I found him last year and had four knives sharpened. He did a great job. So I went back this year with 5 knives on a Tuesday. He told me to come back on Thursday. When I did, he had forgotten to do the work. He asked me to give him one hour which I did. None of them were sharp and mostly pretty dull. This was my second visit and this time, unlike the last time, none of the knives were sharp. It's like he rushed through it and didn't bother to make sure they were sharp. NEVER AGAIN! read more

They overcharged my mom for no reason. When I asked why they said because it took longer and harder work to deal with my mom. I was super confused until he clarified that the effort was tripled due to her not understanding proper English. What a disgusting business and disgusting person! Go somewhere else. read more

Warning!! No honesty or integrity here. I brought in three knives and a small hatchet and explained to the owner that the price would determine how many of the items I would have him sharpen. He verbally quoted me $25.00 for all four. I agreed and he gave me a claim ticket without the fee written on it. When I went to pick them up he told me I had to pay $36.00. After reminding him of his original quote he said he had "made a mistake". That's no way to do business. If you screwed up, suck it up and retain your customer and your reputation. read more

Absolutely no idea how to sharpen kitchen knives. After assuring me he was familiar with knives of its type, he ground my $200 handmade Japanese knife down like it was a hatchet, spent several hours after I got home reshaping the edge to the proper angle. This guy might be able to sharpen barn tools, but take delicate instruments or anything of value elsewhere. read more

He is very good at his work and the best I 've seen, The only slight problem is that on many occasions he doesn't open up or shows up Saturdays like the sign thats posted that its open on Saturdays at 10am... The guy is 74 years old !!! its understandable that he can't keep up with the work load But he still does a very good job !! Hopefully he will sell the business to someone with the same caliber but much younger. read more

I just had 3 knives and a pair of scissors sharpened for less than $30. I am very pleased to have sharp knives again and wish that I had not waited so long. I will definitely use this place again. I also support the owner's right to free speech which is so important in this country. Heaven help us if we stop having open discussions and have to berate and insult people who have different political views than us. read more

Mr. Feinberg was honest, reliable and very busy. Business owners cannot hire interpreters for every language out there. They would go broke in a week. He did this out of frustration much like all of you that have been ignorant towards him, have done at one time or another throughout your lives. I totally understand him. He took the sign down so now "MOVE ON" You are no better than him or anyone else. I'll bet if we could scan over your lives , we would also find racial slurs. Great place to get your knives sharpened. Ran me about 4 bucks each for my chef's knife and a paring knife. Dropped off my knives and picked them up 2 days later. He also works on all kinds of other bladed tools, like shop tools and lawnmower blades, etc. Very friendly, also. read more
