The bathroom here can't be up to code. There was no tissue paper in the first stall so I went to the second stall and the tissue was hanging off of an unfastened roll. There was no soap in either dispenser. I told the cashier up front that there wasn't any and she told me that it's because people steal it... so is no one washing their hands throughout the day ??? Like others have said this CVS pharmacy is terrible. My brother has dementia and goes to the pharmacy with his care giver. The pharmacy had previously said the caregiver could come to the pharmacy and they would call me and I could give them my credit card number over the phone. But when the caregiver showed up with my brother they refused to accept the card over the phone. I called the corporate office and while on the phone with them the pharmacy closed five minutes early. Even the main office was upset. My brother had to go without his life saving medication for two days! This pharmacy clearly has problems. Do yourself a favor and use a different pharmacy. read more

Convenient location. The employees were efficient and kind. They had what I needed and pricing was fair.

CVS pharmacies are conveniently located and carry a huge variety of items in case you forgot some items from your regular grocery shopping. There is a huge variety of makeup, facial/ skin care choices, house cleaning items, drinks, soups, snacks, vitamins, health care items. They sell blood pressure machines, candy, nuts and a reasonable selection of wines. Posters and picture printing services are also offered. This is really a mini grocery store just missing fresh veggies and fruits. Today I had a small pharmacy item to pick up and a nice service is that your physician can send a prescription in and then CVS can send you a text when it is ready. The staff is friendly and a rewards program offers coupons tied to some of your regular purchases and sometimes direct cash coupons off of your purchase. The pharmacy staff could be a little friendlier and their consultation area and pickup area should more privacy given that you are discussing healthcare and insurance issues. I like the variety in the store and good locations. There is always something on sale and buy one get one free offers. I am a regular shopper here. read more

If I could give a zero, I would. Mariel the pharmacist purposely filled my prescription incorrectly and then insisted she was correct. The prescription was for three months of birth control pills, taking only active pills. She insisted that the doctor didn't specifically request four boxes, therefore (even though she knew she was only giving me two months of pills I could actually use) she refused to fill the prescription for three full months. My insurance (ironically CVS Caremark, which is also a nightmare to work with) won't refill until the end of three months. Thanks for totally screwing me over and leaving me without a month of birth control, Mariel! read more

The Pharmacy is the worst I have ever dealt with and I am 61 years old! My doctor sent in the prescription on 6/1 today is 6/11!. A very common medication. I called every day to follow up on it, they never tried to contact me once. I got an answer today and now they say that one of my other medications conflict with it. This is your every day CVS. They always have my prescriptions in a timely fashion and service is fine. I like that they can text you when your prescriptions are ready for pick up to avoid having to wait around, as well as a drive through pharmacy. Staff is friendly, I have never had any issues. It gets 3 stars instead of 4 because the corner it is located on is a nightmare to get in and out of traffic wise. Great seasonal items, and you can find some good deals along every isle. read more

This is a tough review. The CVS itself is excellent. The Pharmacy is horrible. More than once I have stopped in to drop off a prescription and let them know I will wait. Both times more than 45 minutes went by before I finally went to see what the heck was going on. Each time they said that they called me. I don't think so. The last time I asked the girl if she even knew my name. (No. No she didn't). She then proceeded to tell me that she couldn't take coupons for my other purchases there. (Uhhh... Yeah you can!) The rest of the store is pretty decent. It's small but close to my house, so I like it. The girl that helped me turn slides my Dad sent me into a DVD was SUPER helpful and I really liked how she went out of her way to help me and make me feel at ease about sending these priceless slides out. If the Pharmacy can get its act together, I'll re-review. The problem is I usually go in because I have to deal with the pharmacy. read more

Worst customer service ever from the pharmacy the pharmacy manager is so uncaring I have been waiting on my meds since the 29th of September I visit this location twice a week only to be told a different story as to why I can't get my meds. I call the pharmacy and patiently wait for over an hour for someone to pick up the phone so I can get all these inconsistent stories. When I get to the pharmacy I wait in long lines because the staff is over work with not enough workers one cashier at the window one at the front register an one pharmacist this is ridiculous yet I still remain loyal I have been with CVS Apopka for years I spend all my money in this store use my points I am very disappointed in the Main st Apopka location I don't recommend no one to shop in this pharmacy the workers said this is a new pharmacy manager and he doesn't like to fill certain medications with that being said he's in the wrong line of work. read more

Gross drive through. Has all kinds of insect nests and dirt up the walls, along the window, and on the ceiling. I reported it to a manger inside and he feigned concern, but that was weeks ago and the drive through is still nasty and unpleasant. You'd think it would be a little more clean since the sick people picking up their prescriptions have weakened immune systems. read more

This is my local pharmacy and it can get super busy. It's got all the usual stuff you can find at a CVS store, so not going to comment on that. But one area of improvement def has to do with resourcing staff to provide adequate service levels. I went here after work and it was a loooong queue as there was only one person at the check-out. So I think store manager def needs to see traffic patterns and adequately staff up!! read more

Horrible experience I had today only 2 people where working and I came in to get a flue shot for my nursing program, and the lady that was in charge a young white looking lady was rushing and everything happened so fast that I don't even think she cleaned me with achohol wipe, she basically stabbed me with the needle and it hurt, the last time I went I didn't even feel the pinch it was done by an older white man , he is amazing and made me feel welcomed and greeted me and gave me instructions before the shot and did everything perfectly I really appreciate him he was really nice and sweet, but this lady was rushing so bad that she didn't even take her gloves of after she was done taking my shot and grabbed my paper documents with her gloves very unprofessional, and there was no safety, this was a very bad experience today , I wish none of you have go through this....very upsetting how I learned so much about safety in my nursing program and the pharmacy staff doesn't apply it .. read more

If you have RX insurance that is x% off of the retail price, Don't Go Here! I just changed insurance companies, and at the point of sale, paid a higher price on my RX than I was told it would cost by the insurer. Apparently, CVS has a very high mark up, and my RX's retail price would have been $47 cheaper at Costco!, then Costco would have applied the insurance discount too! A 50% difference! I called CVS afterward, and they said they wouldn't do anything about it-no rebates, returns, nothing. She even said I am welcome to blog about it, so I am! Buyer beware!!!! read more

Worst pharmacy I've ever had to deal with! First of all we're talking about a case were we needed to get meds for someone with a terminal illness, and the pharmacist was rude got an attitude when he realized he'd have to call the insurance and verify information. He simply didn't care and didn't want to help. He went as far as to talk down to me and then hang up. If you have a job where peoples lives depend on what your doing you need to first of all be willing to do your work even in cases where a little more work is required you also have to be someone composed and not act like a child. oh and CARING would be a plus! Keep in mind I did not yell or curse or anything this guy was just mad he'd have to do more in this case. So someone whos life depends on these meds still doesn't have them because this guy wouldn't do what he needed. So if things get really bad considering the doc called after her office hours (as soon as she got his labs back) to insist he start his meds 3 days ago and the only reason we don't have them yet is this pharmacy, I hope this guy would realize he was part of the reason things got so bad because he wouldn't do his job to get someone's meds to stop their sickness from getting worse. And its not like the insurance won't cover it he just didn't want to call and verify the info. I guess it would take too much of his precious time. Maybe next time he'll consider the people that don't have that much time left! read more
