Today, their seller at the Mar Vista Farmers Market inappropriately engaged me after I purchased apples from them. He told "get the fuck out of here" and used other vulgar expressions. Completely inappropriate. I'm not aware of having done anything wrong aside from making a purchase and briefly talking to the vendor at the adjacent stand, Ommas Garden, with whom I had some history and who took photos of me while I was making my purchase. The Cuyama seller has exhibited unprofessional behaviour in the past, but I did not interact with him today until he decided to play police. I returned my purchase and won't be getting apples from Cuyama again.

This women who works for the company as she said loves to attack those using their first amendment right!!

disgusting workers, shouldn't even be a business if they can't keep their workers under wraps. attacking those that are using their amendment rights. the atmosphere makes me very scared and i don't even know if id be allowed to take a selfie or film around memories if this business is in the area. and this worker needs to be fired. she attacked this man on camera and had her gang of peasants come try to do the same. she even fell over the apple boxes trying to pull the man on the floor!!! now the apples are all tainted and bad.

Ask the Community - Cuyama Orchards

Can we pick the apples off the tree?

Thanks for your interest, but we’re a commercial operation, and can’t be open to the public. So no, we do not permit folks to come apple-pick on our farm.

5 stars all around to this sweet little gem right off the 5 freeway!…read more When you walk in the smell of buttery crust pulls you in because they are baking fresh pies! I felt like the little cartoon character who is floating while smelling the yummyness of it all! This place is just so cute and quaint. It has a real homely feel and the young lady working was so kind! She was actually the daughter in law of the owner and she was just really personable. You could tell she really loved the family business. We will definitely be stopping in here the next time we are taking a drive down to SoCal! It's too delicious not to stop! Thanks for the warm and fuzzy feels on a cold day!

You can either buy your baskets right away or look around the shop. Lots of good stuff in the shop, but you should wait until you are heading out to grab stuff. After we paid for our baskets, we loaded into the tram and was driven to the cherry area. When you stopped, the attendances guided us to the 3 rows we can pick from. I understand to keep the crowd controlled and make sure the farm doesn't get trampled. The weather was perfect so we took our time, walked to the back of the rows and moved forward as we picked. They were red and beautiful, grabbed our baskets once they were full and headed back. He did buy some strawberries and honey comb inside the Little Purple Barn. You do have to come early for the pies, there may not have any later in the day. The cherry picking is only on the weekends.
