I'm very picky with my acrylics. I get a simple set but will nitpick at every detail. Steve is patient and will fix anything I don't like right there on the spot. I've been coming to see Steve all of this year since about February. I finally decided to write a review. He's an awesome job since he has taken over management too. The first red flag i should've left when he said this was " i hate doing removals " ! But was rough on my nails cut me twice & was hurting wouldn't come here for a removal again the 2nd guy was much careful then the first guy. First guy acted as if the acrylic was the thickest he has seen when my previous nails were from a licensed friend i just couldn't get them removed by her so they were my only choice . read more

I have been to S&T Nails a number of times for manicures, gels, gel with powder, and pedicures. They always do a great job. Everyone there is very welcoming and friendly. The salon is clean and they have excellent hygienic practices. They have the big comfy chairs with massage for pedicures. They work hard to get you done quickly but never make you feel rushed. They seem to have all the latest technology and products for nails. I have had a number of different technicians and have had good results across the board. They are very welcoming about walk-ins and are forthright about wait times. Making an appointment is always a good idea but not required. read more

Went here because a nail broke and I had an event to be at so I needed a fix asap. Well, $55 for a fill later and my nails look soooo clunky. There's still leftover polish from the previous fill I had under my new color. AND the pink color they used is streaky. The experience was wack too, the manicurist kept stopping to get up to answer the phone and talk to customers the whole time. Felt completely rushed and it shows in the final result. Steven, the new owner, is wonderful. My nails are beautiful! While as a new owner, he probably has a bit of fine tuning to do, I am impressed with his nail skills! If I could give him a suggestion; downtime between clients should be cleaning time. Make sure your place of business is sparkling clean. This nail salon is my favorite!!! First off, the prices were really great. I didn't have to break the bank to get my nails done and that's always a plus. The staff are all super friendly! And the best part? It was so quiet in there! No loud music or people talking over each other, just a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, my experience at this nail salon is always fantastic. This nail salon is under a new owner since January 2023 so take note of that when reading the reviews. I went here for the first time today and had a great experience. Their pedicures are $35 and up. The girl who took care of me was excellent and did a great job! I needed a pedicure desperately and am very happy with her work. I also had a regular manicure and she did a great job with that too. The price is quite high and the quality quite low. My manicure started peeling the next day, which is pretty bad because I'm on vacation and not doing any of the manicure-ruining things I'd normally be doing with my hands at home. The nail tech took almost no care in doing my manicure and pedicure. Polish on my cuticles, uneven nails, painted the two coats and clear coat without any drying time in between, dripped a big dollop of clear polish on my hand and didn't notice. I had to point out a nail she hit with her own finger which messed up the polish, and she was kindly and jovial about fixing it, but in short, I could have done a way better job on my own. The 2 stars is because they were able to take my daughter and me right away. Though in retrospect I realize maybe that was a bad sign. read more

When I asked the cost of each person the owner refused to explain the total bill she ignored me. The people at this nail salon next to major market were very nice and welcoming. I didn't have an appt. but as a walk in they offered me a chair for a pedicure right away and gave me their carousel of nail color swatches. The reason for low stars even with good service was the extremely high price they charged me. I was expecting to pay $50-60 tops for a non-gel regular mani/pedi but ended up paying $80 not including the 18% tip I gave them. It was my first time there and when I walked in I simply requested a non gel mani/pedi before they ushered me to the chair. They didn't offer me a menu of services and I didn't see a price list up on the wall. When they started with my pedi they did a scrub, mask, lotion, massage on my legs. It was my first and only time there so I thought that was their standard base package. I did end up changing my nail color when I saw the color was too dark after the lady painted two of my big toes so I'm not sure if they ended up charging me for that. For my mani I asked for French tips which at other nail places is typically the price of regular mani (~$20) with a $5 up charge for the tips. The guy who did my mani did so while another lady was doing my pedicure. He also lotioned and massaged my hands and arms which I didn't ask for so I assumed he was doing that as part of the base manicure package. Looking back at it now, the lotion and massages were probably extras they charged me for. Which is precisely what's wrong with this place - they are not upfront with their pricing. I don't think it's honest and fair to perform high charge services if the customer is unaware of what you are doing. Even on their Yelp page there is no website with their pricing or services. Go here if you need an average mani/pedi but be very clear with the staff what you want and what you're willing to pay for. This place seems sneaky and subjective in terms of what they charge. COVID protocol observations: In terms of cleanliness and decor - pretty average for a nail salon. To support high customer turnover they put plastic wrap over the wash bin where you soak your feet but I didn't see them wipe down the chairs in between customers. Some not all of the staff wear masks which isn't a big deal to me as I'm vaccinated. They do have hand sanitizer and wear gloves when performing pedicures. read more

I didn't make an appointment, but as I walked in, they immediately got me into a chair for my pedicure so I could enjoy the warm water while i waited. They have tons of color options and great quality products. The reason for the low star review is because of the extremely high price they charged me. I called and asked how much a pedicure was and they quoted me $25 for basic and $35 for gel. I decided on a gel polish but ended up paying $60 not including the 20% tip I gave my artist. There are no prices listed on the walls, no menus handed to you when you sit down for your service, and no discussion of price at all, which struck me as odd, but I figured how expensive could it be? Most spas charge a base amount, right? She did a scrub, mask, lotion, and massage on my legs, which I didn't ask for, so I assumed that was just part of their pedicure service, but I was never asked if it was something I wanted. If I knew I was going to be charged a whole $25 EXTRA then I would have skipped it. Long story short, if you're going to go here, then I suggest being explicit about what you want and what you don't want, or you're going to end up paying a lot of money.
