My initial thought was to use sheet metal into a box, after he got the material cost it was more than I wanted to spend and suggested we go with the barrel design and Sean quickly got me a quote and new drawing that met my needs so we moved forward. A quick call to Sean and he graciously agreed to drive the 1 hour to my place to look things over. He was on-time for our first meeting and within a day or so had sent me a proposed drawing using Sketch Up. The drawing depicted everything that we had discussed. Sean provided a labor only and a labor and material quote so that I could compare material costs against quotes that I had thus trying to help me save money. We agreed to proceed with me supplying the material and him providing the welding labor. Each and every day of the project, Sean was on-time and truly acted as a professional throughout the entire project. We collaborated on how to attack the project and even made a few changes on the fly. He provided help from post setting, concrete mixing and welding throughout the project. He kept the job site clean and orderly. His web site currently has a picture of the square tubing and I-beam structure and once I complete the sheeting, I'll supply him with a picture of the finished covered patio for his web site. Juan constructed one is such a way that I could put my round mosaic tile in a welded pan with 20" legs. He knew exactly what I needed to do and he did it in 48 hours. The workmanship is fantastic and the final job was better than I expected. See the picture! it was a very good form fitting tabletop which will be used to deflect heat over a firepit. I paid him 50% deposit and gave him professional drawings with dimensions to work off of. The quality of work was beyond unacceptable. The welds were spotty and not grinded. The cuts were not even remotely straight. The handles were not even. I told Logan this was not acceptable and if he can make just an open frame cart. He responded by requesting ANOTHER $500 plus $250 down and that "This is good quality". Requesting even more for a simplified frame is an absolute joke. We decided to just cut our losses with the deposit and just leave an honest review. Logan never responded.
