I just want to start off by saying that myself and family have been coming to this salon for yearssssss. Used to be in there with my mom as a child and have always held the salon in high regard. With that being said, I'm disappointed in my recent service there. Went got a pedicure which was great and no complaints there. My gripe is with the gel manicure I received. I showed a fairly simple design (just flowers on two nails) was told that it was doable. The lady seemed to be rushing the whole time, which is okay but at least do it correctly. When it was time to do the flower designs, she pulled out nail decals which were proving to be a pain to apply and made the manicure look like a 5 year old did it. I was annoyed but at the end it wasn't necessarily terrible but in my mind, in the time it took to apply them the classic way of doing paint on flowers would have been easier and more time efficient. I spent a total of $220 (with tip) for my gel manicure, gel pedicure and another's pedicure. By the time I got home the flower decals were popping off one by one. I was fuming! I ran my fingers through my hair and the entire gel polish came off two of the fingers that had the flower decals on them. I was furious!! I spent so much money and this was not an experience I've EVER had, in allllll the years I've gotten my nails done. I called and the woman said she'd fix it. I told her just polish. I went in the next day and was greeted nicely. She came out and seemed slightly annoyed. I brought her the now 3 fingers with no polish on them (not even 24 hrs later) and she accused me of pulling it off. No, I didn't they came off. Then I had to ask her to fix the final nail that had half the flowers gone and informed that another gel was lifting. She only filed that one down and then huffed when I asked to fix the other nail. Painted all of them and said have a nice day. I was in and out in 5 min. To say I am beyond appalled is understatement. This salon has always held a special place in my heart since I've literally gone there since I was a child. But I can't bring myself back there ever again. Came for a pedi and the guy who did my toes, didn't even clean underneath the nails, cut them crooked and then we get to the paint, picked a color the guy could barely paint my toes. Put the first coat on then second coat and then had me sit in the front under the ultra violet light to dry. Looked at my feet before I left all toes have ran and were smeared. This time, they up charged me with hidden fees that were not disclosed up front. I don't mind paying if the prices are posted or presented before the service. But they lost me as a client over five dollars. Since the manager was unable to take off the undisclosed $5 charge, I'll be going to other salons in the area who do not add on surprise fees. read more

NEVER COME HERE. I cannot even comprehend what happened today at this salon. So I'm graduating in 2 days and I have nail polish at home, but I wanted a little pamper day to relax before ending my high school career. I checked the reviews on this salon's Yelp, obviously, and most reviews were 1 star, but I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt for this salon. I also wanted to support nail salons after how hard COVID was for most of these luxury service businesses. I walked in and got serviced right away which was nice to see, but then I saw that there was not exactly the cleanest of tools that they were going to use on me. No new sterilized tools in those blue sterile packets, and definitely not the cleanest curing lamps or the acetone bottles. Definitely not COVID-19 friendly here. I was shown the prices of the pedicures, which I chose #3, which was $30 + $20 extra for gel, and I KNEW what I was choosing. What I DIDN'T know was the pricing of my manicure, since there is quite literally no prices on the walls of this salon on the inside, on the website, or anywhere. The only pricing I knew of was for the pedicures, which was on a laminated piece of paper, which apparently had a back with the manicure pricing (had no clue that was even there since no one told me). I inspected my nails after they were both finished doing my toes and hands, and noticed my hand nails still had dirt under them, which I wanted fixed, and was not happy seeing if I was going to be paying $83 FOR THE ENTIRE THING. I asked what could be fixed and that I did not like the service since I didn't want to pay $83 for nails that still had dirt under them. The lady working today (June 9th, 2021) had come up to me to explain that they could take off the gel off of my hands, but I would still need to pay $20 for the manicure. Ridiculously expensive, I told her I didn't like the service or how my nails looked, and she said if I wasn't going to pay she was going to call the police. I don't like the threat of the police being called over a small thing that could've been fixed if their customer service was better than this, but obviously they couldn't fix anything, and resorted to having someone else taking care of a problem they need to learn to handle. I ended up paying just to get out of there, and then I was handed my receipt and card, and guess what? A $1 CHARGE FOR DEBIT CARD PURCHASES FOR SERVICE UNDER $100! This business is one to overcharge for anything, definitely filing a complaint with the BBB. In total, $84 for bad service, a bad attitude from someone who didn't even do my nails, and a threat to have the police called. Not a sanitary salon either, rude employees, bad service, overall a nightmare. I advise everyone who reads these reviews to really check over them and I will promise you the negative reviews for this salon are very real. Never coming back ever again, and did not tip either. I'm not one to complain, I don't even like confronting restaurant workers about something they got wrong on my order, but this was ridiculous. read more

I went here with a friend because she recommended it, I guess she has never seen the reviews on here. But this review is for the man that works there, and the older woman who is apparently his mother. I can't speak for anyone else as I've only been once. She started my toe nails more than 10 minutes late, so my friend was done way before me. Could've let it slide but the next few parts I won't let slide. She never asked me if I wanted my nails cut or just filed. She started going to town. She filed more of my skin than my actual nails. That was painful and unpleasant. She burned me a few times with her drill, because she didn't want to soak off my gel I guess. She had cut one nail extremely short and the others were not as short but totally jagged and not even filed evenly. I asked her to please stop cutting and she kept cutting!! I waited til she was about to apply polish before taking a look to give her the benefit of the doubt in case she wasn't done?? The one nail was still extremely short, everything was uneven and jagged. I even had a nail clipping hanging on for dear life that was just still there that she was about to paint over. So I was about to get up and leave after my nails had just been completely ruined, length and shape wise. She said "my son my son" so her son came over to "fix" them and paint them. He apologized but I was still charged FULL price since when is a gel pedicure $59? Ridiculous. Bad customer service and that lady should NOT be doing anyone's nails. It took 2 hours to complete a simple dip powder manicure. They reuse tools I'm not sure if they've been sanitized. They have sugar scrub in a Tostitos salsa jar.... This place needs to do better. I switch back and forth from pink and white to color for my nails during the year and I get compliments all the time that people will ask me who did them. The lady who did her nails did not want to cut them to the length my grandma wanted them and told her that she "couldn't cut anymore". I also brought my daughter who's 5 and they kept telling her to sit still and not move and then told her to sit for another 15 minutes to let her nails dry (they didn't offer a fan or anything to shorten the time). My nails are crooked and uneven, polish not to the edges and the top coat is streaky and uneven. Yesterday I had my nails done by Jesse and I have to tell you it was the worst I ever had done. The nails were so thick and lumpy that they looked deformed. Just disgusting. I paid $50 for the acrylic set. By the way Jesse doesn't let you wash all the nail dust off. He just painted the nails and covered the dust. No wonder the nails came out the way they did. Because my finger nail polish started chipping really badly after ONE DAY! I went back in today to ask them to fix it. She said no. (I asked if she was the manager. She said yes.) They'll only fix it within a week if they're gel or acrylic. POOR PRACTICE. I've been wearing nail polish for many years and even when I paint my nails myself they last a few days at a minimum. I'll be real here too. I didn't even wash dishes or do any real work. I pretty much sat on my butt and watched them chip away. Don't waste your money. The not so good: - Pricey for the quality/attention. Example: $18/7 mani/pedi for my 8 year old. Basically painted her nails because she doesn't have callouses or cuticles. $35 for my "regular" mani pedi. Not much effort was put into areas I pointed out. Massage was pretty dry and fast. (I felt so cheap). Lighten up, this review is bad enough already. - Not a very big paint color selection unless you want gel. - No posted prices. I asked and he only had a pedicure menu. Prices for regular are $20 up to $60 something. Just for the pedicure. Bottom line: (Just added) Don't go here unless it's a serious nail emergency. Maybe they're good with gel or acrylic. I have been going here from time to time when I'm on a time limit...I've always had "misunderstanding" with them charging me extra. Today was just horrible!! The moment I walked in I asked for a mani and pedi. I picked out my color and was asked to go sit with steven. His whole attitude was just bad he gave that vibe like he was bothered cuz he had to do my nails. After that we moved over to the pedi chair... I got the basic pedicure and asked if he could cut my ingrown nails the guys doing them said no problem, he proceeded to cut them and ended up making me bleed really bad. I couldnt stop bleeding. It hurt really bad. Didnt even apologize and said you wanted ingrown out As the other guy finishing up my manicure I didnt realize he put GEL on my nails...to my understanding they're suppose to ASK if I want gel or not. Well he didnt. When I finally went up to pay he said it was going to be 62 dollars!!! I asked why so much? I've never been charged that much. He said it was 39 dollars for my manicure bcuz I got Gel (I DIDNT ASK FOR GEL) and 22 for pedicure. I was so upset cuz he kept arguing that thats the price it's always been.
