Very slow. Don't waste time if you want reasonable service. Can't pick up prescriptions before work.

The pharmacists and their assistants here are just the nicest. I just can't say enough good things…read moreabout how friendly and helpful they all are. Very quick filling prescriptions. I mean so quick it'll make your head spin! I'm used to the Walgreens in Florida where you rarely, if ever, can get a prescription filled in under 45 minutes (if not longer). Open 24 hours for your convenience. I seriously want to transport the entire staff here back home to Florida! Boy, am I going to miss this drugstore :(

The pharmacy shorted me FIVE painkillers after having a surgery…read more They refused to provide the missing medication or issue a refund for the ones we did not receive. They said there was "nothing they can do." We asked for them to look at cameras-- they said they couldn't see anything clearly. We asked them to count their inventory-- which they said they'd do, but after hours of waiting, they said there was just too many for them to count... In addition, the manager was rude to my husband. Not sure if she was the store manager or pharmacy manager, but either way, we went about the situation kindly and patiently & received no resolution. So, if you're planning on filling a painkiller prescription with them, just know there's a chance one of the employees might take some of your medication. (Not related: If you are military or use the military's insurance, TriCare, avoid Walgreens at all costs as they don't honor it.)

Most of the staff were excellent! My husbands perceptions were filled quickly and the ladies…read morebehind the counter we all super nice and helpful... except for the lady at the pharmacy Rx drop-off counter. She wasn't as pleasant to begin but that's fine, it's a job and people are required to be super nice. Since we have never used this pharmacy I had to complete a form and there weren't any seats available. So I moved to the checkout counter to complete the paperwork. Upon returning the form I told the lady that I wasn't sure if the insurance card was the most recent but it was the same insurance provider/group# etc. She seemed confused or annoyed or something but after her pause she said ok. So I left to shop around. They have some GREAT DEALS on household items, candles, local goods etc. When my husbands name was called and the prescription was ready the total came up and I asked if the insurance had been ran. The cashier checked and was told two reason as to why the insurance didn't pay! NOW MY HUSBAND HAS EXCELLENT INSURANCE! Something that's very rare in today's world! So his insurance NOT PAYING... just does NOT HAPPEN! But the surgery center called and my husband is in recovery so now I don't have time left to deal with this. The only excuse given on one Rx made sense ... but since the surgery was preauthorized etc., and since foe other reason I didn't believe it BUT again it was a nominal cost so ok, whatever! But the excuse given on the second Rx was a FLAT OUT RIGHT LIE! Period! Now never have I needed a PA AND wasn't not told until checkout?!? That seemed crazy to me as well! Usually is there is an issue they tell you immediately to be sure you wan to proceed with filling the script! Or at least that's how it works at EVERY MAJOR PHARMACY I've ever used! Now I was told that a PRIOR AUTHORIZATION WAS REQUIRED... 1st- IF SO, shouldn't the pharmacist start the Initiation process and or also notify dr. Office if they need to be involved? Considering the PA would never be the duty of the prescribed!!! 2nd- we get this medication ALL THE TIME!!! So how does it suddenly need a PA TODAY? Now this isn't our homemaker pharmacy, we won't ever be back!!! But Now I'm so mad! Because I know now she PROBABLY NEVER RAN OUR INSURANCE!!! I don't know if she just didn't want to be bothered! Or if she assumed the cost was so small or if she just THOUGHT!!! She knew what would happen... But again my husband is out of surgery and I'm pressed for time! And if I had spoken to her then I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN FRIENDLY AND I TRY NOT TO SPEAK WHEN IN ANGER! AGAIN, The cashier was SUPER GREAT! So I was upset but I also didn't want to take it out on her! Now to prove that either 1/2 or maybe 3 (she did something wrong) is true, I have attached a picture from the insurance providers website about the medication she claimed a PA was required on! Beware! Idk if this person is just incompetent, scamming people out of money, or just plain lazy... but if you don't frequent this! Beware! Also, NO ONE WVER CONSULTED WOTH ME ON HOW HE SHOULD TAKE THE MEDICATIONS! The one star is just for the cashiers and the store! Skip this pharmacy!

The Walgreens Pharmacy in Flowood, MS has been a complete disappointment. The cashiers Ms. Lisa and…read moreMs. Hailey made my experience a failure due to their lack of professionalism, lack of socialization skills( don't smile, don't greet), and inability to listen. My first negative experience happened when my husband went to pick up one prescription, but they charged him for two of the same medication. That made absolutely no sense. Because I was in the hospital at the time, I returned the extra prescription once I was discharged. When I came in, Hailey gave me an attitude and refused to acknowledge that they were at fault. I had to advocate for myself just to receive my husband's refund. The second incident was even worse. I needed an important medication immediately after being discharged. Walgreens was the only pharmacy that had it. Another pharmacy (that did not have the medication in stock) advised me to try GoodRx since my insurance didn't cover it. I presented my coupon, but Ms. Hailey and Ms. Lisa refused to honor it and declined service altogether. When I returned--10 days postpartum--Ms. Lisa yelled from the drive-through, saying, "I told her what the price was going to be. I don't know why she keeps presenting the same thing. We couldn't honor her price when she called." Completely unprofessional and unnecessary. I came back to the pharmacy. The only positive part of this experience was Ms. Kayden. She remained calm, kind, professional, and helpful--exactly how someone who is ill and postpartum should be treated at a pharmacy. She did what Ms. Hailey and Ms. Lisa should have done from the start. Ms.Kayden reviewed everything and adjusted my price per policy. Ms. Kayden deserves recognition. The behavior from Ms. Hailey and Ms. Lisa needs to be addressed immediately. I have reported the unwarranted behavior to corporate. Ms.Hailey and Ms.Lisa- If you no longer love your job, that's okay. But showing up rude and nasty to people who need assistance isn't professionalism, it's a sign it's time for a new chapter/ a mental issue that is bigger than customer service. You picked your job, the customers did not. Go get an education, get help, (EAPS), and do better for yourselves.

I did an on-line prescription refill. On the date that a selected to pick up the prescription, I…read morechecked on-line and found out that it was picked up. And I didn't pick up the prescription. So on that date I went to the pharmacy and was told that I did pick it up and the manager said that two of his employees verified that I did indeed pick it up and one employee stated that he even helped me find some Ex-lax. Which was not true. The manager (with a smirk) even said "did you just forget that you picked it up.? Which I interpreted it as "that I was so old that I forgot that I had been there. (I am 67 years old and I am not delusional) This didn't sit well with me. So the manager told me he would reach out to my insurance company to see if he could give me the prescription at the same cost. A clerk finally come to counter and said that they could not offer my prescription at the regular cost because the insurance company would not cover a "lost" prescription. The prescription was not lost. So the next day I called my insurance company and filed a report. I went back to the store thinking that I could see who exactly picked up the prescription because they had cameras and was told that I could not. The manager was still saying that I picked the prescription up. So I called the police while i was at the store to file a report. I talked with the officer and he eventually went in and talked to the manager and looked at the cameras. How mysteriously did a customer bring the prescription back and it was just a honest mistake. I think the manager already knew that it was given to somebody else but would not admit it and to even have employees to say that i did pick up the prescription. I eventually went back in the store to get my prescription because the officer said that the manager would give it to me at the same cost. Not even an "I'm sorry we made a mistake or I apologize for your inconvenience" Nothing. Very poor customer service.
