There was a girl at work that had the cutest nails every week and it turned out that she was…read moregetting her nails done by Lannie. I actually drove from South Bay to San Gabriel (LOL) because I was really enamored and respected her artistry. I loved the little salon and how professional Lannie is. She's been in the industry for well over two decades and it clearly shows. I appreciated her patience with me as I'm new to getting nails done. The single one star review is actually from a temp employee that is no longer with Lannie! Her prices are on par with most salons. If I remember correctly, it's $40 for single color gel, and then $2-3 per nail for art, $2 per nail for gold flaking. Obviously it really depends on the designs you want but expect about $75 on average, and don't forget to tip either. If you're not sure, she responds pretty quickly to estimated costs. The gel manicure lasted me about 2 weeks, and I ended up taking mine off at home but didn't do it correctly so my nails are pretty bad and will probably take a few more weeks or months to get back to what they were like before. I'd just get it taken off for $10 or so at a reputable salon next time I get gel. I'd love to come as a regular but the salon itself is too far away for me to be comfortable to make that time commitment (2 hour roundtrip + 2 hour appointment) every two weeks. So for now, I think I'll probably try to stop by when I have a day off or for special occasions. Lannie's really busy, expect to need to book an appointment 2-3 weeks out.

Lannie = Awesomeness! Look at my before & after pictures. nuff said…read more Okay, I'll elaborate. Super glad I found Lannie, thanks to Yelp & Yelpers. I almost don't want to share bc she's already as booked as it is, but's she's so awesome it'd be a shame if not more people know about her & her work. If you're looking for a Saturday, call 3-4 weeks in advance. There may be cancellations but I wouldn't count on it. Weekdays are a little better, esp. during fall/winter, however, still call as early as you can just to be sure. Looking forward to many more fun nails appointments.

He is so considerate, nice, and really tried to make a welcoming and comfortable environment. Also looking at his IG, he is SO talented. Absolutely recommend! I booked with Trulycure when I was on a hiatus with my regular nail place. I did show up a few…read moreminutes early to my appointment since it was my first time and I also wasn't sure how parking was. My appointment time came and the salon was still closed (I just want to note that my appointment time was 30 minutes after their opening time) and I was waiting outside, unsure if I should just leave or wait. I ended up messaging Trulycure for an update and didn't get an answer. A lady showed up about 5-10 minutes later to open the door, asked if I needed a pedicure and then to sit down on one of the chairs. Now the chairs were really nice, but did not have a built in spa. She had to bring over a tub of water. I wasn't asked which pedicure service I want (I later saw there were multiple options on their menu) and asked me what color I wanted. Andrew had walked in while I was getting my pedicure done. He worked on removing my old set of gelx that I got done elsewhere and put a new set (he did an excellent job at this). I opted for a cat eye effect on my nails since he mentioned there is a promotion at the time. I thought Trulycure is somewhere I want to go back to but after reflecting on my experience of waiting without any communication they were going to be tardy, pedicure gal cutting my toe nails oddly to the point where my big toe nail is growing out not the way I like and the cat eye not being a cat eye (looks like a layer of glitter polish applied), I was completely ready to go back to my usual place.
