From our very first meeting with owner Scott Rusbarsky, we knew we had found the right company to paint the interior of our new home. Scott was incredibly professional, personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in making sure we were completely satisfied. His approach made our decision easy, and his entire team exceeded our expectations! The quality of their work was absolutely outstanding. From the beautiful painting throughout our home to repairing nail pops and fixing ceiling and wall damage in our bathroom caused by a leaking HVAC system, their attention to detail was impeccable. The repairs were flawless, and the finished results were everything we had hoped for. But here's what really sets Scott and his company apart: Their customer service doesn't end when the job is finished! About a month after the painting was completed, we noticed a few small areas that needed touching up. I contacted Scott, and without hesitation, he came to our home with one of his painters at 7:00pm in the evening to take care of everything. No excuses, no questions asked, and no hassle whatsoever. Just a genuine commitment to making sure his customer was happy. And if that wasn't impressive enough, here's another example of the kind of person Scott is. Recently, after some severe rainstorms, we experienced water staining on portions of our ceilings due to a roofing issue. I purchased ceiling paint from Home Depot, assuming all ceiling paints were pretty much the same. Unfortunately, the paint was noticeably whiter than what had originally been used. I reached out to Scott simply to ask what ceiling paint his company had used. Not only did he take the time to explain the exact product, but he went a step further and personally helped me get the correct paint from a local Sherwin-Williams store! Think about that for a moment. The original painting project had been completed well over a month earlier, the water damage had absolutely nothing to do with his company's work, and yet Scott was still going out of his way to help us. THAT is what exceptional customer service looks like! In today's world, it's not always easy to find contractors who take such tremendous pride in their work, stand behind what they do, and genuinely care about their customers long after the job is completed. Scott and his team are exactly those kinds of people. If you're considering having your home painted, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend 5 Star Painting of Howell and the Jersey Shore. Their workmanship is exceptional, their professionalism is second to none, and their commitment to customer satisfaction is something every business should strive for. They don't just have five stars in their name. They've earned every single one of them! Thank you, Scott, and your entire team, for an outstanding experience from beginning to end. You've certainly earned our trust and our highest recommendation!

From the incredible quality of the work with the highest level of professionalism, skill, timeliness, and resourcefulness, to their detailed eye for leaving no detail untended to and coming up with custom solutions that are beautiful as well as economical. They are the ABSOLUTE BEST you could hope to hire. Clean and neat in everything they do. They came in and installed an octagonal in my foyer ceiling for me last year that is magnificent! I mean they do ridiculously GORGEOUS TRIM WORK that I can personally say is STUNNING as well as elegant. This year they repaired a staircase that was never finished by another carpenter and who no one would repair for me with missing and broken pieces and then they sanded it BY HAND! with a vacuum in the other hand! My staircase looks amazing. They also refaced my old builder stock kitchen and bathroom cabinets which gives them a custom, contemporary feel. Pulled out my horribly dated and plain old ugly floor baseboards made of tile and replaced with new baseboards matching the rest of my home. With their unbelievable eye for detail they also installed my hickory hardwood planks on the outside of my large island and it's so striking I just want to spend my day looking at it!!! I mean seriously, if you need anything, this team can do it and make it seem like it's an easy task. It's clean and quiet in my house and they are doing mini renovations in 3 bathrooms and the kitchen. I can't say enough about Touched By God Carpenters. You couldn't be in better hands for whatever your project. I recommend them to the moon!!!!! I would trust them to do anything!

I did get a chance to meet the son while painting who gave me his family's business card for other services they provide. A few years ago, my husband came up with this detailed plan for a coastal fireplace with a new mantel & shiplap. We reached out to a few businesses. We discussed our plans by email and in person with J.A. Painting & Decorations. Despite some minor language barriers, we felt comfortable going with them for this big project. The price was good as well. In the end, we bought a real wood mantel ourselves. They removed our builder grade fireplace and built a new fireplace for us based on exact picutures and measurements we provided them. Another business did the tile work. J.A. Painting & Decorations also added the shiplap accent wall behind our fireplace and on the side of our stair case. They also painted it white for us. I just started doing online reviews and wanted to circle back around and provide this review, although a few years late. We were extremely happy with the finished product. They paid attention to detail and were professional. I would not hesitate to use them again. They really grasp our vision.

Painting and repairs have always been my fault as it is definitely an art vs task. I see it as something that could be done cheap as I could technically paint. However a bad paint job is definitely an eyesore and after baking an amazing cake messing up the icing makes the cake look plain bad. After estimates from people that seriously concerned me, Dave Danke from Paint All Painting immediately set me at ease and addressed all of my concerns. He arrived at the home and was an actual person who looked at my house how I was looking at my house.. eyes wide open. He explained how my idea of colors contrasted a bit too much and how they didn't compliment the light intake that I was getting from my windows. He showed me color a design that immediately made sense. Then he recommended an "accent wall" which I have never seen and seemed confusing since I originally chose contrasting colors but it made sense. He somehow did this all without insulting my original choices which in hind sight impressed me since I'm super stubborn. The application was efficent, clean and absolutely amazing. Given my circumstances he managed to deal with me and my busy schedule, I was absolutely blown away. The work was done a while back and still holds like the day it was applied. I actually came across this Yelp while trying to locate his services again and decided the review was warranted. I literally use Yelp for food.. but this one gets a 5 star. If only I could show you all my 1 stars in home repair and services as I've used quite a few. Hopefully I can get him to drive a bit to service my residence in north Jersey. Definitely worth the offer to cover travel expenses.
