I'd been working with Will at CCR and he got his crew (Primo & others) to figure out, once and for all, what was wrong. (Several earlier efforts had failed.) Well, they found the problem, and it was a doozy, requiring a full day with a full crew to repair both problems, which they scheduled promptly. Since then, no leaks at all. But not only that--they took a look at an earlier repair around a skylight on the other side of my room and did some preemptive repairs there as well. I was hugely impressed with the hands-on approach with Will, his knowledge and experience, returning calls & texts promptly, and the reasonable cost of repair. Although I hope not to have any additional roofing problems anytime soon, if I do, I will call CCR and Will first. Very highest recommendation!

While he had a strong suspicion about the cause, he didn't want to replace a portion of my roof unnecessarily. Instead, he said that if it happened again, he would come over during the rain to get a clearer picture. I was genuinely surprised and grateful that he didn't charge me for this visit. A day or two later, we experienced strong winds, and several roof tiles were torn off. Once again, Simeon came over the same day and installed a tarp to protect the damaged area. As soon as the rain cleared two days later, he completed the repairs, and I haven't had any leaks since. I'm incredibly thankful to Simeon and his team for their careful approach. Rather than rushing to replace part of my roof, he took the time to assess the situation thoroughly. Because of that, we were able to pinpoint the actual source of the leak--loose tiles at the ridge of the roof. The workmanship was outstanding, and now, I can't even tell the difference between the old and new tiles.

After meeting with Robert a couple of times, he gave me an estimate of $6000 for a new roof. I asked for a written estimate. He gave no breakdown of material and labor, never even the price of the shingles. I decided not to have him do the work and asked about the deposit. He sent several angry, some threatening text messages...including telling me that the tarp was $150 & that a tree branch he'd removed (I paid someone else to haul it after it was cut) was another $150, so I OWED him $100 ! Later, he texted that the tarp was an EMERGENCY REPAIR, which he charges $250 minimum!!! Threatened to bill me for additional money and file a lien (which he spelled lean)!!! Use at your own risk. See pic of the $250 "emergency repair"... a $10 blue plastic tarp. He kept adding on more costs ,as threats when I told him I would review on yelp. He apparently believes that he can just create prices, AFTER the fact, and threaten legal action. I believe it's called extortion.

I've attached a photo of the roof with all the patches I tried to put on over the bigger cracks and splits, and a video of water squirting out from a seam when I step on the leak water that collected under the roof layer at the base of the sloped roof before seeping down into the building.
