I've been coming here since we bought our house in Stratford in 2007. It has changed drastically for the better since then! Clean, great food, and friendly service. The best bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches for the morning and I love the Clayton Panini for lunch. Prices are high for a deli, which is why they lost one star, but worth it. read more

Went here recently with a co-worker for lunch. I've never heard of it or seen it before so I said why not. I got a chicken salad sandwich with onions, bacon, and american cheese. That is my go to sandwich when trying a new deli. The chicken was in large pieces and good ratio to mayo. My favorite part was the bacon. It was a mix of strips and crumbles, which gave it a really good texture. My only complaint was that it was a little expensive. I paid around 11 dollars for a sandwich on a hard roll and bag of chips. I would go back again though. read more

Ordered the big daddy which is a steak and cheese on sub with onions, peppers & mushrooms. Well first off there was more bread than meat on the sub. For the most part the sandwich itself is pretty dry. Very disappointed next time I'll spend my money elsewhere. read more

I live right down the street and it would be nice to have a reasonable and local deli to go to. Unfortunately, Cutspring is a very "mediocre" deli and VERY over-priced. I ordered a seafood salad sandwich, simply on dry bread. They really skimped on the meat (which turned out to be imitation seafood) and charged me $8.19! I nearly gasped when the woman rang me up. I could have gone to Gaetanoes and gotten a whole grinder where they stuff it with FRESH meat and toppings for that price. You wouldn't even pay that kind of money in Fairfield for the quantity and quality that they offer! Won't be going back there again. Gaetanoes it is! read more

Since I live very close, I'm in here at least once a week to pick up a made to order sandwich or salad. You can get made to order egg sandwiches also with fresh coffee, muffins, cookies, etc or choose from delicious soups and sandwiches. All cold cuts are Boar's Head brand and delicious. They have an extensive salad "bar" with many toppings to choose from and your choice of romaine lettuce, fresh baby spinach or spring mix. Plus, they have various pasta & potato salads. This deli would be better if they were consistently open with reasonable hours. Closed today at noon on a Sunday? Seems closed half the time the hours online say they are open. Maybe stay open for dinner too. Also make the place look like it is open. Empty parking lot and no signs out looks like closed. This place could do a lot more business if it they put some effort in. read more

This place is cute and has a good selection of offerings plus you can customize your own. Everything always seems fresh and the sandwiches are all made to order and quickly prepared. The service has always been friendly. My one gripe and the reason for only four stars is that as far as delis go, this one is expensive. We consistently pay over $20 for two sandwiches, two drinks and chips to share. I would recommend it if your in the area though, just don't expect to pay more than usual. read more

They have just updated the menu to offer fries,burgers,chicken tenders... and a few new sandwich choices. The staff is friendly and the food is just like homemade.(maybe better). I love the salad "bar" it has many choices to pick from including grilled chicken made in the deli! All the salads and chicken is cooked and prepared from scratch at the deli. This wasn't a horrible experience- the place is clean and the staff are very polite but I was very disappointing in the quality and quantity of the food I got. I paid $25 for two wraps, a small salad, bag of chips and one bottle of soda. Now, I understand deli's can be pricey and I'm willing to pay for good food but both our wraps were just that- wraps...nothing else. It was 75% wrap and 25% meat & veggies...we actually didn't even eat the sandwiches. By the time we tried to take out most of the wrap itself nothing was left :( I'm not sure if it had something to do with the person making the sandwiches but for $7-$8 a wrap we should have gotten more than enough. read more
