I hate SELF check out. It seems like every time I go in there, I HAVE to do self check out. So annoying.

Awful customer service. I live very close to here and come in all the time, and I've spent a good amount of money here over the years. I happen misplaced an item of mine for less than 5 minutes in the store and when I came back to get it they had thrown it out and being that it was a food item (boxed) it was not edible at this point. They wouldn't comp a frozen dinner for us even though they had ruined ours. I understand I should not of have so absent minded but it doesn't hurt anyone to comp a $10 frozen pizza as a replacement and provide good customer service. I'm simply disgusted by the lack of empathy that was shown. read more

This review is based soley on the pharmacy. The rest of the store is a typical CVS - nothing really exciting to write about there. Anwho... the pharmacy. I called in a prescription this past Friday. Unfortunately, I had forgotten that this particular prescription was no longer refillable and would need a doctor's permission to fill. No worries said the automated voice on the CVS phone - We'll call for you! It being the holiday weekend and all my prescription was slated to be ready for pick up Monday afternoon. Monday morning I receive a call from my doctor's office saying that they received the request for my prescription refill and that they will go ahead and give CVS the a-ok. Monday evening around 9pm I go to pick up my prescription. But, alas, it's not there! According to the pharmacist's assistant CVS never received permission from my doctor's office. Yet they didn't feel it was necessary to call me and let me know that my prescription was not ready to be picked up as promised on Friday. The assistant was nice, but he was very adamant about informing me that it was my doctor's fault and not theirs that the prescription was not filled. Apparently even if my doctor's office did fax or email them their permission, CVS doesn't always receive faxes or emails from doctors' offices. Isn't that efficient! They did give me two day's worth of my prescription since I was already two days behind on taking it due to the fact that my doctor's office was closed for the holiday. That was nice of them, but it was not offered to me as a temporary solution (I asked for it). It would be nice if the pharmacy had any care about their patients' health (i.e. going without prescription medication for two days can be very dangerous to some people) or their time (thanks for calling to let me know that I don't have to stop in because my 'script isn't ready). This was the only problem I've had with this pharmacy in the two years I've been going here. I just don't think it should happen at all. read more

Something is very very wrong at this pharmacy. They seem unable to fill prescriptions, or even know what prescriptions have been submitted to them. I have used them since this branch opened but in the last several months things have just ceased to function here....watch out. read more

I have been using this pharmacy for at least 6 years now, and my last visit was my last, I'll be transferring my RX's to Walgreen's. I could handle the slowness and rudeness of the people working in the pharmacy, I've even dealt with them constantly filling my RX's late. What I can deal with is a pharmacy I can't trust, especially since my staying alive is dependent on my RX's. The last time I was in there picking up an RX, I noticed that the price was significantly higher than usual, so I questions the tech as to whether or not if was run through my insurance and he insisted it was. I looked at it - and I was right, it wasn't put through my insurance. So I politely questioned him again, he argued with me, insisting that it went through my insurance. When he finally admitted that it did not go through my insurance, he told me there was nothing they could do about it and I would have to pay full price or go without. Ultimately, I paid the full price because they were already late filling the RX and I was out. But I will not be providing this store with any business, I refuse to even go in for a pack of gum now. And I would highly recommend finding a different pharmacy. It's scary that this pharmacy is allowed to operate the way it does. read more

My mother had knee replacement surgery and was released from the physical therapy rehab needing all of her prescriptions refilled and several new ones. I dropped them all off at 3:00pm and was told they'd be ready in an hour. I returned 4 hours later and was given less than half of the prescriptions. I asked why and Nina the pharmacist said I figured someone called you and then turned her back and walked away. Furious I asked for the rest of the prescriptions and Sonny the pharmacy technician worked diligently to get them ready. Nina the pharmacist never spoke to me again to apologize and looked put out that she had to fill the rest of the prescriptions. It took her an additional hour and 15 minutes to fill the prescriptions while she and her assistant Taylor talked about how Taylor wanted everyone to move fast because she had a date and she was leaving regardless of what else was happening. After an hour and 15 minutes of my elderly mother sitting home alone after knee replacement surgery while it took a total of 5 plus hours to fill prescriptions they still never filled 2 of the prescriptions. Jaclyn, the usual pharmacist is very pleasant and seems to understand there are no less than 6 pharmacies in Brighton that we can use if the service isn't good. Nina apparently missed that part of the training and doesn't get that the customers are what drives CVS's business. I have since moved all of my family's business to Walgreens and suggest anyone reading this do the same. There's no need to put up with such miserable customer service. read more

I agree with Emily B. I've always had my scripts filled promptly and completely. Most of the complaints about slow lines are back in 2008 and 2009. They now have 4 or 5 self service check-out stations. read more

They've made a real effort to improve lately. The shelves have been reorganized, the selection of goods has been reviewed, and they now have self-serve registers which speed up the lines a lot. Much much better than it used to be. Also the pharmacy staff are very helpful. read more

I believe the pharmacy shorted me on pills and we're very rude to me several times. Don't get scripts filled here!

The store has a great selection of products but watch out for some of the customer service people here. Extremely rude and unhelpful. Go to a local store to buy groceries or find another cvs close by to avoid some of the negativity projected by some of the employees here. read more

I went to take passport photo there. There was no body at the photo corner. I waited for about 15 minutes with another couple. Finally, a woman( she is black, a bit short and big with short hair) showed up. She quickly took the photo for the couple first. Then she left and told me the digital camera needs charging. So I waited there for another 15 minutes. Then I saw her walking by, I very nicely asked her whether the camera was ready to take a photo and I have spent 30 minutes waiting. She gave the very dirty look and said very rudely:" I told you it takes 20 minutes to charge. It doesn't get charged by 2 minutes!" And she just refused to help me and left! I had to ask for manager to tell him what happened to me. The manager took the passport photo for me and promised he will talk to her about it. I don't think people with this kind of behave should ever be on the payroll. I even think she tries to take advantage of me because I asked her very nicely and waited patiently. She thought I am easy to get pushed away by her rude behavior. I am not going to let that happen. If she doesn't know how to respect other people, then she should be treated the way she treats other people! Shame on you!! read more

i have been going to this CVS for many, many years,since it 1st opened,i get my mothers and family's medications there,the pharmacy people have always been professional, friendly and most helpful,asking if we needed any information,or calling to let us know a prescription was ready or due for refill,Since she and i have considerable health issues this sort of service is a Godsend.and i would highly recommend this pharmacy to people. read more
