I personally go with the chicken/lamb combo platter whenever I get gyro, but you can choose from grilled fish, shrimp, and beef. The condiment, side topping, and sauce choices are endless as well. Chicken was a little dry this time but smothering it with tzatziki sauce made it less noticeable. Will be back to give it another shot. You have to ring the bell for service since they're busy in the back most of the time, but the staff have always been friendly when I've eaten here.

There's multiple kinds of salads, hummus, meats, fresh veggies, pasta, beans, rice dishes, and desserts. Their pita bread and flatbreads are freshly baked from the oven. They even serve authentic Greek coffee. Most of the dishes are what you'd typically see in Mediterranean cuisine. While, there's some classic American comfort food mixed in. Dimassi's offers pick up orders, if you're not in the mood for buffets. I liked their chicken kebabs, but they're too thick. I wouldn't recommend the meatballs. They were dry and lacked flavor. The tomato sauce the meatballs were steeped in didn't help. The sauce was watery and very bland. Their Beef Kofta is delicious, but very rich, so I wouldn't eat more than one piece. Their rice pudding wasn't the best either. It still had chunks of rice. Dimassi's doesn't have much to offer for little kids. We also tried the shrimp gyro which was flavorful. It seemed like the AC was out because they had portable AC units blowing cool air. Luckily the weather that day was not too hot so it was manageable. We found the food came out in a reasonable time and the server was friendly. The appetizers we got (Brussels Sprouts and Spinach Artichoke Dip) were both okay, though I prefer garlic bread to the chip for the dip and the sprouts were a little one note. The whiskey cake itself was very good, though I recommend only one plate for a group of 6 or less because of how rich it is, especially if you get the ice cream addition. Overall a very surprising experience, and while it carries a heavy price tag, it is absolutely a good choice if you're looking for a nicer meal out here.
