Their insistence on 2% cross slope and not willing to add base material resulted in a portion of my driveway BELOW the surrounding yard. As you'd expect, every time it rains or snows, I get a pond almost 3in deep and up to 6ft wide. Additionally, where the driveway mates up to the garage the trim was damaged, and asphalt is starting to crumble away at the edges. I also believe they received a sub-part mix from their supplier, because after 12 months the driveway is still somewhat soft and gritty (floor jack made an imprint, which was never an issue at my prior homes). The worst part was that all these issues are items I noted to Fuller prior to them placing asphalt, and was told it would be alright. I therefore CANNOT recommend their service due to lack of concern for these legitimate issues, which I must now deal with going forward.

The weather has been absolutely perfect for driveway work. As far as I know, no one has been by. For certain no one has contacted us. For certain no one has done anything in the driveway. No excuses, City Paving. We held a family meeting, I called one last time this morning-2 busy signals and a no answer. The address on the contract is a private residence, not an office. We will pay for another company to come and repair City Pavings workmanship issues before the freezing weather sets in and further damages the driveway. It is a shame we already recommended them to other people. That will never happen again. Oh well, live and learn. Update- So, after 4 months someone came by and looked at it. Says they will be back when the weather is warmer...sigh....it was warmer when we started calling, but whatever. I guess I will cancel the other company. They don't Just pave but make sure the base under your new Paved driveway is correct. They dig down, fill with processed stone to creat a excellent highly packed 6" base. Like many jobs, if you do not do the proper prep work the rest does not matter. So 6" rock solid packed base. 2-1/2" plus on the final job. I can easily recommend Deziel Paving. They do it right unlike some other fly by night pavers. I think this driveway will easily last 20-30 years. Not to mention it looks awesome. I cannot see any seam and the water drains away beautifully. Nice job. I am impressed. .
