Also remember that stealing is bad karma and in case you'd forgotten, there are a bunch of signs reminding you. If your chakra is somehow screwed up, you can take a wildly expensive sound or color therapy session or whatever other snake oil they're peddling that day that's guaranteed to lower your financial state and vastly improve theirs. I don't normally slay small local businesses but the fake love and peace pretense is annoying and misleading at best. If you want to do something holistic, take yoga, hit up a Pilates class, eat some acai or do whatever. Just don't waste your hard earned money on wildly expensive baubles or BS classes designed to make you part with you money and not your negative energy.

I took my toddler granddaughter for an after school session and she had a great time. Fortunately they had multiple unicorn figurines to choose from because it HAD to be a unicorn. The young lady employee who greeted us at the door warmly and her friendly personality set the tone for our entire visit. She explained how everything worked with the paints, instructions, and most importantly to have fun.  5 stars for customer service.  The cost of the figurine I thought was a bit high, but during the week (Wednesday) the studio fee was half price. We will definitely return in the future.

This location was very chaotic. They never really explained anything to us nor did we have one person dedicated to us. It more like as someone walked by "oh did we tell you this?". They need structure on their entry procedure. One thing they didn't tell us until 30-45mins in was they had a limit on how long you could be there. At this point we had already started on our pieces, luckily we had small items but I would have been very annoyed not knowing they had a time limit if I had a larger piece that I already started. They also didn't have a great variety of items to choose from and their paint brushes were pretty crappy. I hated that we couldn't get our own paints because you then needed to continually flag someone down to get more and they were never checking on us/available to get the paint. Overall, I've been to better pottery places and would only go back due to the location.

They did not even ship the order until 12/23 and my product didn't arrive until 12/26. When I contacted them to express my displeasure, Holly Manzi did not apologize for the inconvenience, blamed the post office for failure of delivery and outright lied to me (saying the order was processed and shipped on 12/22 even though I showed her the tracking order showing it was not picked up from her business until the 23rd). They have no interest in taking any responsibility in ensuring that their customers expectations are met and have no interest in doing right by their customers to retain them. It is a shame as I am new to this hobby and will need to procure lots of supplies to build my stock up and this appeared to be a good place to do it. However, due to the poor customer service, I guess I will need to find a different place.

If you are a student, you get an additional discount. So happy I had my F.I.T. id on me. I left with two black garbage bags topped so full, one of the helpful sales gents had to help me load my car. Don't be put off by the industrial surroundings of the shop. It's a factory store open only occasionally to the public. Enjoy Paterson as you drive through it. The Great Falls brought industry here and by the late 1800's, the power of the waterfalls resulted in almost half of America's silk being produced in Paterson, hence the town's moniker of "Silk City." Perfect name choice for this business as you certainly feel like you are in a small city of silk when inside the vast caverns filled with cones and cones of yarn. Arrive early when doors open as the best items get scooped up quickly. The feeling of guilt will pass as you realize all the guys and gals present in the warehouse are in the same shopping frenzy as you. Their remorselessness is contagious. Be sure to have prebudgeted for the amount you are planning to spend or you will eating ramen noodles for three months trying to cover your rent. You can set out all the lovely cones of your yarn to stroke to distract you from any feelings of hunger.
