We decided to use National for our downstairs bathroom and once again they did a fantastic job. They were right on time and finished ahead of schedule. The best part of doing the bathroom is the workmanship. We can't believe its the same bathroom. The quality of the work combined with timing has made me realize I have found a great company for a long time! We would definitely use National again.

Gil's team replaced and re-tiled the bathroom floor, removed the tub and put in a wonderful new shower with a marble bench and grab bar. We were happy to be able to keep the existing cabinetry and wall tile. Outside, Gil's teams put on a new roof, removed and reinstalled a skylight window to address leakage, and repaired two places where the roof was leaking. Gil's carpenter replaced the decking on our rear deck and our side porch. All new steps were built. The front porch decking was painted and new steps were built. The entire house was power washed and the gutters were cleaned. Leakage damage in the kitchen was repaired and the kitchen was painted. Every task was completed quickly and expertly. Gil is honest and very easy to work with. All work was completely quickly and without problem. I highly recommend Gil and Goias Home Improvement.

I had to have the house completely repainted!! The owner is high priced and truthfully nasty!! Deal with them at your own risk!!!

Let me clarify, from our experience and listening to anyone who has hired a contractor, all…read morecontractors pretty much the same. Hilliard no different. We were impressed at first, being we purchased one of the first premier new homes by Hilliard in the Highlands on Bay Ave. However, if you are a buyer of any new Hilliard construction home, beware. No customer service. We have had a work list for over a year of concerns and promised would be address, we have been ignored. The owner "I am always around town" is never to be seen now, just his workers whom are very good and nice guys. Hilliard will promise you the moon and show concern, once monies pass hands seems done deal. Hilliard has had many land use issues in Highlands NJ. Before the bottom fell out, we referred Hilliard to friends for a new home purchase which the friends did purchase. They had to back out of deal because of non compliance of land use requirement, months later. They were virtual homeless for months. Hilliard showed no urgency to resolve which made us look foolish. Now we have to deal with our issues on our own as well as having an AC unit parallel to our patio deck. Very disappointed and quite bothered. We paid a "high price" for the house with no mortgage. Lesson: hold onto your escrow account till all is done to your satisfaction before releasing.

I was given a quote and booked my appointment for the work to be done. His crew (Carlos & Luis) arrived within the arrival window that was quoted to me, placed tarps on my wood floors and commenced working immediately. The work they do is stellar, they are both friendly and extremely efficient. Aside from a wonderful installation, they even clean up any mess they make during the process and removed the old shower door that was left. Pricing for the work was reasonable for the hefty task at hand. They say good help is hard to find but not in this case....I will only use AHR for any future work needed on my apartment.

The scope of the project was a planned remodeling of my master bedroom and master retreat which included new flooring throughout, new lighting fixtures, painting, and installation of a new electric linear fireplace. I was impressed by Sam on our initial phone communications- he was extremely professional and offered many suggestions that we ultimately included in the final project. After we signed the contract, he started work on the exact day that he had promised, and he and his team worked every day until it was completed. They actually finished a bit earlier than stated on the contract! Each of Sam's workers were very respectful of my property, and always left the work area very clean. Throughout the process, Sam showed a particular attention to detail that I truly appreciated. He has a good eye for color, and helped me to pick out colors for my walls, flooring and fireplace tile that really complement each other. Sam and his team constructed a wall length framing for the fireplace that truly exceeded my expectations. The finished product is simply breathtaking! Sam and his team will be returning after the holidays for the 2nd phase of the project, which will transform the master retreat into a custom designed walk in closet. I am certainly looking forward to working with Sam again!
