She used a small drill to remove the gel but after that did not use any water on my nails to soak, the cuticles were not trimmed, I did not have a hand massage at all and the polish wore off on one hand the very next day. I had to remove all the polish within two days as the other hand also became worn. I had a new manicure five days later elsewhere. That is still good five days later again. read more

Definitely waste of your money for the body wraps, went in had to do it all myself no big deal but had a hard time wrapping my arms and worst part was it wasn't heating didn't work I tried calling them with my cell and didn't even bother to come in and help me, they instructed me through the phone, front desk was just whatever with me and I felt very unwelcome. I was charged $25 twice on two different Visa cards because the girl said my card didn't go through. Come to find out both charges came through. When I went back in 2 more times to still try to get this fixed, I waited over 45 min and put on the phone with the rudest woman owner I could ever meet. After explaining my story to her again to which she interrupted several times then when I wasn't even talking and just only listening to her , she repeated 3-4 times that I needed to "calm down " ... I wasn't even talking and I was calm the entire time , calm for almost close to an hour to which she said it was my issue and I needed to work it out with my credit card company. This woman shouldn't ever be in business. She doesn't know the meaning of customer first and customer service. And when I called her "Honey"... a term of endearment, as I'm from the South , she went bat crazy. Honey, If you want to keep and retain customers, treat them with respect. The place is very clean and the staff is very helpful with guiding you as to which bed would best suit your needs. They also offer spray tan. I was sick of going to 2 different people. Now that I found Elisha, I am willing to drive the 40 mile drive from San Diego to see her. This review is based on my first impressions with a phone call, the entrance, and the mystic spray tanning, not the UV beds. This is the second time I've tried the Mystic tanning, the first time in 5 years. Love that they have the newest "bed", great tan. When I called to ask about the tanning the young lady was very nice and helpful. She told me they have $10 Mystic tans on Monday. Being it was Monday I was literally at the salon in 10 minutes! Super deal! The girl was very busy, but still helpful and polite. She told me everything I needed to know being it had been a while since my last tan. I will definitely be going again. Okay let me start by saying...I love SoCal I've tanned here for years they always have the best beds the best service and employees but that's not why I'm leaving this review. They have an amazing nail tech named Hannah man oh man she is seriously amazing, her pedicure was so nice and relaxing and beyond perfect, she really took her time to do everything proper. I struggle with dry cracked heels embarrassing I kno but any salon I go to I always get the callis remover and I always still leave with dry cracked heels. Shasta uses an amazing gel product, Bio Sculpture. My hands are so sensitive that I thought I had to stop having my nails done. Then years ago Shasta convinced me to try gel instead of acrylic, and wow was she right!! The gel is strong, beautiful, and gentle for my picky skin. Shashta is THE BEST if you need an airbrush spray tan! I never use the mystic tanner, only because I have in the past and I can never get my hands right. I'm either too orange or too white! I was so excited to try this place out. I have been an avid tanner for about 7 years now but when I moved here from out of state At The Beach was too far of a drive from my house to continue my membership with them. This place was convenient to where I live and it looks clean/well put together and loved the idea they have mystic as well if I ever wanted a spray tan. My husband went in to sign us up for a month of tanning (just the beds not versa/mystic/spray tanning) I told him to ask about the $20 promo for one month of level 1 tanning since we would only be needing a month to get ready for a vacation were taking in June. They charged him $95 PER PERSON!! Yes, NINETY DOLLARS PER PERSON FOR ONE MONTH???? When I had my account with at the beach I was paying $60/month for all access including versa spa spray tanning unlimited! THIS IS A JOKE! I want to report this to the BBB it is so ridiculous! Best mystic tan experience I've ever had!! My husband and I recently moved to the area (I'm from Orange County) and I was looking for a new tanning salon and came across So Cal Tanning. From the minute we walked through the door it was a great experience. We were welcomed by Megan who was the cutest, most friendly, and helpful person. I was worried about trying a new tanning salon but I wanted a tan for my upcoming baby shower. Come to find out they have the latest mystic tanning machine! I went to So Cal Tanning today to take advantage of the 10 dollar "Mystic Monday", such a great deal. When i got there the girl at the front desk explained everything to me in detail and suggested i get the medium tan and maybe use the regular beds first. The Mystic Tan takes about 10 minutes and looks great. The staff is awesome and they have really cute knock off hand bags. Im definitely returning next week for another tan!!! read more

I stopped by today to get a tan at 8:23pm, 37 minutes before closing, and Sydney tells me that I won't be able to get a spray tan because she'll take too long to clean it. I went here for a so-called body wrap. The receptionist was nice. She showed me to the room which consisted of a bed with a large insulated bag. On a shelf was a package with a paper jammie suit and instructions. She instructed me to put on a paper jammie suit and then lay in the bag until it beeps.The instructions said there would be some spray to use to help slim but I was not offered any. There was also no water offered. She said there was Netflix but the Internet was not working. Not once did anyone check on me and no one was around when I left. This was my first time trying a body wrap. I was not measured so I don't know if there was any good results. i don't feel any different but I will try a place that specializes in body wraps and detoxification.
