I found it and was able to check out quickly. Located on MLK Blvd across from Romare Bearden Park, there is some parking in a garage behind the building as well as street parking on MLK. Okay, their systems are down and life happens, but how hard would it be to VISIBLY post "CASH ONLY" for all of the drivers waiting in line? When I called before driving here and spoke to a pharmacist--who assured me that my prescription was ready for pickup--why didn't she mention that I need to have cash? Where is the basic level of logic here? I'm not sure whether this message was visible to customers waiting in-store prior to them reaching their service window. At this pharmacy, in-store and drive-thru wait times seem to be exactly the same, so I haven't bothered waiting inside recently, and can only vouch for my current drive-thru experience. When I return in the evening, cash-equipped, there is now a sign taped to the drive-up window that says "CASH ONLY". Should this be viewed as progress, an evolution from clipboard to window? EVERYONE WAITING IN LINE STILL CANNOT SEE "CASH ONLY". IT'S ONLY WHEN YOU ARE AT THE ACTUAL WINDOW, AFTER WAITING AT LEAST AN HOUR, THAT YOU ARE INFORMED OF THIS POLICY. TAPE AT LEAST ONE "CASH ONLY" SIGN TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE TO SAVE CUSTOMERS. I AM TYPING IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE I HOPE WALGREENS WILL EVENTUALLY HEAR ME AND STOP UNDERSTAFFING AND (PROBABLY) UNDERPAYING THIS PHARMACY, OR WHATEVER THE UNDERLYING PROBLEM IS. I've never had these issues at another Walgreens pharmacy, or any pharmacy, ever. Even if this location initially seems more convenient, you'll end up wasting more time and headaches than necessary to justify a shorter drive. As stated in my previous review: save yourself and go elsewhere. Sugar Creek Walgreens pharmacy is only declining.

I smiled as he approached and he t me to snap a few photos if I'd like, but he'd be pulling out soon so have fun! He then asked me if Ghost Busters was one of my favorite movie and I replied I've enjoyed watching them and I'm looking forward to the next one! He smiled and said great! It was a nice experience for my sons and I and I got some gas out of the deal!
