I moved every prescription my partner and I had out of this pharmacy. If I could give a 0* review, I would. Here's what happened. I take a blood pressure medication that this store stocks in blister packs, which I have trouble opening. When I switched to a 90-day supply I asked for it in a bottle, and that's how they filled it in February -- same store, same prescription, no problem. June 20, I came in for four prescriptions. The blood pressure one came out in blister packs again. I paused at the window, asked the clerk to confirm that's what it was, and handed the sealed bag straight back to her, unopened. Never left her hands for more than a few seconds. They refunded my copay and said they'd special-order a bottle and call me. I mentioned I had two to three weeks of pills left. No call came. July 18, down to my last few pills, I went in to ask. The order had never been placed. Instead of just telling me that, the pharmacy manager questioned whether I'd really handed the medication back, asked repeatedly why I hadn't called sooner, and pressed me about a gap in my fill history from May. When I started to explain that I'd been out of state for a family funeral and filled it at a pharmacy there, he cut me off. He said he'd place the order. He didn't say how long it would take. August 2, I came to pick it up. Nothing was ready. The manager came to the window and told me it had arrived the next day, that he'd called me multiple times over three weeks, and that it had gone back to stock because I never came in. It had been fifteen days, not three weeks. My phone records show three calls from this pharmacy in that window -- two were pickup notifications for my partner's prescriptions and one left no message. Nothing ever told me my medication had arrived. When I tried to answer a question he'd just asked me, he talked over me before I got three words out. I asked him -- and yes, I swore -- whether he was going to let me finish a sentence. He threw up his hands, said he wouldn't be cursed at, and walked away from the window, leaving me sitting there with no medication and no answer. I parked and walked in to ask who his manager was. He gave me a first name only, refused to tell me who he reports to, said to call 1-800-CVS, and then told me that unless I apologized I could leave the store or he'd call the police. I got home shaking and my partner had to help me calm down. Not once in any of this did anyone say we made a mistake, I'm sorry, I'll have it here next week. Every conversation was built around establishing that the problem was me. I moved all of my prescriptions - and those of my partner - to Costco. And then it got expensive. Their system still shows that blood pressure medication as picked up on June 20 -- the packs I handed back at the window. Because that claim was never reversed, my insurance considered me supplied and wouldn't cover a replacement at my new pharmacy. I paid $92 out of pocket rather than go any longer without it. Five weeks between running out and getting pills in my hand. Their own records date all four prescriptions from that June 20 visit wrong. Filed with corporate and with the Georgia Board of Pharmacy. If they make the $92 right I'll update this. The techs here have always been kind and I don't have a bad word for any of them. But the Pharmacist himself is rude, hostile, accusatory, and sexist. His name is Steven/Stephen. If you take a maintenance medication you actually need, know that when this pharmacy makes a mistake, you are the one who pays for it. read more

This CVS has a 1.5 star average rating and I can't say I'm surprised. I've encountered probably some of the rudest and least caring pharmacy staff here. Not sure why I still go here sometimes. I think it's because I believe in giving places chances. The final straw was my previous experience. I had a ready prescription that was the last day to pick it up. I head over early enough in the day to pick it up. The staff were of no help and had a bad attitude. They told me that their system was down and they would write down my information to call me when it's ready. So I give them my information. I asked for an estimate and she said maybe today, maybe not. So unhelpful? I already have to make another trip back again. I also asked if I would still be able to pick it up since it's the last day available for pick up. And she said yes but wasn't sure. I come back a second time later in the day to check since I hadn't received any phone call or an answer when I called. A different staff told me again that their system is down and that they would write down my information to call me and to not put back my prescription. I ask again if I would be able to pick it up because it's the last day. The next day, I still hadn't received any calls. So I head back for a THIRD time to try to pick up my prescription. I go there and they say there's no prescription available for me??? I told the whole story again about how 2 different staff took down my information yesterday and said I would be able to still pick it up. But they still put my prescription back. They would have to fill it again and tell me to wait 10 minutes. After 15 minutes, I stand in line again and it still isn't filled. And the staff asked me what my dose of medication is which showed me how unorganized they are. After waiting for a long time, I finally get it. Because of an error on their end, I had to make 3 trips just to pick up a prescription. They put multiple notes down but I still never received any phone calls and they still put my prescription back. There is no communication or organization here. Don't waste your time here. Luckily, my medication was not an urgent case where I needed it asap. But I do worry for any other customer that has an urgent case like that. read more

Rude Pharmacy Staff telling me my prescription is not covered after arguing with me they show me a piece of paper that clearly states it is covered. After paying (more than I should have) I rang my insurance and they said the same pharmacy had called them and the insurance co had confirmed everything was covered but due to them not understanding - argued with my Insurance co also. Not sure If they are just trying to play the system or whether they truly just don't understand, but don't take your prescriptions from here read more

I have been filling prescriptions here for literally 30 Years and they have gone so downhill it's infuriating. The pharmacy staff is unhelpful and not sorry about it one bit. I had a worst experience with this pharmacy staff. The staff looked at me like a worm and shut the door on my face. I booked covid drive thru test for my kid who has been sick. The online booking site was bad and not user friendly at all. It took me 30 mins to book an appointment. Finally got the confirmation. After driving to the pharmacy on time, the lady at the drive thru window was rude and said I need to cancel the appointment and rebook at some other location. If they don't have a system, why did they took the appointment. She shut the window without even apologizing for the inconvenience. No courtesy and no empathy. Such a worst customer care. I felt so upset and helpless. Since that was late in the day, I have to drive back home with my sick kid and have to wait to get an appointment for the next day. read more

This CVS is absolute ghetto which is very odd for being in Johns Creek! Every time I come here it takes over 10 minutes to get your prescription when your first in line. I went there today and this is the final nail in the coffin. The drive-through was closed yet again and by the way the drive-through is absolutely scary to go down and see pictures below. When inside there were five people behind the counter, about three minutes later I was said hold on will be right with you five minutes later I was asked oh how can I help. I have been a CVS loyal customer for over 20 years and I am now moving all of my prescriptions to Walgreens and not looking back. This place is the WORST. I transferred a prescription to Kroger (because the cvs pharmacist was rude to me regarding a flu shot last week). 3 hours after the request (and a phone call from the Kroger pharmacist) they still had not faxed over the transfer. One hour ago the Kroger pharmacist and I called the separately to ask why they had still not sent the fax. The CVS pharmacist told me she had just faxed it. Now 1 hour later and still no fax. The pharmacist lied to me!!!!! Finally faxed it after two more phone calls! Pharmacists are in the healthcare, healing business. Please don't trust your health to this pharmacy. read more

Worst ever. When I went to pick kid's prescription I was stared at like I am some worm. If you as a pharmacist know covid is around and are going to treat every cough as covid laden just wear mask. WHY THE DISGUSTING STARES? Something in air irritated my throat and I did cough. Lady says go drink water. Their cooler sells juices alcohol but not water. I gave it a minute come back. N ow I am starred at more and made to wait as punishment, they had the prescription out n ready the first time I was there. At WAG if you pick any OTC. the pharmacy will check it out. I m asked to go upfront. Front desk sees I HAVE Benadryl and says do self check out. Which of course needs cashier to enter my DOB. Again I. am made to wait.Frustrated I ask where's the manager. This review is based primarily upon the entrance and lack of management to address the cleanliness of their store's customer entrance. There's a large garbage container in the entrance vestibule of this CVS that rivals the filth of a public garbage can in a third world realm. There is simply filth layered upon filth that greets every customer that walks into this store! I pointed out this filthy garbage can to management during the summer when not only did it look offensively filthy, but also had a somewhat offensive odor as well. A couple of employees came out into the vestibule to look at the garbage receptacle but pretended to not see or understand what my complaint was about. It has been several months now and the thing looks even worse! It's unfortunate that the good staff that works here will not own this problem and correct it. I may consider moving my pharmacy and quick pick up needs to a different location. I really like the pharmacy staff here because there are faces that have been here for years! Please tell someone to clean the entrance and garbage container at the store entrance!! On March 25, 2017 I visited CVS and purchased M&M candy. I was dismayed when serving that one of my family members noted that the bag of candy was out of date by one month.! I returned the candy for a refund, then went to the candy shelf and found 3 more bags of out of date M&M candy. No one seemed too concerned about my discovery, not even the cashier who timidly completed my refund. Almost as an afterthought she softly said "sorry about that" as I walked away. Someone in management should be fired or retrained because as a line from the movie "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" THE INMATES ARE RUNNING THE ASYLUM! The convenience of a drive thru pharmacy is quickly being diminished by the filthy entrance, the junked cars occupying almost half of their parking spaces and the disrespect by proxy of me and you, their customers. read more

This pharmacy consistently shows poor customer service and really is untrustworthy. First, they changed my monthly prescription to a generic brand and said my insurance no longer covered my original script, which was a lie. The regular prescription has been on a shortage and both my physician and insurance verified that it is still covered. Secondly, I just left the pharmacy and a pharmacist attempted to tell me they have not had either of the medications in close to a year. When simply explaining that this can't be the case because I pick up my script on a regular from here and had done so in the last few months, the lead pharmacist proceeded to engage me with what he thought would cover up that lie and a snarky disrespectful demeanor. Luckily I can go down the street yo the Holcomb Bridge CVS and at least receive respect as a customer and not have to hear someone provide false information and another attempt to be disrespectful. The associates here are very adorable. This one employee (Samantha) is the sweetest. Shopping in a pleasant environment makes me want to return to the same location. I have a few favorite CVS locations, and this location is among the few. Yes, I am a CVS addict. I admit it. Although this location is fairly large, the store is a tad tucked back so it isn't visible right away. Well, driving from one direction; the lovely plants along the street blocks some of the immediate visibility. Worst experience of my life attempting to get my prescription. I was out of medication and clearly explained that it was an emergency and I needed them to refill it. They (blonde girl specifically) looked at me like I was stupid because they had not done their job and had not refilled it even though my doctor had called. I left and called my doctor who then called CVS. CVS gaslighted me and told them that I hadn't been in. Lies. I was just there and they are just not doing their job. Don't know what the problem is. Eventually my mother had to come in and handle it herself. Long story short we will no longer be using CVS. This CVS Pharmacy is absolutely terrible. I had my Doctor call in a prescription for my son for his medication that he needs daily. He ran out today. Doctor called it in at 10am. I went to pick it up after work at 5:15. When I get there they say, "oh, well we're out of stock" okay so why in the world would you not call to notify me? She responded by saying, "we texted you" which was a boldface lie, never happened. So I asked if she could send the prescription to another CVS and she said no so literally my child will not have his medication today which could be awful. We shall see. What a poor way to run a business much less a pharmacy. Never refilling with CVS again. That was the nail that did it. Go to the Walgreens about a mile away in the Fresh Market shopping center. We need minimal prescriptions, this has been closest to us for 28 years, last 3 times there they were worse than terrible First were closed on hours they listed as open, had to go 4 times to get a simple antibiotic I take as a preventative per my Dr before getting my teeth cleaned I had surgery today I needed same prescription Dr wrote it they did not have ready said next day ( after my surgery ) but I needed before. The surgeon gave me a pain prescription, they said they were out, then they said they had, then they said it would be 4 hours,they close in 3. I asked for Corporate office phone they yelled at me and refused to provide. I asked for store managers name they refused to provide. They said they were too busy to fill prescriptions timely. They lied about some delay due to some bureaucracy I went a mile down the road and Walgreen's filled in 10 minutes, They are transferring my records to Walgreen's Per my request. The service was unheard of. It took an hour to buy two things. I had to switch lines because no one new what they were doing. They should learn and then help customers. I will never go back. I wish I could put 0 stars. But sadly I can't. If you want to wait an hour to buy something for a dollar be my guest. But if have things to do in your life, trust me it's not worth it. CVS Pharmacy has a policy on NOT telling the customer that anyone can use GoodRx on a computer or via a smartphone app to to get a discount on prescriptions not purchased for insurance. The discount only applies to some drugs. Some other pharmacies do tell you about this. read more
