Service is slow. I think they serve their Arab customers first or they actually luck out and picked up for orders ahead of time ‍

The food was fresh, tasteful, well presented. I recommend trying the gyro lamb and the baklava. There's nothing distasteful on this gem. The Hostess was incredible nice and welcoming.

There's plenty of space for large parties, and you're greeted kindly once you enter. Unlike most buffets I've been to, at Dimassi's, you pay AFTER you've had your fill. Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet is surprisingly not very expensive. Their food is freshly made, straight from the kitchen and everything at the buffet is always kept at the right temperature. There's multiple kinds of salads, hummus, meats, fresh veggies, pasta, beans, rice dishes, and desserts. Their pita bread and flatbreads are freshly baked from the oven. They even serve authentic Greek coffee. Most of the dishes are what you'd typically see in Mediterranean cuisine. While, there's some classic American comfort food mixed in. Dimassi's offers pick up orders, if you're not in the mood for buffets. I liked their chicken kebabs, but they're too thick. I wouldn't recommend the meatballs. They were dry and lacked flavor. The tomato sauce the meatballs were steeped in didn't help. The sauce was watery and very bland. Their Beef Kofta is delicious, but very rich, so I wouldn't eat more than one piece. Their rice pudding wasn't the best either. It still had chunks of rice. Dimassi's doesn't have much to offer for little kids. They only had cheese pizza, fried chicken wings, fries, banana pudding with vanilla wafers, and only one kind of cookie. I think I'll take my mother here sometime, though.

I love Greek food, so I decided to try this place out. I was greeted when I approached the counter. I ordered the Gyro Plate to go. There wasn't anyone in the restaurant, so it was very clean and quiet. It took about 3 minutes for my order to be ready. My dinner came with a good size salad, rice pilaf, pita bread and the meat. The meat was delicious. They don't give much pita bread, so I'll order extra next time. The rice was "ok". I didn't like that it had red pepper flakes in it, making it a little spicier than I can stand. Overall, I like it. I did go back and got a gyro instead of the gyro plate and it was HUGE and delicious! I unfortunately didn't get a chance to take a picture because I was starving, so you'll have to trust the Teller of Truth!

The food is good, and I knew that this was a counter service type of place rather than table service. Not a problem. It's just that when I go to a Greek restaurant, I want some Greek food options. I LOVE Greek food, and I get excited when I know it's coming. So I was underwhelmed with the menu. It's basically choose your meat and do you want rice, fries, or feta fries - which you should get. They do have some starters like different dips, dolmades, and spanakopita. As well as a Greek salad and rice bowls... but that's kind of it. Where is the moussaka, or the keftedes? Maybe this is more of a Greek street food type of place, but I was just a little underwhelmed by the options especially since we frequently make our own Gyros at home so I wanted something different. It was still good food though. I'm not sure I would go back unless someone in my family specifically wanted to eat here, but that's only because I would prefer different options. I WILL SAY, the guy behind the counter was working hard and attentive. He took our orders and as soon as one dish was up, he brought it over so it was fresh. If you go, you have to try the feta fries and the lemon potatoes. Yes, they're both potatoes, but they're both delicious. You could probably pass on the baklava. It's not the best I've had. The baklava ice cream was good, but I wouldn't get it again. I was really hoping that they'd have some Loukoumades for dessert, but alas, they did not. The takeaway is that this is more like a Greek fast food and while it's good, it's not big on the options. Worth a try if you're new to Greek food, but not worth it if you love many different options. My mom was happy and that's all that matters since it was her birthday. For those who care to know, the bathroom seemed clean, the restaurant was clean and bright, the one guy behind the counter was great... and that pretty much sums it up.

The garlic parmesan Brussels sprouts were a standout appetizer! They were crispy, flavorful, and the perfect balance of flavors. And the whiskey cake was the perfect way to end the meal.. it's a dessert you definitely don't want to skip. Food - 4.5/5 Service - 4/5…read moreAmbiance - 3.5/5 I had only heard mixed reviews regarding this place going in, so I figured my experience was going to be the same, but it was an overall very positive one. The ambiance was nice as we walked in, and after being quickly seated next to a window, the atmosphere was nice. They did end up covering the window before we started eating, and the little bulb way above us and candle did not really provide light enough for us to eat (I get it is mood lighting, but I like seeing what I eat). The food was really solid, though. A few times I've been in the past it was all too salty, but this time around it was much better. I got the Farm Bird, and it was very juicy and had a very nice crunch. The Fish and Chips were nice and flaky, while the Pork Chop was extremely juicy and rich. The shrimp in the rigatoni was definitely oversalted, as well as the broccolini greens in the pork chop dish. The appetizers we got (Brussels Sprouts and Spinach Artichoke Dip) were both okay, though I prefer garlic bread to the chip for the dip and the sprouts were a little one note. The whiskey cake itself was very good, though I recommend only one plate for a group of 6 or less because of how rich it is, especially if you get the ice cream addition. Overall a very surprising experience, and while it carries a heavy price tag, it is absolutely a good choice if you're looking for a nicer meal out here.

Best Bites takes you to Seabrook!…read more Today, while visiting my grandson, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Athena's Corner Greek Restaurant in Seabrook, and it was absolutely delicious! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm Mediterranean charm. The restaurant is beautiful, inviting, and filled with Greek-inspired décor. You can choose to dine inside or relax on their lovely outdoor patio. Our waitress, Rachel, was exceptional--friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. She made us feel right at home! We kicked off our meal with a couple of appetizers, and they were every bit as impressive as they were delicious. The hummus was smooth, creamy, and served with warm, fluffy pita bread. We also enjoyed the falafels--perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, and even better dipped in their spicy feta spread! For my entrée, I chose the Lunch Special featuring a savory spinach pie, served with a fresh Greek salad and a cup of their famous Avgolemono (Greek lemon soup) . It was light, comforting, and packed with flavor. My grandson ordered the Chickpea Salad , a dish he loved so much on a previous visit that he couldn't resist ordering it again. That's always a good sign! My husband selected the Stuffed Shrimp Special . The plate was absolutely beautiful--jumbo baked shrimp stuffed with a savory crab dressing, served over a bed of mushroom orzo. It tasted every bit as incredible as it looked! If you're ever in Seabrook, Texas, and you're craving something fresh, flavorful, and satisfying, I highly recommend Athena's Corner Greek Restaurant. You'll enjoy a relaxing atmosphere, outstanding hospitality, and food that's made with care and bursting with authentic flavor. Best Bites Approved! Have you been to Athena's Corner?
