I can't express how disappointed I am with this experience. I was so excited to finally treat…read moremyself to re-facing my cabinets, updating my countertops, and changing out my sink. This business successfully changed my excitement to one big headache and a lot of disappointment. I was referred to them from Lowe's. A very friendly girl then contacted me to set up an appointment with Riley to come to my home with samples. I thought it was nice that they came to my home so I could see all the samples in my actual kitchen amongst all of my things. I thought they had a nice selection of colors and patterns to choose from. I chose a shaker style cabinet front in white, a light gray granite counter, and a pretty basic SS undermount sink. So this company specializes in refacing, not really replacing. They wrap your cabinet boxes in some kind of material that matches your new cabinet fronts. The granite they put down is a cap on top of your already existing counters. Riley was very friendly and helpful throughout the visit. She was so pleasant to work with that I got the impression the whole company would be easy to work with, but that, in fact, has not been the case. After signing a contract to move forward with the installs and putting thousands of dollars down on the project, the next step is to wait for someone to come measure the cabinets and countertops. This is where the problems began. I received a call in the middle of my workday from a rightfully frustrated gentleman (Dustin) saying that he was at my house to do the measurements. I advised him that I had not scheduled any appointments for the day, and no one had called me to set up anything. He mentioned that the company usually sends an email with an appointment date and time telling the homeowner when to be at their home. I advised him that I would need their scheduling department to call me to set up an appointment as I work all over the state and cannot be told went to be at my own home. He said he would pass that along, but no one ever contacted me. About a week went by with no communication so I reached out to Granite Transformations myself. I was transferred to an older gentleman (Mike) to schedule the cabinet template appointment and countertop measuring who has no business doing this job. I informed him of the scheduling situation that had occurred the week prior and advised that I was calling to reschedule the appointment with him. This is where Mike became a bit argumentative and rude stating that they emailed me several times with no response about the appointment. He then blamed Riley for not reaching out to me to confirm the appointment. Firstly, if you're emailing someone with no response, why wouldn't you just call them?Secondly if you're emailing someone with no response, why would you assume that the appointment is scheduled and send your workers out when the homeowner has not confirmed that they will be there? I have already paid you thousands of dollars and you can't pick up the phone to call me to confirm an appointment?? Completely ridiculous and unprofessional. I told Mike that I could not be instructed by them when to be at my house as I have appointments all over the state that are already booked, but I did have numerous available days where I could be at home to meet someone. He was adamant that they would have a pick a day that works for them and that I would just have to make it work. What kind of company neglects to work with their customer to schedule an appointment? He said he now would not be able to get someone out to just measure until August. Mind you it's freaking June!! I live like 20-minutes away from your business on Pendleton Pike. Do better! Then he proceeds to inform me that these are just measuring appointments. That the cabinet fronts will not be available for 6 to 8 weeks thereafter, and the countertop may be available before then. I really feel like Riley should have mentioned the expected length of this project during the initial appointment. If I would've known it was going to take months to do a 1-day project, I would not have signed a contract with them. After basically getting into a mild argument with Mike voicing my dissatisfaction with their scheduling process and customer service, he was magically able to schedule my measuring appointment for the following Wednesday. Was that so hard? So here we are... Wednesday. Dustin was assigned to come take the cabinet template measurements at 8AM and he was a no-show. I called Granite Transformations but they don't open until 10AM so no one was available to help me figure this out. At 9:02 AM, Dustin called to tell me that he didn't notice my appointment that Mike had put on his calendar for this morning until he was already in Bloomington working on another project. The battle with them continues.

I built the foundation for an outdoor countertop and upon installation, the install team noticed that the ground had caused the top to not be level without a noticeable amount of filler. The install team allowed me the weekend to purchase more stone for my foundation and then came back Monday to cut the stone and fix the problem that I had overlooked. They went above and beyond what I have come to expect from companies today and I could not be more grateful!

Kendra denied they did anything wrong even with my video proof. The installer also made a tremendous mess cutting stone on the new deck. They came back out after I reported the mess. The same installer sprayed some water with my garden hose but the mess remained. I ended up cleaning it off. Poor craftsmanship and no pride in their work whatsoever. I gave Performance Stoneworks all summer to fix the scratches. No repairs made, only threats of legal action if the balance wasn't paid. The balance has been paid but I cannot give this company my business in the future. Very disappointing. Jeff, who came out to do the template, refused to take any responsibility or even offer an apology for the inferior performance of the team. A sign of the times with this company. Better companies out there. FYI, 19 of the 22 reviews on Facebook are over 6 years old, sadly they are no longer the same company.

She helped coordinate island and perimeter counters with cabinets and the back splash. From finshes to edges to vanishing seams, the finished product is gorgeous. I was able to look through their warehouse to find amazing slabs of stone. The Magma on my closet island is a show stopper. They are a professional and caring team offering a beautiful range of products. I highly recommend Marble Uniques for all your projects!!!

Once on-site they SOLD one of our slabs to someone else and tried to pass off REMANENTS of other material (with imperfections & extra seams) for our tops, while still charging us for 2 FULL SLABS. Eventually, they admitted to this UNETHICAL behavior and I should have walked away then, but we were 2 days out from install and all our other trades (booked months before) were stacked up for the day after, so we had them do the perimeter with the slab they didn't try to steal. Facing an upcoming graduation open house, we did not have time to start over and get the island done before all of our friends and family arrived, so we gave them a chance to make it right. We chose a material to complement but, through a staggering level of INCOMPETENCE, Marble Uniques cut the slab incorrectly rendering it unusable for our project. My entire family has used them in the past and were strong promoters anytime someone was looking for counters, but it is clear that currently the sales people and workers have no respect for each other or the customer and the president has no control over his operation. I am disappointed that I have to write this review of a company we were once fond of, but DO NOT trust them with your home.
