*Updated Review* This CVS location is closest to me but it's not good! They don't have self-check out in this day and age. Usually there's only one or two cashiers, more often than not, just one and the lines are out of control. Alot of times, they don't have what I'm looking for. The last time I was here, there was a very aggressive guy outside asking for money. They need to do something about this store. This store is always busy! But I don't want to give credit where is it due! The store is understaffed but is always clean and nice and neat compared to alot of other store in the area that have staff just walking around looking clueless! Love this store! Keep up the good job guys!! read more

I have to tell you, I get so confused in this area that I have no idea where I am at some points. Especially when the address of the business says it is in one community, but you are actually in another community. This location states it is Belstville, but when you pull into the plaza there is a huge sign saying welcome to Calverton. I have given up on attempting to understand directions down here that include community names and rely solely on landmarks and road names. I came here as my usual pharmacy didn't have the medication I needed. Or at least the type of medication in the form prescribed. I showed up near closing time for the pharmacy and knew I wasn't going to get my prescription that day. I just wanted to make sure they had it and I would return at a later time to pick it up. Before leaving, they were able to confirm that the medication was in stock and informed me I would have to return at least the next day to give them time to fill the prescription. I was fine with that, especially given the fact that they were extremely busy when I showed up. The next day I get a text that my medication was ready for pick up and I make my way back here. Much less congestion at the pharmacy desk and I was able to get in and out fairly quickly. I feel like CVS is keeping this plaza alive as the supermarket spot upped and left. There really isn't much else drawing people to this plaza. read more

Ok, I had the worst experience here ever...I came in to purchase items listed in CVS weekly ad. The guy who rang me up his name is Messan. I wanted to purchase 2/$5. And clearly I could get $5ECB that's whole reason I'm there to purchase. First of all, he should actually read CVS AD- it stated "any cvs brand," NOT HOW THE LOTION PICTURE ON THE AD DIDNT LOOK LIKE THE LOTIONS I WANTED TO PURCHASE. I had to go back, snap a picture, and showed it to him. But still, he told me if I bought 2 for $5 and got $5ECB that mean it's free. EXACTLY genius...that is the whole purpose....why the hell did he waste my damn time. If it's free than its free! Oh, he even called his manager out to look and she said it's exactly the same as I stated...SHE TOLD HIM TO GIVE IT TO ME...yet he still didnt want to sale?? The eff? No one is stealing your damn money...it MFR they reimburse the damn money back anyways. I came to purchase not a criminal and don't waste my god damn time. read more

Line wrapped around the aisle with one teller. Manager says only two people here and he keeps cutting pictures. Should of stated as soon as I'm done I'll help get the line down. This is a truly awful CVS. There's usually a long line to drop off prescriptions. When you finally make it to the front they ask if you'll be waiting, and if you say yes, if you're *lucky* they say, "Ooookkkk, well that's going to be 45 minutes," but more often it's 2 to 4 hours. How can they stay in business when Rite Aid advertises 15 minute prescription filling? This CVS rarely bothers to call if there's a holdup or problem with your prescription. Rather, you're expected to drive back, wait in nearly always long pick up line, and then be told that there was a problem. Avoid if possible. read more

Alan (the GOOD pharmacist) is now retired. I brought in the SAME prescriptions I have filled here for many years last week to be told they "didn't have a doctor (???) to order medications & they were using what they had and ran out." The wait, no matter what the time, is always long, even just to drop off a prescription. They usually have one pharmacist & 1-2 techs which is NOT enough for this extremely busy location. Maybe if I came in at 2am I wouldn't have a line. I'm disabled & walking/standing is excruciating. I STILL do not have one of my prescriptions filled. Thank God I had left over. Hopefully I can bring it in this week & get it filled. They need to hire more pharmacists & pharmacy techs. I'm about done with this CVS. read more

I go to CVS because of my prescription plan and because it's local. The prices are pretty high so I don't shop there unless its something I need right away. Otherwise I go to Walmart or Target. read more

I went there this morning. I used my credit card & it didn't go through. I tried another & didn't go through. So I used my debit which should have worked & once again didn't go through. The lady at the counter got in an attitude with me saying she can't do anything instead of finding another solution. Every time I come & she's at the counter it's the same thing. This is not the first time. I have not been happy with the customer service there from her at all. read more

The pharmacy is understaffed and wait times are beyond what I would consider reasonable. 45 minutes to get a flu shot and next day when I called to see if I could get their automated phone messages to stop spamming my home phone late at night. I was on hold for 45+ minutes over 3 calls, two of which they dropped the connection. The service has become terrible. The pharmacist is great but until more customers leave the volume of work exceeds the capacity of the staff to handle it. read more

I use this CVS simply for the convenience of the location. I have been in this pharmacy several times and each time I'm there the service that I receive continues to be awful. I understand that the pharmacy is always busy and they seem to be understaffed each time that I'm there. The issue is this, people go to a pharmacy because they have to. They are sick or in pain or don't feel good. There is NO reason to be rude to people who are just trying to fill a script. Today, besides the wait time, I was also told to wait by the pharmacist who was completing an order and had to be pulled several times by other staff members for whatever reason. Then she was outright rude and had an attitude. If you are that miserable at your job, maybe you shouldn't be there or maybe you need to be in a job where you do not deal with people. Bottom line is that if want to be treated as a valued customer, you will not receive it using this pharmacist. read more

Tiffany I believe is her name. At least that's the name on my receipt she did not wear a name tag. She was beyond rude she didn't act like she wanted to even be at work. I asked for a product to be unlocked she rolled her eyes. She ultimately got it. We met again at the register again she was very rude, she actually walked away without saying anything and had someone else help me. I actually used to manage a cvs in the area, so at that point I let her know this was some sort of mystery shop to let the market manager know what's happening in these stores. Long story short I never do this but I was so pissed off I've managed several retail stores and if any of my employees did what she did she would be fired or performance managed that day. I will make some phone calls to ensure her performance is followed up on. Cute girl horrible attitude. read more

Absolutely the slowest most disorganized pharmacy I have ever used. Staff changes constantly and is a clear indication of management. I am becoming concerned about getting the correct meds. I have been coming here for 24 years but never seen it this bad. One of needs to make a change. If you're looking for a pharmacy don't start up here! read more
