The Grand Entry Hall is a soaring lobby that can accomodate private events and is the main display space for art shows. There is also an Event Hall that opens to the outdoor Terrace Theater. Concessions available are beer, wine, cocktails, soft drinks, and snacks. The facility is really quite spectacular. I recently visited to view the Roland Bernier retrospective which included a substantial selection of his work from the 1980s/1990s. The expansive lobby provided an excellent setting for his large-scale works. Additional art display space is available in the long hallway that leads from the lobby to the administration offices. The Arts Center has a busy schedule of theatrical and musical events that are presented in the Main Stage and Terrace theaters. There is also a regular schedule of art exhibits. This is a well-designed complex that offers many reasons to visit for those with an interest in many areas of the arts.

The website highlights the various shows, events and happenings at the Arts Center and each one is carefully curated, offered to everyone and at a low cost. The theater itself is huge, well maintained and offers levels of seating - perfect at any view. Staff is beyond friendly, welcoming and smiley each and every time! We couldn't see half the show because staff was blocking the view, we couldn't hear the other half because staff was hustling to take orders and secure payment from the guests.

I was pleasantly surprised by how clever, risqué, and funny this show was. We attended the Alice in Wonderland show and it was the perfect mix of sexiness and comedy. We got the VIP seats right up next to the stage, but from looking around, it appears there are very few "bad" seats in the house, maybe a seat or two behind some columns. My friends and I laughed and clapped and cheered. The performances were top notch. The drinks weren't gourmet cocktails, but that's not expected. I got a pretty good sized mule and dark n stormy and my friend's husband enjoyed his many martinis. The performers were kind enough take photos with us at the end of the evening. So down to earth. I also had a great experience with their staff. Early in the year I purchased two tickets in hopes of getting a good table. Then months later, they introduced the VIP tickets right next to the stage. I purchased three of those (I had added two friends by then) and the company was kind enough to refund my two regular tickets. They were very prompt and professional in emails. Regular tickets were 50-ish, VIP tickets were 70-ish. Worth every penny. No photos or videos during the production, but they allow for some photos and video at the end. Also close to many restaurants and bars, essentially in a pedestrian district. We walked to a close by mediterranean place (reviewed separately) that was fantastic.

We saw a burlesque tarot performance. The host was so funny and all the dancers were amazing and so talented! Love the body positivity and the diversity amongst all their dancers (male dancers were included!). They provide fun little noisemakers to use during the dances to cheer them on. They have lots of drink options too and come around to take your order. I got the non-alcoholic Aperol spritz which was a little strange but that's ok haha. Other girls seemed to like their cocktails and wine. The music, the costumes, the dancers, everything was so much better than we expected! So fun!

I would say the musical leans more toward a romantic comedy especially compared to the movie and you will definitely notice the differences. That said I still think The Notebook musical is great. I really enjoyed it and it absolutely still has those tearjerker moments. The cast was awesome and everyone sang so beautifully. The performances felt genuine and emotional and the atmosphere in the theater really helped pull everything together. Customer Service Customer service was amazing. Everyone was super friendly helpful and accommodating from the moment we arrived. As soon as I checked in they noticed I was a lottery ticket winner and congratulated me which was really sweet and unexpected. I did not need that but it was still a very thoughtful touch. Staff showed us where to go and once we got closer to our seating area another staff member walked us directly to our seats. Overall everyone was welcoming and made the experience feel smooth and stress free. Pricing & Parking I got my tickets through Lucky Seats. Which is a lottery-style system for discounted tickets. We won two tickets for a total of $78 and our seats were very close to the stage with a great view. Discounted tickets made the experience even better. Parking at DCPA was $17, and they only accept card payments. Parking was convenient, with several nearby options, and it did not feel overwhelming getting in or out. Food & Drinks For food and drinks I paid twenty two dollars total not including tip. I got one Sprite one bottled Sprite one bottle of Coca Cola and a pack of gummy bears. I understand it is for a great cause and supports DCPA but it is a bit pricey. If you need to sneak in your own snacks do what you gotta do. Overall Experience My overall experience was honestly perfect. The performance was amazing the seats were great and the entire night was so much fun. I would absolutely go back again and highly recommend checking out DCPA and one of their shows.

I can't imagine any improvement to this play.The multi talented Kenya Fashaw is always excellent, but she took us to a new level with her sexy rendition of Someone Else Is Stepping In. It would take a while page to give props to each of the cast members who had us bouncing, rocking and trying hard to refrain from singing along. I encourage all music lovers to treat themselves to this experience.

They're so new, in fact, they don't actually have a traditional theater space. They partner with the Shaver-Ramsey rug gallery in Cherry Creek and hold their performances in the large room off to the side of the main showroom. The acoustics are wonderful, and the space works really well. The performance we saw was in-the-round, so there wasn't a bad seat in the place. They don't focus on one specific type of theater - you'll find dramas, comedies, even musicals. I suspect that anything you see will be quite good as they get some of the best acting talent in Denver, and do a solid job with their script selection. The CCT also offers refreshments before the show and during intermission, including wine, most of which seemed to just have a suggested "donation" amount. You are allowed to bring drinks into the theater - yay! They find places around the area (Whole Foods, for example) and bring in pretty decent bites. So, there you go - yet another theater in Denver you perhaps never knew was there. Check it out!

I am thrilled and overjoyed about the experience that you were able to give to my sister on her birthday . She moved to Colorado this past year and it was too far me us to travel for this special occasion as she turned 60 and has health issues. I live in Kentucky and trying to coordinate this was tricky . I began with a simple text that was answered immediately. From there the plan went into action. I honestly didn't know where my sister would be and it took some work to figure it out . When I was able to track down the restaurant and time I reached out to custom singing and they were able not only to put this together and make it an incredible memory. The communication was flawless . I've never written a review , but this experience was priceless . I cannot thank you enough. Rachel was the perfect person to bring joy to my sister and her family. They had a blast and she has said over and over that she will never forget this ! I've always wanted to send someone a singing telegram because nothing is sweeter than a friend crippled from embarrassment. What better occasion than your bestie's 30th!? So I looked up my options in Boulder, CO, and George was at the top of the list. I emailed him expecting a generic song and dance and we got waaaayyy more! Days before I had sent George a list of details about my aging friend; her hobbies, likes, quirks, etc. We discussed a guilty pleasure of hers being Justin Bieber. George was able to craft a serenade to the melody of "Sorry" quite elequently and incorporate almost all of the embarrassing details about our girl! To top it all off, he assembled a costume of the perfect lumberjack which was a fantasy of the birthday girl. Who doesn't love a woodsman strumming guitar to Bieber!? Needless to say, it was a huge success! My friend laughed so hard her cheeks hurt, and shed a few tears from shameful laughter. George has mastered his craft and the customized lyrics are a must! After forgetting my best friend's birthday one year, I needed a good belated gift. Orange Peel Moses saved the day (and possibly friendship? ha ha). She loves bee's and he surprised her by showing up at the office in his fun bee costume, singing to her apologies that I'd forgotten her birthday but I'd been bzzzzzzzzzy. It was adorable and actually made her cry! Our office enjoyed watching it all go down and now, 4 years later I hired him again to sing farewell to my boss who has chosen a different direction. A good boss deserves a good singing telegram. He arrived as Bob Ross, and after many years of her battling the critics yet doing a supreme job, he sang Taylor Swift's song "Shake it off" for her send off song. I loved the idea of Bob Ross because she was venturing off to a new canvas, if you will. Overall - his number is saved in my phone and I know who to call when someone dear to my heart needs some singing sunshine. The family of a dear friend of mine in Denver was hosting a birthday dinner in her honor and invited me to attend. Unfortunately, I couldn't make the necessary arrangements to fly in from Seattle. I was worried about requesting a singing telegram with only a couple days notice, but George made it so easy and simple. Even though he was out of town, he was able to get Rachel to perform the singing telegram. A close friend of mine had helped my husband surprise me with a singing telegram about 6 years ago. I told her that one day I would get her back and I finally have! Rachel showed up in a gorilla costume with a tutu - which I appreciated since it has been so hot lately. She was a gem! My son and daughter-in-law were traveling and spending a few days in Boulder during her birthday. I feel so very fortunate to stumble upon Orange Peel Moses!! Living in California, I had no clue what my internet search would lead me but we could not be more happy!! My daughter recently relocated to Denver for a new position with Sephora. Due to her heavy schedule we were unable to celebrate her birthday together for the first time in 32 years. George Peele is a rare breed of artist that can create a truly breathtaking moment of his own creation, while still working within the confines of his clients needs and suggestions. He came to the school where my girlfriend teaches and delivered a beautifully rendered and custom tailored version of a Flaming Lips song. He worked with me closely on the song, collecting details about my girlfriend and sending drafts of song lyrics for my approval. She was touched and blown away by the performance, as were her co-workers and the roomful of kindergarteners that were pleasantly baffled by what they were witnessing. Happy holidays! I had the pleasure of attending DGMC'a…read moreholiday concert: Do You Hear What I Hear? in Boulder a few Fridays ago. Having supported the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus when living in the Bay Area, I was elated to discover that Denver had an active version of their own who hosts regular live shows. This particular concert took place at First United Methodist Church near Pearl St in Boulder. The sheer amount of singers was impressive! All of the men had a dramatic entry, one by one in their tuxedos, like the beginning of a church service. There was a backup percussion and horns to support them as well. It was a three part concert with a special guest trans choir performance that night. My personal favorite was Ave Maria. It was somber, yet beautiful. I love campy holiday music (and there was that, too!) but there's something about a serious Christmas song sung in a serious place, a capella, that really struck a chord. 'Twas not the night before Christmas, however not a dry eye in the house. Looking forward to more converts to come in 2018.

We were researching places to find dance instructors to help teach us to dance and to coordinate…read moreour first dance for our wedding. While we were looking and we found DAM dance studios and scheduled a phone conversation with JP. We immediately liked her and decided to do our first trial session with her. Coming to the dance studio we were very nervous because we are not dancers but JP was so kind and immediately settled our worries. We decided to book 10 lessons with her. Every lesson we did, we learned something new from forming connections, to inside/outside turns, to simple motions, JP was able to teach us everything. Not only that, but she was so kind and patient with us. She took each lesson at our pace and was encouraging us the whole time. By the end of our sessions our confidence grew and we were getting compliments from others about our huge dancing talent improvements. Because we started practicing early (1 year before the wedding) we were really able to space out our lessons and we had time to practice at home. That's something that JP was able to see and would always compliment us on. Our last two lessons focused on really perfecting our first dance and how to just dance during the wedding. I was very nervous about dancing in front of everyone and JP was able to completely ease those worries. Suffice to say we rocked our first dance and people were really impressed. We got compliments about it all night long and even after the wedding. The rest of the night I was out on the dance floor, pulling everyone else out too. Everyone had a blast and we had a full night of dancing. I would highly recommend JP to anyone looking for a dance instructor. She's funny, kind, talented, and an excellent teacher. She's amazing and we couldn't be more grateful to her. Thank you JP, you made our night so fun!

We absolutely love DAM Dance Media Arts! JP is an amazing teacher--truly one of a kind. I've had my…read moredaughter in various activities over the years, including dance, ballet, and gymnastics, but this is the first time we've had a teacher who genuinely cares about helping students learn and grow. JP has created an environment where my daughter is thriving. She looks forward to every class and absolutely loves JP--and so do I! JP is not only kind and encouraging, but also incredibly efficient and organized, which makes everything run smoothly. On top of that, the classes are very affordable, making high-quality dance instruction accessible. If you're looking to get your child into dance, I can't recommend this studio and JP enough. It's been such a positive experience for our family!

Showed up five minutes late to a toddler parent dance class. No one there. I called multiple times…read moreleft messages. Go to the coffee shop next door thinking we had the time wrong. Go back an hr later a Stephanie tells us " you didn't show and I had to get to the bank before my next class". Apparently we were the only ones.. little one was so sad.. we went back the next weeek as my daughter was so into It. Stephanie didn't introduce herself, ask my daughter's name or introduce others.
