They don't Just pave but make sure the base under your new Paved driveway is correct. They dig down, fill with processed stone to creat a excellent highly packed 6" base. Like many jobs, if you do not do the proper prep work the rest does not matter. So 6" rock solid packed base. 2-1/2" plus on the final job. I can easily recommend Deziel Paving. They do it right unlike some other fly by night pavers. I think this driveway will easily last 20-30 years. Not to mention it looks awesome. I cannot see any seam and the water drains away beautifully. Nice job. I am impressed. .

Completely flaked on the paving of our 700' driveway in Simsbury!!…read more In June, we scheduled (through our contractor) to have our driveway at our new home paved by Deziel during a 9-day window in August while we were going to be out of town... We confirmed a couple times over the two months that the date we had scheduled still worked... Deziel began not responding to my contractor a couple weeks before the scheduled time to pave the driveway. The week our paving was scheduled for, I began calling them myself to get answers... they finally called me back after a few attempts and voicemails and told me they had it scheduled to be done in October!?! I explained the situation and that we had been expecting it to happen that week, and although the lady I spoke to was very nice, she told me the scheduler was on vacation but she would email the owner... I got no call back, so I called again the following week (the week after it was supposed to be paved), and spoke to a different lady who said "we decided we weren't going to be able to do that job anymore"- she said because Simsbury was too far for them, but didnt really have answers and told me I needed to call my contractor (who had NOT heard from them and had no idea they were going to back out of the job)... Needless to say, but the communication was awful, the owner never called me, and they completely flaked on our job. We would have happily hired a different company if they couldnt do the job. They DID pave the apron of our driveway in June (we needed that completed in order to get the CO for our house)- however the town made them come back and cut the apron back because they paved it too far in the street. It also began breaking apart 2 months after it was paved... lucky for them, they got free advertising because they put their sign at the end of my driveway which remained there for two months. Unfortunate all around, because reviews show that they often do good work- but they clearly don't run a good business since they cant hold dates or communicate properly (and wont hesitate to completely flake on you, months after scheduling and accepting a job!). I would never recommend doing business with a company like this. I was able to find a different company that was able to get out here and complete the project quickly for us- they did a fantastic job, communicated with us the entire way, and were $5000 less expensive than Deziel's quote.

Had Fuller come out last year to repave my driveway and initial sales responsiveness was great,…read morehowever final product and fit/finish leaves more to be desired. Their insistence on 2% cross slope and not willing to add base material resulted in a portion of my driveway BELOW the surrounding yard. As you'd expect, every time it rains or snows, I get a pond almost 3in deep and up to 6ft wide. Additionally, where the driveway mates up to the garage the trim was damaged, and asphalt is starting to crumble away at the edges. I also believe they received a sub-part mix from their supplier, because after 12 months the driveway is still somewhat soft and gritty (floor jack made an imprint, which was never an issue at my prior homes). The worst part was that all these issues are items I noted to Fuller prior to them placing asphalt, and was told it would be alright. I therefore CANNOT recommend their service due to lack of concern for these legitimate issues, which I must now deal with going forward.
