Just had a HORRIBLE experience at this "salon". 1. Very unsanitary, no plastic liners and no sterile tools 2. Requested a mini manicure aka no polish.. still left nails unevenly filed with dirt under them but charged for a full price manicure (under 4 mins of service) 3 left my arms and legs oily (no hot towel to clean your skin on after the massage with oil.) 4. Female technician clearly no good at applying polish as she had to go back with acetone around my toe nails each time, even the base coat. 5. She accidently stabbed my foot with something prepping polish applicarion but instead of apologizing she vehently denied it and got mad at me. I have a red dot where either her own nail or a wayward tool poked top of my foot! 6. I requested glitter polish which she also got all over my toe skin. When i asked her to remove it she got mad and said that was normal and it would wash off in the shower???? I get glitter everytime i get a pedicure and this is firrst time it was all over my skin too. Even after using acestone again it was still there. 7. She yelled at me for being the "worst customer ever". I replied that this was horroble service and she kept yelling at me saying i was the worst customer ever. I requested manager and was told to call tomorrow. 8. Unprofessional on so many levels and really should have walked out when insaw no liners but never imagined I would be treated so bad, no womder the place was dead. 9. Made the poor decision to try a new nail salon for a pedicure. This is a small tradition I cherish, so I was looking forward to it. I made and appointment and was seated right away. My nail technician barely acknowledged me while he listened to his ear buds and had random conversations through the buds. Basketball was on all of the screens. I am a fan, but not really a relaxing topic to view. The prices were pretty high, so I chose the basic pedicure. My technician raced through every step. I asked if the old polish could be removed...technician says to me, "It's removed enough. You won't see it after I paint." Such a rush job. The whole process. It was my first time at the salon and didn't realize tips had to be in cash. I usually tip pretty well, but when I said I only had a few dollars can I add more onto my charge? I was told I can get cash across the street. Not the experience I was planning. Not the place I will be recommending either. read more

Went in for a gel manicure and was seated with Steven. Overall service was alright so I decided to come back and try a pedicure. Steven did my pedicure so rushed. Cut nails round without asking, polish was uneven, ingrown nail within 12 hours. I came here after a friend referred me to this nail salon. I'm new to the area and extremely picky... I read a lot of the reviews before going and was excited for getting my nails done. After 90 minutes I went home with mediocre nails at best. Slanted nails, every nail different shape, and the glitter on my nail ( I was charges $7) looked like . I went to my friend who referred me and asked her not to refer anyone else. She explained that I should only go to Tony or Maya (I think is her name) NOT Nina!! I went back the next day to get them re-done and now I love my nails! They came out great! All the same, exact shape I wanted, and the glitter looked a million times better! So I do recommend this place but only if you go to Tony or Nina :) Place is clean, loved the relaxing music, organized, but I can't say much for the attitudes or the talking about the clients (pretty obvious) in their own language and shouting across the room. read more

I have had pretty bad experiences but this was was just as close to HORRIBLE Tony was very rough and throwing my hands around kept stopping to text and check his phone wasn't focused on my nail and I went for a fill when I got my full set the lady said it was going to be $23 for a fill and he charged me $34 for the same thing I had and he said "maybe the prices changed" IN A WEEK AND A HALF! my nails are the same length I didn't get any type of design or special anything!!!!!! I came in for a quick pedicure and I have never been here !!! First of all the tools were not indiavally wrapped he said he cleaned them right before!!! Then I had to continually point things out I wonder if he even has a cosmetology license !! That's what I get for not going to my normal place but I don't want to leave town!!! TRACI IS MY FAVORITE ! She is definitely honest about the health of your natural nails and whether or not she thinks it's a good idea for acrylics. She takes amazing care of your nails and assures there is minimal damage. She does an amazing job and is extremely friendly. The facility itself is very clean as well as organized. They have a wonderful assortment of colors as well. Anything from a manicure , acrylics or pedicure you cannot go wrong. The times I have gone here I haven't left devastated, the prices are higher but definitely for a good reason! I highly recommend this place , mostly because traci is so amazing. She explains the process of what she is doing as well as examines your nails and lets you know about how long and how to properly care for your nails in order for them to grow healthy. She does a wonderful nail treatment. If you go I highly recommend asking for her! You will not be disappointed! read more

I had an appt and still waited to get looked at, my bf got a pedicure with no polish that lasted about 15 min(the guy didn't even clean his nails properly) and i got a pedicure & manicure I ended up paying $90 .. I asked for the same color for my hands and feet and they couldn't even do that. 8/12/16 Im not from the area (from the Bay Area) and I didnt get a chance to get my nails and toes done before I left out of town. I did Yelp salons in the area, but saw that the reviews were not great for this salon. However; I asked the young lady at the McDonalds drive thru (across from the salon) for nail salon recommendations and she recommended this place. I am glad that she recommend this place. I highly recommend this place. If you decide to go to this salon, ask for Jessie, he did my pedicure and he was great. He was very gentle, gave a great massage and took his time. I'm very sensitive and most places tend to cut me and that's why I'm very hesitant going to a new place. The lady that did my shellac manicure might be the owner. She wasn't wearing a name badge, ask for her! She was great as well. Like Jesse, she was very gentle and took her time with me. Don't waste your money. Four manicures done and two of us ended up with cracked nail polish before we left the salon. The other two had so many mistakes and polish left on the fingertips. They claimed the polish was supposed to give the "cracked" appearance. Really because they redid it with a polish they picked out and it cracked too plus my silver cracked. Bad quality polish and terrible quality overall service. Also a spa pedicure only lasted 14 minutes from beginning to end. Terrible experience and a waste of $118. read more

Went to this business for a pedi today. I would've gone to my old standby--Perfect Nails, but they had an attitude, like they were doing me a favor. See ya.... Cuts was air conditioned, which I appreciated, since it was 90+ degrees today. However, the salon had a STRONG chemical odor. Not all salons that I have visited have this strong a smell. Maybe they need better air circulation. Even though I didn't have an appointment, Tracy did the pedi and she was quick and thorough. I paid $25 for the pedi + sugar scrub. For this price, I think it would've been nice to have the hot towel treatment; they attempted to upsell me, but some of the services I've tried before and they were dubious at best. I figured I would try a nail place in town, you know, to stimulate my local economy. I was a walk in yesterday afternoon for a gel pedicure. The service itself was great. I felt the guy who did my pedi did a great job. They're just way too over priced. I was charged an additional $20 for gel polish. So my basic pedi with callus treatment was about $50 with tip. Outrageous. I will not be back. I can get the same service, plus mask and scrub on my legs for less in Escondido. I was just hoping to find something close to home. Also while I was there, I asked about other services to see if it would be worth getting my hands done there, but that too was way higher in price than what I pay down south. $50 for a dip gel set plus $5 for cuticle cut. I've been here every time I need to get my nails done and they always do an amazing job! I always get a French acrylic and they are always so careful with their work. Prices are great as well. Ask for Lee when you go. He really cares about the work he does. My husband gets manis and pedis and the employees are always so nice. If there's a wait I've never waited more than 10 mins but if you want to be in and out I'd recommend setting an appointment. Terrible. TERRIBLE. Went here because Happiness was too packed and I will never go back here again. I always get gel nails and I almost ended up paying as much for just a gel manicure there as I do for a gel manicure AND a spa pedicure at Happiness Nails right up the street. The gels has stress cracks right away and there were so many bubbles under the polish. They wouldn't do what I wanted them to. And the polish started chipping and pealing off right away. PLUS they left my nails brittle and thin. They cut my thumbs diagonal. They weren't even straight! Hate this place. Never going again. read more

They had a lot of options for what kind of pedicure you could get- I like 4 or 5 to choose from. The salon was clean and I didn't have to wait for an appointment. However the girl doing my pedicure was pretty rude, and didn't do a *great* job on my pedicure. It looked okay, but felt rushed and she was preoccupied (didn't ask if I wanted clipped or just filed, etc.). It wasn't a terrible experience, but just wasn't a very welcoming one. Horrible eyebrow wax service . Get this ; I spent 3 weeks growing my eyebrows out because I wanted them to look good for my prom . I went in yesterday and specifically said " leave them thick " the lady responded with "alrighty " which means she understood me . After she said "you have a longer tail on the right than on the left ( I already knew that but it's easy to fix ) minutes later she says " a lot of people have uneven eyebrows, one is higher than the other " so I took a look at it & then she also said " I can fix it , have you noticed it before ?" I clearly said NO . I usually get my eyebrows threaded at the temecula mall and they have never had an issue with my brows . Long story short , my eyebrows now look like I drew them on with sharpie . Came about two weeks ago to treat myself to a mani/pedi after about a year after not getting one. I was told initially that it would be an extra $20 for gel, $20 for the pedi & $20 for the mani- $60 total. I reluctantly agreed because I needed this so much, I'm a mom of two toddlers starting a new job soon. The man that works there did my pedicure and completely left all the dead skin on my feet! Didn't bother to scrub them or anything, I've never had a pedicure where the bottom of my feet were not scrubbed and left feeling silky smooth! I was shocked... I get it it's not the most glamorous gig but I just paid a lot of money to be pampered and that did not happen. He acted rushed and bothered, his co workers were literally soaking their feet and all chatting. A lady did my manicure and did a decent job, she was also polite and friendly. I tipped $20, $10 for each person. Paid $80 for a gel mani/pedi and received the worst pedicure of my life. Will not come back. read more
