I read the previous YELP reviews and was surprised. I went there a few days ago to fill my Mothers medications. She had many prescriptions and when I asked for help from Zack at the counter he could not have been more helpful! He was so sweet and kind and took the time to call over the pharmacist and they wrote on all the RXs whether she needs to take them in the morning or the afternoon etc. the place was clean and when I was there the line was short. I really liked the way.Zack and Cory handled explaining things to me and caring that I should be okay. As I was leaving Zack was quick to mention that they deliver if Mom needs to have things delivered. He was way above the normal CVS clerk working in retail. As I stand at the drop off counter (being ignored) I am reminded why I hate CVS. Tip: if you want service go to the drive through or go to Walgreens. This place deserves no stars. The staff is inept and rude. But, alas it's not the staff, it is the culture of this horrible place. read more

The actual pharmacy sucks! If you want to speak to a pharmacist or pharm tech on the phone during the day don't even bother trying to call. I've waited over 30 mins for someone to answer every time before that it's been 15 mins or longer! The people working at that pharmacy all have sarcastic or nasty attitudes and the Red head chick always has a shit face on like she hates her job. One of the pharmacy techs just screamed into the phone "OK YEAH ILL HAVE YOUR STUFF READY IN 30 MINUTES SURE" after asking him politely if that was possible. He was very sarcastic and literally yelling like a lunatic. No idea what is wrong with these people.. idk if they're slipping drugs from under the table and acting like fools but they need to change. Just very unprofessional. There are definitely better pharmacies around however, this place will suffice when you need a 24hr CVS and if they're the only ones around who are carrying your script at the moment! read more

Wow......where do I start? Absolutely, positively the worst pharmacy I have ever had the displeasure of going to. I will start when I got there. My son needed a prescription filled and my daughter needed dinner. We stopped by CVS at 5:11 on Monday evening and dropped off my son's prescription. The guy at the drive through told me it would be ready in an hour. Great, dinner would take at least that long. My daughter and I went to dinner and returned at 6:36 and went inside because I needed to get some other stuff. When we got through the line, I was told that they had yet to put my prescription through the insurance for some reason and I was told I would have to wait another 20 minutes. My daughter and I sat down and waited. While I was waiting for my 20 minutes, they served 5 people. 2 of the 5 were given incomplete prescriptions, another 2 were quoted prices well above what they had paid at other locations even though they were on fixed cost plans, and the 5th actually got what he wanted at the right price. I got back in line, expecting to get back up to the counter quickly. Unfortunately, it took another 15 minutes for them to process the 3 people in front of me. When I got to the front of the line, the girl went and asked the guy processing the prescriptions where my scrip was. He told her that the insurance had rejected it. I asked how that was possible and when they told me the insurance company name, I told them that we hadn't used them for more than 6 years and had filled multiple prescriptions in the interim. I also asked why I had sat there for 30 minutes while nothing was being done on my prescription. The guy said he was helping the next customer! Needless to say, by this point I was furious. I told them to give me my scrip back and that I was going to another pharmacy to fill it. I Then accosted the manager, who while watching his pharmacy go down in flames, felt it was super important to count down one of the cash registers rather than help ring up customers. When I explained the circumstances to him, he looked at me like a deer in headlights. Mouth open to catch flies and no response. I took my scrip down the road to Publix. I explained to the gentleman that took the scrip the issues I had at CVS and he told me I wasn't the first to express dissatisfaction with them to him. The most amazing part..... exactly 7 minutes later, my daughter and I were on our way home, prescription in hand. I can honestly say, CVS has lost my business for everything, forever. I will never step foot inside one of their stores again. I did call their customer service line after the incident and make a report. The regional pharmacy manager called me within half an hour and took down more information as I remembered it. He also said I was not the first complaint they had at that location and that he was working on getting new, better trained staff in place. Regardless, I don't think there is anything they can do to save me as a customer short of giving me a $1000 shopping spree at the store and a guarantee that my scrips will be ready within 20 minutes, no matter when I go in. read more

I have decided to take my business and health care medication needs elsewhere. I have never met such rude lazy Underqualified pharmacists in my life! People say that I'm not the only one and I highly recommend avoiding going inside rather than just try the drive through. Worst pharmacy I've experienced. This location can not get a simple prescription and refill order correct. I had to have the doctor call in the Rx 3 times before it was logged into their system and ultimately labeled inactive due to their fault. The pharmacy manager, Latoya is completely lacking any skills to make an error created by the pharmacy made right. Wish I could give this location a lower rating. read more

The pharmacy is super slow. But I go here because I don't like the Publix Pharmacy. Just call in advance to make sure your prescription is ready and go through the drive through. It makes waiting easier. read more

If I could give this CVS a negative star review I would. The pharmacy is a complete disaster. Whether you go inside, wait in the drive thru, or just call plan on waiting a really, really LONG time. I understand that this is a busy location but maybe they need more staff or more efficiency? All I can say is that it is a disaster almost all the time (except in the middle of the night) and they must do something to change this. I hope they can improve their situation quickly. read more

Don't go here!! The very definition of INCOMPETENT. Went on Tues afternoon for flu shot. Was told it was very busy & would take 30 min. Was told that before 8am it was much faster. Returned today at 7:20 am. Asked for the form to fill out. 2 individuals told me they weren't trained to do it. After 10 mins pharmacist came to the counter & handed me the form. That takes a lot of training. Returned to the counter & was told it would take 30-40 minutes because all 3 employees at pharmacy were looking for a prescription they had lost for another customer. Talked to manager Visar Kastrati who went to see pharmacist & returned to tell me there was nothing he could do. How about resigning? I think it was lost in translation when I told him it was ironic that the tel # to call to complain to corporate was 1-800-SHOP CVS, which I will no longer be doing. I always say that when the employees are incompetent it is the fault of management at corporate. They should terminate the manager and every other incompetent employee and start over. Have to leave now; I'm on my way to Walgreen's to get my flu shot. The corporate customer service was polite & asked me why the pharmacist couldn't just give the shot that takes 2 min? Duh! BTW, why doesn't Yelp allow a rating of ZERO? read more

Review relates to Pharmacy only at 9940 Yamato in Boca. Really poor service. Pharmacy staff is insolent and unfriendly. I assume it is a reflection of their on site management (Giovanni) and overall corporate culture. Going back to Wallgreens, where at least the employees are responsive, take responsibility for making sure you obtain needed prescriptions, and are pleasant to deal with. read more

By far the worst CVS I have ever been. I'm appalled by the way I was treated this evening at this CVS. I went to exchange something I bought at 1pm in the CVS in St. Andrews. As soon as I walk into the store the young man in the cash register tells me he needs me to leave my package that I'm exchanging in the front with him. I found it kind of odd but I left it there. When I go to the front to exchange my item and return a hair product that they did not have, Jina, the supervisor, tell me in a very condescending manner " DO YOU HAVE A RECIPT FOR THIS?" By now I am in shocked that she is treating as if I am a crook. Then I proceed to open the bag and she says "we are not allowed to exchange things from other stores." CVS has been my pharmacy for over fifteen years, I live in Boca for the last three years. I have NEVER been so offended in my entire life. I will contact the district manager for this store and my lawyers as well. read more

Absolutely worst customer service. If my insurance let go anywhere else I would never set foot in this store again. Pharmacy usually has 5-7 people in it but only 1 at register until line is 10 or more. When you call you average 15 minutes of hold time BEFORE someone in pharmacy picks up.
