He even went above and beyond by replacing 10 sheets of rotten plywood, installing new flashing on a leaking window, added flashing to my chimney and even placed new chimney caps for me. Lucas answered while on an existing job. He was very honest saying he can't drop by to make an assessment. Knowing the importance of the situation, he said he'll have his father drop by to take a look. The father (was it Joe?) came by as promised and saw that the previous roofer didn't put flashing around a portion of the chimney. He gave a couple of possible fixes and I picked the more expensive one. He gave me a break on price if i went with the more expensive fix which i appreciated. Before showing up for the work due to budgeting issues i changed to the lower price solution. He didn't have any problems with this change. He and his other son (not Lucas) came on the day as promised. The funny thing was I didn't know they were there until i heard banging outside! They ripped some of the old roof tiles, installed new flashing and overlay them with some leftover tiles I had laying around. They also caulked around other parts of the chimney. They cleaned up their mess. There were aome storms afterwards and no leak! Thx to Lucas for knowing the importance of the problem and having your father and brother fit me into their schedule. And thx to father and son (was it Joe and Ezekiel?!) for fixing the leak! I would definitely consider them to put in a new roof when the time comes!

I'd already gotten three estimates, but I decided to call anyway. I'm so glad I did!! He returned my call immediately and made an appointment for the very next day. My home is small, but there are a ton of odd roofing angles and strange pitches that were not handled well in the past. He pointed out all the weak spots (most of which I was already aware!), making sure every issue was addressed and answering all of my questions. They had given us an estimate, that we did approve for $800. We expected a professional job, which we did not get. When we called the office for an explanation of why we were charged $800. Parts were $15 and he took 5 minutes to make a hole in the wall. Do they charge $800 labor? for 5 minutes work. We asked for Anthony to call us and explain; he did not have the courtesy to call us back. We kept getting excuses from there receptionist that he was busy!! They got bought by NRG right after they installed my panels. The panels have caused damage to my…read moreroof. Then NRG sells my contract to Spruce Power. Spruce Power does not install solar panels, so now I have to get someone to take the panels down. Many companies will not touch the panels because they don't want to be liable for panels that are not theirs. I would take the panels down myself to get my roof replaced, but under Spruce Power guidelines that is not allowed and only a certified electrician can do that. After dealing with this nonsense, I decided to take a real hard look at my electric bill and discover I am not saving a thing with the solar panels. What a rip off that I have to deal with until I can pay off the panels or my contract runs out.

Rather than remove the solar panels on my deceased mother's house so we can sell it to people who don't want the panels or to take on the lease payment of the panels, they are holding up the sale saying that the contract specifies if the owner dies, someone else has to keep paying for it regardless. What? That is the most disgusting business practice I have ever come across. Hope these people rot where they don't need any solar panels for heat. If you're older, don't plan on staying in your house for a decade or more, or don't want to burden your kids with dealing with a company like this, please avoid doing business with them. If you die while they're screwing you, they're going to screw your kids over instead.
