If I could give this pharmacy 0 stars I would. I have never had problems with CVS pharmacies in California but this one in Bozeman is awful. I had a prescription filled by this pharmacy couple months ago and instead of getting 4 pills (my prescription said 4 pills) I only got 2. I trusted them because I hadn't had this type of problems with any pharmacies before so I didn't check while there. I came home and realized I only had 2 pills. I needed the medication correctly for my condition at that time and was frustrated about this reckless mistake. I could not go back to get it myself due to my condition so I had to send someone else to pick it up for me. This pharmacy didn't even offer to drop the medication off to my house since it was their mistake. They said I had to go back there to get the extra 2 pills. I called and was given by the person that filled the prescription a not very genuine apology and a bizarre reason. This person said oh I'm sorry I filled it that way because at times that's the amount we fill this medication for. I was shocked because the prescription said 4 pills and I am not sure why this person ignored the doctors instructions and decided to do whatever. My parents had many problems with this pharmacy as well. They got medications filled with incorrect pills and had missing pills as well. I don't recommend this pharmacy for your needs. Its scary to know that you may not get the correct amount or worse you may get incorrect pills. Go elsewhere. read more

Tonight I went to Urgent Care for a sinus infection and had the script called into this cvs because of the 24hr benefit. I sat in the car and my husband went in to get my antibiotic. When he came back out to the car he was really upset. He told me that the pharmacy tech, Dana, was very rude to him. My husband was on the phone while getting the script - he was trying to confirm that my father-in-law had a netti pot. Dana told my husband that she wasn't going to help him until he got off the phone. Later, when my husband asked for Sudafed behind the counter Dana asked if he wanted the 12, 24 or 36. He asked if that was number of pills and she repeated herself with a condescending attitude. Later my mom told me that she had filled some scripts at that same cvs a month ago and waited a long time and then also spoke with a tech that was rude. I love the cvs in my hometown. It's too bad that this one is so awful and obviously, from the reviews, it's been a problem for years. read more

What the hell? So, I had a back injury and had to go the ER, and since my regular pharmacy was closed, I had to go to CVS. There were only two pharmacists working, and so they were backed up like crazy. When I dropped off my two prescriptions, it was around 7:00 pm. I asked the woman entering in my information if she could sign me up for text alerts for when it was ready. She did, and I received a verification text soon after. She said my prescriptions would be available by 8:15 pm (over an hour later??) So I waited, and waited...annnd waited. Finally, at 8:30, I still hadn't received a text, so I went back into the store. There was only one pharmacist there, and he was helping a guy at the drive-thru window. I overheard him tell the guy that his wait would be about twenty minutes. What?? I had already been waiting over an hour! So he came to help me finally, and I asked what was going on with my prescriptions. They were filled, and on the shelf, and I hadn't received any text at all. What's the point of signing up for text alerts if you don't even get them?? I was in major pain, had three kids waiting at home for me with my husband--who needed to be on duty at 9:00 pm, and so I was in a hurry. Finally at about 10:00 am today, I got a text...saying my prescriptions were ready--AFTER I'D ALREADY PICKED THEM UP LAST NIGHT. What a joke. I have been treated terribly by this pharmacy so many times that I will be taking my business elsewhere. I had my husband drop off two prescriptions for pain killers that were given to me by my doctors: one after surgery and one after a routine visit. While both of the doctors were aware of the issue and both had agreed to it, I understand how fishy this looks. CVS refused to give me the larger prescription. They told us to have my routine doctor call them and they would fill it for me. I did so and yet they still refused. Since it is very hard to get to town in the winter it was hard for us to get back down there to get it filled again. When my husband went back again, they refused to fill it again, this time claiming that they never got the first phone call. I called to find out what to do next and I was told yet again to have them call again. But this time she got rude immediately and then hung up on me. I called again and she hung up on me again. So, I talked to corporate and was treated like a drug addict yet again. They told me that they have no obligation to give me my prescription under any circumstances, even if I jump through all there stupid hoops from my sick bed after surgery. The best part is that this same situation has happened to me numerous times regardless of whether I had two of them or not. They are just bound and determined to treat me (and everyone else I know who has gone there) like garbage because we get opiates. I never had this kind of a problem with any other pharmacy in town. They were at least nice to us if they encountered a problem and didn't treat us like the scum of the earth! If I could give them less than one star, I would! read more

I got my COVID-19 vaccine here and the nurse who administered my second dose was amazing. I believe her name was Cheryl. She was very sweet, taught me how to relax my arm so it wouldn't be as sore the next day, she gave me tips (such as staying hydrated to support the work my immune system was doing), and expressed genuine care for how I would feel the next day. This honestly should be a 0 star review. I am writing on behalf of a local Doctor Office. The pharmacy does not take the side of the patient and do any extra investigation if things are not right or something is off with a prescription from the Doctor. They instead wait until the Doctors office calls them DAYS LATER to do their work for them. The patients are suffering with 5,6,7,8 days of wait time for no reason. They do not initiate anything on behalf of the patient. At one point, they told the customers that they do not have time to call the doctors office on their behalf, for they are too busy. This pharmacy has horrid communication and perpetuates a culture of incompetence and negligence in all areas. Please, chose a better option for your healthcare. read more

Today I called in to CVS to have a prescription refilled. I've been with CVS since the closing of the Kmart pharmacy (God I miss that place). I called in at about 3:30 a.m., the time I go to work. It was for some pills and a box of syringes (I'm a diabetic). I arrived at CVS at about 1:30 p.m. after work. I was told that they were "processing" the syringes and that they would call me to the counter in about 10 minutes. 15 minutes later I was called, only to be told that they didn't have syringes in stock. When I asked when they would be in stock I got a "maybe tomorrow?" response. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time this has happened to me by CVS. Other complaints I have is the completely impersonal, cold treatment the employees have. I have no doubt that it is directly related to the "revolving door" of employees there. After dealing with them for well over a year (probably closer to 2 years) I only recognize 2 people behind the counter, the rest of the faces change every other week. I have had them give me someone else's prescriptions, made me wait for another prescription that was called in ahead of time (that time was for 45 minutes), and one particular time that completely infuriated me. I had my wisdom teeth extracted. It was particularly painful, as the dentist had to break one from my upper jaw. It actually left a small hole to my sinus cavity, which, in turn gave me an intense nose bleed. I was prescribed some pain killers and so I went to CVS. As I was standing at the counter, my nose started gushing. The girl at the counter looked at me in total disgust as I was explaining my situation and instead of even offering me a simple tissue, told me to sit down and wait for the prescription to be filled. I could see them talking and looking over at me as I tried to mop up my face with my shirt tail. I felt embarrassed and furious by the insensitive nature of their staff. After dealing with today's episode, I've decided enough is enough. I went to Rosaurers and spoke to the pharmacist there. He seems like a truly nice man and very professional. I will be using them from now on. CVS is a mindless, faceless corporation who cannot keep a reliable staff for very long. I will never set foot in that place ever again. read more

If I was able to give this a no star rating I would. On Wednesday 7/23/2014 I tried to drop off a prescription for my daughter through the drive through. The employee, Weston, gave me dirty looks and told me they wouldn't have the prescription in until next week. Then I had to ask for my ID back TWICE!!! I went home and called the pharmacy and I got Weston back on the phone who then told me the prescription would be available tomorrow. I went back the next day and submitted the prescription, which they now had, and set it up to be sent in the mail on Friday morning 7/25/2014. Great... FINALLY! Or so I thought, but yet again these employees lied to me. I got a text message on 7/26/2014 that the prescription was available for pickup. I then called the store, who says they can't mail this to my daughter(on vacation at her fathers house in another state and this happens every year and I have gone through CVS so they should know this as they SHOULD keep records on file), who is now out of her medication because of these lying, dishonest pharmacists have no idea what is going on. They mailed same prescription for me in the past, without my asking, they offered to do it. I had no reason to believe it was to be different this time. If rules change, I understand that, but I want a straight answer and honest employees working in the pharmacy. If this is something they choose to be dishonest about, and customer service does not matter to them, I wonder what else they may be dishonest about. I am almost out of medications and I've called this place three times this weekend to get my scripts transferred to my hometown. The first time the lady lectured me about how I was wrong about how this works, I asked why she was being rude and she put on an air about not being rude (as if that were hers to decide). I called later that day and waited twenty minutes with nobody picking up. I called today and the same lady picked up. I asked her why she was doing this (again) and she proceeded to lecture me and then hung up. A bit of background info: in December of 2018 I went to pick up meds which I was low on. They told me they didn't have it and would have it friday. Friday comes along and I go back, I am told that they don't have it and that I need to find somewhere else to obtain the medication. I called around and eventually discovered that CVS failed to notify me of the DRUG DISCONTINUATION that had been announced on the FDA website in July of that year. Its good that I had a different medication still being made. During the period of time between the drug discontinuation and finding this out, I received WEEKLY calls to pick up meds almost as if they were trying to sell off old stock. I am done with this CVS, and CVS as a whole. I've been a customer there for over ten years, but you've lost me, CVS. read more

Dear CVS, The trip to this establishment could be summed up in one word. Breathtaking. As I walked into the store, post reading the reviews, I expected pure madness. Although the people passing through Bozeman, Montana had less than lovely opinions about the service here, I disagree. I walked toward isle 9, searching for one thing only, Carlo Rossi Paisano Wine. Although the one staff member had no opinion on our lord and savior, Carlo Rossi, I could sense that he wanted us to choose Paisano. There was a sale. My group and I were able to purchase one fluid gallon of red wine for no more than 11.99. It was sensational. As we made the way toward the register, the reviews of this specific CVS flooded my mind. Would my day be ruined? Would this experience end up in tears? Would I need to give this CVS one star once again? No. Joe greeted us with a smile. We discussed our weekends, the photography isle, and many other wonders. This CVS gets 1.5 stars by most but I just cannot agree. I vote 5. If I could give 5.1, I would. My next 21 hours has been affected. I cannot come down from this experience. If anything, I feel pure ecstasy. Thank you Joe, for proving the pharmacy employees WRONG. read more

This place is a disaster and an embarrassment for the corporation. Every time I need to pick up a prescription, there is some kind of a problem and they are always rude about it. Twice now in two weeks my orthopedist has called in a prescription and they said that they don't have it. Unfortunately, each time I have stopped in to reload a cash card that they sold me, they are unable to add money to it. As I was on the phone sitting by my computer for the "22+" minutes it took for me to speak to a pharmacist at 7:30PM I started reading the reviews of CVS (as you've probably noticed most of em stink). As time went by I decided "What the heck", I'll write one of my own. CVS automatically gets one star for having a drive up window where I can pick up prescriptions without having to get out of the car and another for being able to pick them up 24 hours a day, I like those two things a lot, 2 stars. As I set there trying to think of a reason to give them a 3rd star or even possibly more the time dragged on and even before the phone was finally answered I realized why there were all the bad reviews on this place.
