I have always had trouble with acne and she is just a book full of skin care knowledge. You can tell she's extremely educated and passionate about her line of work which puts me at ease. However Michelle has cleared my skin, and is actively giving me suggestions on other things to help my skin. Every time I leave after treatments my skin is soft, less red and I don't have breakouts for a while!!! Once I do I know it's time for me to get back in! I highly recommend Michelle! Now for nails!!!! KNIEYA IS AMAZING!! Yes they have a nail tech here!! She does all her art by hand and she is definitely talented. This review is for Brooke Congalves:…read more I'm new to the area and had been searching for a new hairstylist, which can honestly be nerve-racking when you've been searching from someone you can trust with your hair for years. I don't have access to social media, so I ended up finding Brooke through Yelp and I am SO happy I did! I reached out to her by text and she responded almost immediately. Before my appointment, I sent her a photo of my current hair along with a few inspiration pictures of what I was hoping to achieve. Right from the beginning, communication was easy and I felt like she understood what I was looking for. The salon itself is adorable clean, welcoming, and has a really cute modern feel. When I met Brooke, she took the time to actually look at my hair and talk with me about my goals. One of the most important things to me is keeping my hair healthy because I'm trying to grow it long which has taken some time. She was very upfront that getting exactly where I ultimately want to be would be a process, and I REALLY appreciated that instead of trying to do too much in one appointment. She respected the integrity and health of my hair while still getting me incredibly close to my inspiration photos. Brooke was also just genuinely nice and easy to talk to. The entire appointment was comfortable, relax and I was in and out in about three hours, which was another huge plus. She's also only about a 15-minute drive from my house, so finding someone this close who I actually trust with my hair feels like hitting the jackpot! Her pricing was very affordable, but to be completely honest, the quality of her work was beyond! If you're looking for someone who listens to what you want, is realistic about the process, cares about maintaining the health and integrity of your hair, and can actually deliver what you show her in an inspiration photo, go see Brooke. So happy I found MY new stylist. 10/10. Absolutely recommend!

First off, finding her location was incredibly easy and convenient, which helped ease my nerves before the appointment even began. Lena was also so responsive and communicative during the scheduling process, something that made me feel confident and well taken care of before we even met. I appreciate her working with my schedule and availability and that I was not in a real rush so I didn't mind an appointment weeks from now but she was able to schedule me in pretty soon so I appreciated that. As this was my first time seeing a curl specialist, I was a bit nervous going in, but Lena's calm, warm, and professional approach instantly put me at ease. She started the appointment with thoughtful and insightful questions to really assess my hair type, my routine, and what I was hoping to get out of the session. I mentioned that I wanted to make changes to better care for my curls, and Lena truly delivered in every way. She took the time not only to listen, but to educate. She explained my curl type, what my hair needs, and how my current habits were either supporting or unintentionally working against the health of my curls. I was genuinely excited to learn so much! I've never had anyone break it down so clearly, with such kindness and care. The amount of knowledge and experience she has was clear! What stood out most was how much time and patience Lena showed throughout the appointment. She never rushed, and I felt completely valued the entire time. It's rare to find someone who blends expertise with such genuine passion and personalized attention. And the treatment? WOW My hair looked and felt absolutely amazing hydrated, defined, and bouncy...I have never in my 33 years been able to style it and have it look as amazing as Lena did. I left not only with better hair, but with a better understanding of how to care for it moving forward. I honestly can't wait for my next visit. My husband was completely SMITTEN over how incredible my hair looked. If you're on the fence about seeing a curl specialist--especially if it's your first time--run, don't walk, to see Lena. She's a true gem and a game-changer for anyone on a curly hair journey. Another important thing to note, I purchased majority of the products Lena recommended and sells at her salon for my hair and the QUALITY of the products has me sold that I will always invest in salon quality products because a little goes a long way!
